Laplacian-based 3d mesh simplification with feature preservation

We propose a novel Laplacian-based algorithm that simplifies triangle surface meshes and can provide different preservation ratios of geometric *** efficient and fast algorithm uses a 3d mesh model as input and initially detects geometric features by using a Laplacian-based shape descriptor(L-descriptor).The algorithm further performs an optimized clustering approach that combines a Laplacian operator with K-means clustering algorithm to perform vertex ***,we introduce a Laplacian weighted cost function based on L-descriptor to perform feature weighting and error statistics comparison,which are further used to change the deletion order of the model elements and preserve the saliency *** algorithm can provide different preservation ratios of geometric features and may be extended to handle arbitrary mesh *** experiments on a variety of 3d surface meshes demonstrate the advantages of our algorithm in terms of improving accuracy and applicability,and preserving saliency geometric features.

The numerical solutions of two-dimensional(2d)and three-dimensional(3d)nonlinear viscous and nonviscous wave equations via the unified alternating direction implicit(AdI)finite difference methods(FdMs)are obtained in this *** making use of the discrete energy method,it is proven that their numerical solutions converge to exact solutions with an order of two in both time and space with respect to H^(1)-*** results confirm that they are relatively accurate and high-resolution,and more successfully simulate the conservation of the energy for nonviscous equations,and the dissipation of the energy for viscous equation.

Morphology of zinc alloy layer,from zincate solution with zinc sulfate and zinc oxide respectively,together with the consequent deposit was observed with SEM and back scattering electron *** was applied to analyze the components of zinc alloy layer and the interface of high-Si aluminum alloy substrate-zinc ***,the surface morphology of the zincated aluminum alloy after immersing in 3.5% NaCl solution for 7 d,is observed and the corrosion rate was ***,tension test is conducted to quantify the adhesion between high-Si aluminum cast substrate and the *** results show that,the zinc oxide contained zincating solution with sodium potassium tartrate and sodium citrate is a better one in multi-metal zincating *** zinc alloy layer from this one gets stable performance,perfect adhesion with deposit,and good corrosion resistance.

Background:Famitinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor against multiple targets,including vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2/3,platelet-derived growth factor receptor,and stem cell factor receptor(c-kit).Previous studies have demonstrated anti-tumour activities of famitinib against a wide variety of advanced-stage solid *** aimed to determine the safety and efficacy of famitinib with concurrent chemoradiotherapy(CCrT)in patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).We also evaluated the feasibility of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(d-CEUS)as a predictor of early tumour response to famitinib and to correlate functional parameters with clinical ***:The trial was conducted in subjects with stage III or IVa-b NPC using a 3+3 design of escalating fami-tinib ***,subjects received 2 weeks of famitinib monotherapy followed by 7 weeks of famitinib plus CCrT.d-CEUS of the neck lymph nodes was performed at day 0,8 and 15 after famitinib was administered before starting concurrent *** points included safety,tolerability and anti-tumour ***:Twenty patients were enrolled(six each for 12.5,16.5 and 20 mg and two for 25 mg).Two patients in the 25 mg cohort developed dose-limiting toxicities,including grade 4 thrombocytopenia and grade 3 *** most common grade 3/4 adverse events were leukopenia,neutropenia and radiation mucositis.d-CEUS tests showed that more than 60%of patients achieved a perfusion parameter response after 2 weeks taking famitinib alone,and the parameter response was associated with disease *** the famitinib monotherapy stage,three patients(15%)showed partial *** complete response rate was 65%at the completion of treatment and 95%3 months after the treatment *** a median follow-up of 44 months,the 3-year progression-free survival(PFS)and distant metastasis-free survival were 70%and 75%,*** with a decrease of perfusion p

An industrial park is one of the typical en ergy con sumption schemes in power systems owing to the heavy in dustrial loads and their abilities to resp ond to electricity price cha ***,en ergy in tegrati on in the industrial sector is ***,the concept of industrial virtual power plant(IVPP)has been proposed to deal with such *** study demonstrates an IVPP model to man age resources in an eco-i ndustrial park,including en ergy storage systems,dema nd resp onse(dr)resources,and distributed *** addition,fuzzy theory is used to cha nge the deterministic system constraints to fuzzy parameters,considering the uncertainty of renewable energy,and fuzzy chance constraints are then set based on the credibility *** maximizi ng the daily ben efits of the IVPP owners in day-ahead markets,dr and energy storage systems can be scheduled ***,the energy between the grid and IVPP can flow in both directions:the surplus renewable electricity of IVPP can be sold in the market;when the electricity gen erated in side IVPP is not enough for its use,IVPP can also purchase power through the *** studies based on three win d-level scenarios dem on strate the efficie nt syn ergies betwee n IVPP *** validatio n results indicate that IVPP can optimize the supply and demand resources in in dustrial parks,thereby decarbonizing the power systems.

The droplet and creaming stability of food emulsions stabilized by mixed emulsifiers is a research hotspot in the field of *** this work,we mainly explore the effect of pH change on the droplet and creaming stability of fish oil-loaded emulsions synergistically(Span 80 and SL)or competitively(Tween 80 and SdS)stabilized by gelatin/*** results demonstrated that initial droplet stability and droplet storage stability,and creaming stability of the pH-adjusted emulsions are dependent on both the adsorption ways of emulsifiers and the adjusted pH:(1)Competitively stabilized emulsions have more stable droplets than synergistically stabilized emulsions;(2)SdS-dominant competitively stabilized emulsions have more stable droplets than gelatin-dominant emulsions;(3)Basic pH-adjusted emulsions have more stable droplets than acidic pH-adjusted emulsions;(4)The synergistically stabilized emulsions at acidic pH have significantly higher creaming indexes than that at basic pH;and(5)The competitively stabilized emulsions have high or similar creaming indexes to that at acidic ***,the mechanisms are proposed according to Stokes’*** work will provide useful information to understand the interfacial properties of mixed emulsifiers in the food emulsions and promising application perspective for the development of food beverages including acidic and alkali beverages.

With the development of system engineering and related technology,modeling and sim-ulation of complex systems need to include many disciplines,modeling languages,sim-ulation environments,*** using unified modeling language to build models,barriers among different fields can be broken;the efficiency of model integration can be ***,a complex system contains some integrated circuit modules,which can be used for control or calculation of the *** with system model,integrated circuit model is more fine-grained and lower-level and contains logic for control and ***,a method that modeling integrated circuit by unified modeling language is *** this paper,a unified modeling language is introduced,called X language,and a modeling method of algorithm-hardware based on the X language is *** of all,the hardware characteristics of the Kalman filter algorithm are extracted by analyzing the ***,X language models are built to describe the ***,the X language models are converted to Very-High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware description Language(VHdL).Finally,the algorithm-hardware mod-els are simulated and *** results show that the algorithm-hardware modeling method based on X language is feasible.
