The employment of peer support workers is widely encouraged in recovery-oriented mental health systems and services, providing a tangible example of how to translate recovery values and principles into actions. In Scotland, despite a long-term policy commitment to recovery approaches, the creation of peer worker roles has been slow and patchy. This paper describes findings from a study on the levers and barriers to the development of peer worker roles in two Scottish health board areas. Findings suggest that new evidence on effective implementation and cost effectiveness should be prioritised to support potentially complex role development in time of reduced resources. We argue that additional evidence on effectiveness is unlikely, by itself, to lead to country-wide employment of peer workers. We therefore suggest that a policy commitment to peer working would be reinforced by not only a strengthened evidence base but also strengthened accountability mechanisms. In the absence of such accountability, decision-makers and planners might reasonably continue to ask "why bother"?

Gas flooding such as CO2 flooding may be effectively applied to ultra-low permeability reservoirs, but gas channeling is inevitable due to low viscosity and high mobility of gas and formation heterogeneity. In order to mitigate or prevent gas channeling, ethylenediamine is chosen for permeability profile control. The reaction mechanism of ethylenediamine with CO2, injection performance, swept volume, and enhanced oil recovery were systematically evaluated. The reaction product of ethylenediamine and CO2 was a white solid or a light yellow viscous liquid, which would mitigate or prevent gas channeling. Also, ethylenediamine could be easily injected into ultra-low permeability cores at high temperature with protective ethanol slugs. The core was swept by injection of 0.3 PV ethylenediamine. Oil displacement tests performed on heterogeneous models with closed fractures, oil recovery was significantly enhanced with injection of ethylenediamine. Experimental results showed that using ethylenediamine to plug high permeability layers would provide a new research idea for the gas injection in fractured, heterogeneous and ultra-low permeability reservoirs. This technology has the potential to be widely applied in oilfields.

Secure transmission for heterogeneous cellular network with limited feedback

We study physical layer secure transmission with limited feedback in heterogeneous cellular networks. A transmission protocol is designed to obtain more secure and accurate channel state information(CSI) for enhancing the secrecy performance. Under the proposed protocol, we derive expressions of coverage probability and secrecy outage probability to analyze the security performance with different system parameters such as feedback CSI length and number of antennas. Furthermore, an iteration algorithm is proposed to balance the tradeoff between the feedback and transmission time, and maximize the average secrecy throughput under coverage and secrecy outage constrains. Numeric results demonstrate the optimal feedback overhead and the maximum average secrecy throughput are influenced by the number of antennas.

Graph sampling is a very effective method to deal with scalability issues when analyzing largescale graphs. Lots of sampling algorithms have been proposed, and sampling qualities have been quantified using explicit properties(e.g., degree distribution) of the sample. However, the existing sampling techniques are inadequate for the current sampling task: sampling the clustering structure, which is a crucial property of the current networks. In this paper, using different expansion strategies, two novel top-leader sampling methods(i.e., TLS-e and TLS-i) are proposed to obtain representative samples, and they are capable of effectively preserving the clustering structure. The rationale behind them is to select top-leader nodes of most clusters into the sample and then heuristically incorporate peripheral nodes into the sample using specific expansion strategies. Extensive experiments are conducted to investigate how well sampling techniques preserve the clustering structure of graphs. Our empirical results show that the proposed sampling algorithms can preserve the population’s clustering structure well and provide feasible solutions to sample the clustering structure from large-scale graphs.

Secure Cloud Architecture for 5G Core network

Service-based architecture(SBA) is a profound advancement in the novel 5 G Core network(5 GC). Existing studies show that SBA can benefit from cloud computing to achieve extensibility, modularity,reusability, and openness. It also brings security problems(e.g., hypervisor hijacking, and malware injection). To provide secure 5 G services, we propose a service-based cloud architecture called Mimicloud for 5 GC based on dynamic and heterogeneous techniques. Mimicloud provides flexible reconfiguration mechanisms to protect containers and eliminate all attack knowledge obtained from adversaries. We use multiple containers to execute crucial services and ensure security with *** employs heterogeneous components to prevent multiple containers from being breached through the same vulnerabilities. Experimental results show that Mimicloud can effectively strengthen the security of the 5 GC. The performance overhead is analyzed in order to demonstrate its scalability.

Based on conventional radiosonde data, surface encrypted observation data and so forth, the diagnostic analysis of a heavy rainstorm in the central and east of Henan Province on June 29, 2006 was carried out from the aspects of its large-scale background, environmental field and physical characteristics. The results showed that under the effect of a favorable large-scale environmental field, the rainstorm was caused by a mesoscale system. The high-east and low-west circulation pattern, the eastward movement of high-level low trough, low-level shear lines and strengthening of low-level jet streams directly resulted in the occurrence of the heavy rainstorm.

The cube attack proposed by Dinur and Shamir is one of the most important key-recovery attacks against *** division property based cube attacks have been extensively studied and significantly *** particular,the MILP modeling technique for the three-subset division property without unknown subset proposed by Hao,et *** EUROCRYPT 2020 and the new technique with nested monomial predictions proposed by Hu,et *** ASIACRYPT 2021 are best techniques to recover exact superpolies in division property based cube ***,at this state of the art,whether a superpoly can be recovered in division property based cube attacks is mainly decided by the scale of the superpoly,that is,the number of *** the choice for proper cubes corresponding to low-complexity superpolies is more critical *** effective cube construction methods were proposed for experimental cube attacks,but not applicable to division property based cube *** this paper,the authors propose a heuristic cube criterion and a cube sieve algorithm,which can be combined with the three-subset division property to recover a number of *** to815-round Trivium,the authors recovered 417 superpolies from 441 cubes obtained by our algorithm of sizes between 41 and *** success rate is 94.56%.There are 165 non-constant superpolies with degree less than *** order to demonstrate the significance of the new algorithm,the authors tested the best superpoly recovery technique at EUROCRYPT 2020 using random cubes of similar sizes on 815-round *** experimental result shows that no cube could be completely recovered within a given period of time because the superpolies for random cubes are too complex.

A Buffer Management Scheme for Packet Queues in MANET

We introduce a new scheme of buffer management to handle packet queues in Mobile Ad hoc networks （MANETs） for fixed and mobile nodes. In this scheme, we try to achieve efficient queuing in the buffer of a centrally communicating MANET node through an active queue management strategy by assigning dynamic buffer space to all neighboring nodes in proportion to the number of packets received from neighbors and hence controlling packet drop probabilities. Our simulation study reveals that the proposed scheme is a way to improve the buffer management for packet queues in MANET nodes in terms of packet loss ratio, transmission efficiency, and some other important system parameters.
