Pure Detail Feature Extraction Network for Visible-Infrared Re-Identification

Cross-modality pedestrian re-identification has important appli-cations in the field of *** to variations in posture,camera per-spective,and camera modality,some salient pedestrian features are difficult to provide effective retrieval ***,it becomes a challenge to design an effective strategy to extract more discriminative pedestrian *** many effective methods for detailed feature extraction are proposed,there are still some shortcomings in filtering background and modality *** further purify the features,a pure detail feature extraction network(PDFENet)is proposed for *** includes three modules,adaptive detail mask generation module(ADMG),inter-detail interaction module(IDI)and cross-modality cross-entropy(CMCE).ADMG and IDI use human joints and their semantic associations to suppress background noise in *** guides the model to ignore modality noise by generating modality-shared feature ***,ADMG generates masks for pedestrian details based on pose *** are used to suppress background information and enhance pedestrian detail ***,IDI mines the semantic relations among details to further refine the ***,CMCE cross-combines classifiers and features to generate modality-shared feature labels to guide model *** ablation experiments as well as visualization results have demonstrated the effectiveness of PDFENet in eliminating background and modality *** addition,comparison experi-ments in two publicly available datasets also show the competitiveness of our approach.

Heterostructuring 2D Co_(2)P nanosheets with 0D CoP via a saltassisted strategy for boosting hydrogen evolution from ammonia borane hydrolysis

Ammonia borane(NH3BH3,AB)holds promise for chemical storage of ***,designing superb and low-cost photocatalyst to drive hydrogen evolution from AB under visible light irradiation is highly desirable but remains a major challenge for promoting the practical utilization of ***,we demonstrated a heterostructure photocatalyst consisting of zerodimensional(0D)CoP nanoparticles immobilized on two-dimensional(2D)Co_(2)P nanosheets(CoP/Co_(2)Ps)as a high-performance and low-cost catalyst for hydrogen evolution from AB hydrolysis,in which 0D/2D heterostructure was synthesized using the saltinduced phase transformation ***,the optimized CoP/Co_(2)Ps exhibit a robust H_(2) evolution rate of 32.1 L∙min^(−1)∙g_(Co)^(−1),corresponding to a turnover frequency(TOF)value of 64.1 min^(−1),being among the highest TOF for non-noblemetal catalysts ever reported,even outperforming some precious metal *** work not only opens a new avenue to accelerate hydrogen evolution from AB by regulating the electronic structures of heterointerfaces,but also provides a novel strategy for the construction of precious-metal-free materials for hydrogen-related energy catalysis in the future.

Integrated assessment of yield,nitrogen use efficiency and ecosystem economic benefits of use of controlled-release and common urea in ratoon rice production

Controlled-release urea(CRU)is commonly used to improve the crop yield and nitrogen use efficiency(NUE).However,few studies have investigated the effects of CRU in the ratoon rice *** rice is the practice of obtaining a second harvest from tillers originating from the stubble of the previously harvested main *** this study,a 2-year field experiment using a randomized complete block design was conducted to determine the effects of CRU on the yield,NUE,and economic benefits of ratoon rice,including the main crop,to provide a theoretical basis for fertilization of ratoon *** experiment included four treatments:(i)no N fertilizer(CK);(ii)traditional practice with 5 applications of urea applied at different crop growth stages by surface broadcasting(FFP);(iii)one-time basal application of CRU(BF1);and(iv)one-time basal application of CRU combined with common urea(BF2).The BF1 and BF2 treatments significantly increased the main crop yield by 17.47 and 15.99%in 2019,and by 17.91 and 16.44%in 2020,respectively,compared with FFP *** BF2 treatment achieved similar yield of the ratoon crop to the FFP treatment,whereas the BF1 treatment significantly increased the yield of the ratoon crop by 14.81%in 2019 and 12.21%in 2020 compared with the FFP *** BF1 and BF2 treatments significantly improved the 2-year apparent N recovery efficiency,agronomic NUE,and partial factor productivity of applied N by 11.47-16.66,27.31-44.49,and 9.23-15.60%,respectively,compared with FFP *** BF1 and BF2 treatments reduced the chalky rice rate and chalkiness of main and ratoon crops relative to the FFP ***,emergy analysis showed that the production efficiency of the BF treatments was higher than that of the FFP *** BF treatments reduced labor input due to reduced fertilization times and improved the economic benefits of ratoon *** with the FFP treatment,the BF1 and BF2 treatments increased the net income by 14.21-16

Effect of Carbon Particles with Different Topological Shape on the Rheological Behavior of PVA Aqueous Dispersion

Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)is usually processed and used in a form of aqueous dispersion.A large number of inter-and intramolecular hydrogen bonds make it very difficult to obtain suitable rheological behavior for *** this study,carbon particles with different topological shapes were added into PVA aqueous dispersion to tune the steady and dynamic rheological *** results show that the zero-dimensional particles(carbon black,CB)increase monotonically the zero-shear viscosity of PVA dispersion,while the one-dimensional particles(carbon nanotubes,CNTs)make it first increase,and then decrease and rise again,like an N-shape,and the two-dimensional particles(graphene oxide,GO)can make it first decrease and then increase,exhibiting a *** is believed that the topological shape of the carbon particles brought about these *** zero-dimensional particles mainly act as physical crosslinking points due to their small *** at a certain content,both CNTs and GO can destroy the intermolecular hydrogen bonds between PVA chains because the PVA chains can twine around the slim CNTs and the large planar size of GO prevents the adsorbed PVA from forming hydrogen bond with other *** high hydroxyl value of carbon particle surface could strengthen this *** is expected that the viscosity of polymer dispersion can be regulated by particles with different topological shape and the surface characteristic,so as to widen the operable concentration range during preparing composite functional materials.

