Observation-based method for O_(3)formation sensitivity research is an important tool to analyze the causes of ground-level O_(3)pollution,which has broad application potentials in determining the O_(3)pollution formation mechanism and developing prevention and control *** paper outlined the development history of research on O_(3)formation sensitivity based on observational methods,described the principle and applicability of the methodology,summarized the relative application results in China and provided recommendations on the prevention and control of O_(3)pollution in China based on relevant study results,and finally pointed out the shortcomings and future development prospects in this field in *** overview study showed that the O_(3)formation sensitivity in some urban areas in China in recent years presented a gradual shifting tendency from the VOC-limited regime to the transition regime or the NO_(x)-limited regime due to the implementation of the O_(3)precursors emission reduction policies;O_(3)pollution control strategies and precursor control countermeasures should be formulated based on local conditions and the dynamic control capability of O_(3)pollution control measures should be *** are still some current deficiencies in the study field in ***,it is recommended that a stereoscopic monitoring network for atmospheric photochemical components should be further constructed and improved;the atmospheric chemical mechanisms should be vigorously developed,and standardized methods for determining the O_(3)formation sensitivity should be established in China in the near future.

Erosion wear is a common failure mode in the oil and gas industry. In the hydraulic fracturing, the fracturing pipes are not only in high-pressure working environment, but also suffer from the impact of the high-speed solid particles in the fracturing fluid. Beneath such complex conditions, the vulnerable components of the pipe system are prone to perforation or even burst accidents, which has become one of the most serious risks at the fracturing site. Unfortunately, it is not yet fully understood the erosion mechanism of pipe steel for hydraulic fracturing. Therefore, this article provides a detailed analysis of the erosion behavior of fracturing pipes under complex working conditions based on experiments and numerical simulations. Firstly, we conducted erosion experiments on AISI 4135 steel for fracturing pipes to investigate the erosion characteristics of the material. The effects of impact angle, flow velocity and applied stress on erosion wear were comprehensively considered. Then a particle impact dynamic model of erosion wear was developed based on the experimental parameters, and the evolution process of particle erosion under different impact angles, impact velocities and applied stress was analyzed. By combining the erosion characteristics, the micro-structure of the eroded area, and the micro-mechanics of erosion damage, the erosion mechanism of pipe steel under fracturing conditions was studied in detail for the first time. Under high-pressure operating conditions, it was demonstrated through experiments and numerical simulations that the size of the micro-defects in the eroded area increased as the applied stress increased, resulting in more severe erosion wear of fracturing pipes.

Construction land is the leading carrier of human activities such as production and *** the construction land suitability(CLS)on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)holds significant implications for harmonizing the relationship between ecological protection and human activity and promoting population and industry layout ***,no relevant studies provide a complete CLS assessment of the *** this study,we developed a model-based CLS evaluation framework coupling of pattern and process to calculate the global CLS on the QTP based on a previously developed CLS evaluation ***,using the land-use data of 1990,2000,2010,and 2020,we examined the adaptability of existing construction land(ECL)to the CLS assessment result through the adaptability index and vertical gradient index and further analyzed the limitations of maladaptive construction ***,we calculated the potential area of reserve suitable construction *** article includes four conclusions:(1)The highly suitable,suitable,moderately suitable,marginally suitable,and unsuitable CLS classes cover areas of 0.33×10^(4)km^(2),10.42×10^(4)km^(2),18.06×10^(4)km^(2),24.12×10^(4)km^(2),and 205.29×10^(4)km^(2),*** approximately 11%of the study area on the QTP is suitable for large-scale permanent construction land,and approximately 79.50%of the area is unsuitable under current economic and technological conditions.(2)The ECL adaptability index is 85.16%,85.93%,85.18%,and 78.01%during 1990–2020,respectively,with an average adaptability index exceeding 80%on the *** ECL distribution generally conforms to construction land suitable space characteristics but with a significant spatial difference.(3)From 1990 to 2020,the maladaptive ECL was dominated by rural settlement land,transport land,and special land,with a rapidly increasing proportion of urban and other construction *** maladaptive ECL is constrained by both elevation and slope in the southern Qinghai Pla

Response of global agricultural productivity anomalies to drought stress in irrigated and rainfed agriculture

The response of agricultural productivity anomalies to drought stress plays a crucial role in the carbon cycle within terrestrial ecosystems and in ensuring food security. However, detailed analysis of how global agricultural productivity anomalies response to drought stress, particularly within irrigated and rainfed agricultural systems, remains insufficient. In this study, the impact of drought stress on agricultural productivity anomalies during the growing season（zcNDVIS）, across both irrigated and rainfed agriculture, were analyzed using a suite of hydro-climatic variables. Specifically, the investigation utilized the multi-scalar Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index（SPEI）, the Multivariate ENSO Index（MEI）, and the Madden-Julian Oscillation（MJO）. Meanwhile, the relationships between hydroclimatic variables and zcNDVISwere analyzed at one, two, three and four months before the ending of growing season（EOS）. Results showed that（1） the percentages of significant（p<0.1） drying trends varied across the globe from 8.30% to 13.42%, 6.50% to 14.63%, 6.52% to 14.23%, and 6.47%to 14.95% at one-, two-, three-, and four-month lead times before EOS, respectively, during 2001–2020, which represented by the multiscalar SPEI. This observation highlights that most regions across the globe tend to be arid, which could significantly impact agricultural productivity;（2） the global mean correlation coefficients（rmax） for SPEI-1, SPEI-3, SPEI-6, SPEI-12（indicating SPEI at 1-, 3-, 6-, and 12-month lags）, MEI, and MJO with zcNDVISranged between 0.24–0.25, 0.27–0.28, 0.25–0.26, 0.21–0.22, –0.02–0.01 and 0.06–0.11, respectively, across both irrigated and rainfed agriculture system from 2001 to *** productivity anomalies demonstrated a significant correlation with drought stress. Imaging objects hidden behind turbid media is of great scientific importance and practical value, which has been drawing a lot of attention recently. However, most of the scattering imaging methods rely on a narrow linewidth of light, limiting their application. A mixture of the scattering light from various spectra blurs the detected speckle pattern, bringing difficulty in phase retrieval. Image reconstruction becomes much worse for dynamic objects due to short exposure times. We here investigate non-invasively recovering images of dynamic objects under white-light irradiation with the multi-frame OTF retrieval engine (MORE). By exploiting redundant information from multiple measurements, MORE recovers the phases of the optical-transfer-function (OTF) instead of recovering a single image of an object. Furthermore, we introduce the number of non-zero pixels (NNP) into MORE, which brings improvement on recovered images. An experimental proof is performed for dynamic objects at a frame rate of 20 Hz under white-light irradiation of more than 300 nm bandwidth.

Improving energy efficiency is regarded as a key path to tackling global warming and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).In 2020,the energy consumption of the world's ten major energy-consuming countries accounted for 66.8%of the global *** paper applied data envelopment analysis(DEA)to calculate these ten major energyconsuming countries'total-factor energy efficiency(TFEE)at national and sectoral levels from 2001-2020,and explored the infuencing factors of total-factor energy efficiency with the Tobit regression *** results showed significant difference in the ten countries'energy *** United States and Germany topped the list for total-factor energy efficiency,while China and India were at the ***,the energy efficiency of the industrial subsector has increased significantly over the past two decades,while that of the other subsectors has been relatively *** industrial structure upgrading,per capita GDP,energy consumption structure,and foreign direct investment had significant impacts on energy efficiency with national *** consumption structure and GDP per capita were determinative factors of energy efficiency.