In this paper, we investigate the free boundary value problem （FBVP） for the cylindrically symmetric isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations （CNS） with density- dependent viscosity coefficients in the case that across the free surface stress tensor is balanced by a constant exterior pressure. Under certain assumptions imposed on the initial data, we prove that there exists a unique global strong solution which tends pointwise to a non-vacuum equilibrium state at an exponential time-rate as the time tends to infinity.

High-performance Sb:SnO_2 Compact Thin Film Based on Surfactant-free and Binder-free Sb:Sn_3O_4 Suspension

Surfactant-free and binder-free antimony-doped tin oxide （ATO） transparent conducting thin films were fabricated through spin coating and rapid annealing processes, in which nanosheets were assembled into a compact structure via self-contracting high pressure. The mechanism of this compact thin film for- mation was further proposed and analyzed. The compact ATO thin film had a low root mean square （RMS） roughness of 5.03 nm. This surfactant-free and binder-free compact ATO thin film delivered low resistivity of 3.04 × 10^-2 Ω cm, stable resistivity which only increased 13% after exposing in 65% RH air for half a month, high transmittance of 92.70% at 550 nm, and high band gap energy of 4.07 eV. This effective strategy will provide new insight into the synthesis of low-cost and high-performance compact thin films.

Boosting xenon adsorption with record capacity in microporous carbon molecular sieves

Xenon/krypton(Xe/Kr)separation is an important task in industry,yet it remains challenging to develop adsorbents with high Xe/Kr selectivity and adsorption capacity of Xe,especially at low partial ***,we report a series of microporous carbon molecular sieves(CMSs)for Xe/Kr *** materials have ideal bimodal pore size distributions that not only provide substantial space for the accommodation of gas molecules,but also allow selective diffusion of gas ***,the carbon frameworks decorated with polar oxygen-containing functional groups afford higher affinity for Xe than Kr,which is proven by density functional theory(DFT)calculations and charge density difference *** optimal CPVDC-700 exhibits a high selectivity of Xe/Kr and,more importantly,a record-high uptake of Xe(2.93 mmol g^(-1))at 0.2 bar and298 K,which is the highest among all the reported carbon *** experiments confirm the excellent performance of such CMSs for Xe/Kr separation,and the dynamic adsorption uptake of Xe and productivity of high-purity Kr are calculated to be 2.91 mmol g^(-1)and 208 m L g^(-1)(9.29 mmol g^(-1)),respectively,which also set up a new benchmark for Xe/Kr separation of carbon adsorbents.

Room-temperature hydrogenation of halogenated nitrobenzenes over metal-organic-framework-derived ultra-dispersed Ni stabilized by N-doped carbon nanoneedles

Ultra-dispersed Ni nanoparticles(7.5 nm)on nitrogen-doped carbon nanoneedles(Ni@NCNs)were prepared by simple pyrolysis of Ni-based metal–organic-framework for selective hydrogenation of halogenated nitrobenzenes to corresponding *** different crystallization methods(stirring and static)were compared and the optimal pyrolysis temperature was ***@NCNs were systematically characterized by wide analytical *** the hydrogenation of p-chloronitrobenzene,Ni@NCNs-600(pyrolyzed at 600°C)exhibited extraordinarily high performance with 77.9 h^(–1)catalytic productivity and>99%p-chloroaniline selectivity at full p-chloronitrobenzene conversion under mild conditions(90°C,1.5 MPa H2),showing obvious superiority compared with reported Ni-based ***,the reaction smoothly proceeded at room temperature with full conversion and>99%***,Ni@NCNs-600 afforded good tolerance to various nitroarenes substituted by sensitive groups(halogen,nitrile,keto,carboxylic,etc.),and could be easily recycled by magnetic separation and reused for 5 times without *** adsorption tests showed that the preferential adsorption of–NO2 on the catalyst can restrain the dehalogenation of p-chloronitrobenzene,thus achieving high p-chloroaniline *** the high activity can be attributed to high Ni dispersion,special morphology,and rich pore structure of the catalyst.

quzhou Aurantii Fructus(QAF)has a long history as a folk medicine and food for the treatment of liver *** our earlier study provided evidence of hepatoprotective properties contained within the flavonoids and limonins constituents in QAF,the potential preventative effects afforded by essential oil components present within QAF remains *** this study,we prepared quzhou Aurantii Fructus essential oil(QAFEO)and confirmed its anti-inflammatory effects on liver inflammation through experimentation on lipopolysaccharide and D-galactosamine(LPS/D-GalN)induced acute liver failure(ALF)mouse *** RNA-sequence(RNA-seq)analysis,we found that QAFEO prevented ALF by systematically blunting the pathways involved in response to LPS and toll-like receptor signaling *** effectively suppressed the phosphorylation of tank-binding kinase 1(TBK1),TGF-beta activated kinase 1(TAK1),interferon regulatory factor 3(IRF3),and the activation of mitogen activated kinase-like protein(MAPK)and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)pathways in vivo and in ***,QAFEO substantially reduced myeloid differentiation primary response gene 88(MyD88)-toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)interaction ***,8 compounds from QAFEO could directly bind to REAL,TAK1,MyD88,TBK1,and *** together,the results of our study support the notion that QAFEO exerts a hepatoprotective effect through inhibiting LPS-mediated inflammatory response.
