Metal organic frameworks(MOFs) have been considered as compelling precursor for miscellaneous applications. However, their unsatisfied electrocatalytic performance limits their direct application as electrocatalyst. Herein, by incorporating the cobalt-oxide bonds and polyaniline(PANI) with two-dimension zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs), a novel bifunctional catalyst(Co-O-ZIF/PANI) for Zn-air battery was designed based on a facile and eco-friendly method. This Co-O-ZIF/PANI with optimized surface adsorption effect and suitable Co^(3+)/Co^(2+)ratio, exhibits eminent electrocatalytic activity toward both oxygen reduction and evolution reaction. The as-assembled liquid ZABs based on Co-O-ZIF/PANI achieves a remarkable maximum power density of 123.1 m W cm^(-2) and low discharge-charge voltage gap of 0.81 V at 5 m A cm^(-2) for over 300 cycles. Operando Raman spectroscopy reveals that the excellent performance origins from the optimized surface chemisorption property of O_(2) and H_(2)O brought by Co–O bonds and PANI. This work provides a novel prospect to develop efficient MOF derived bifunctional electrocatalysts by optimizing surface chemisorption properties.

Microplastics(MPs)are important exempla of the Anthropocene and are exerting an increasing impact on Earth’s carbon *** huge imbalance between the MPs floating on the marine surface and those that are estimated to have been introduced into the ocean necessitates a detailed assessment of marine MP ***,we demonstrate that cold seep sediments,which are characterized by methane fluid seepage and a chemosynthetic ecosystem,effectively capture and accommodate small-scale(<100μm)MPs,with 16 types of MPs being *** abundance of MPs in the surface of the sediment is higher in methane-seepage locations than in non-seepage *** seepage is beneficial to the accumulation,fragmentation,increased diversity,and aging of *** turn,the rough surfaces of MPs contribute to the sequestration of the electron acceptor ferric oxide,which is associated with the anaerobic oxidation of methane(AOM).The efficiency of the AOM determines whether the seeping methane(which has a greenhouse effect 83 times greater than that of CO_(2)over a 20-year period)can enter the atmosphere,which is important to the global methane cycle,since the deep-sea environment is regarded as the largest methane reservoir associated with natural gas hydrates.

Exposure to poor indoor air conditions poses significant risks to human health, increasing morbidity and mortality rates. Soft measurement modeling is suitable for stable and accurate monitoring of air pollutants and improving air quality. Based on partial least squares (PLS), we propose an indoor air quality prediction model that utilizes variational auto-encoder regression (VAER) algorithm. To reduce the negative effects of noise, latent variables in the original data are extracted by PLS in the first step. Then, the extracted variables are used as inputs to VAER, which improve the accuracy and robustness of the model. Through comparative analysis with traditional methods, we demonstrate the superior performance of our PLS-VAER model, which exhibits improved prediction performance and stability. The root mean square error (RMSE) of PLS-VAER is reduced by 14.71%, 26.47%, and 12.50% compared to single VAER, PLS-SVR, and PLS-ANN, respectively. Additionally, the coefficient of determination (R2) of PLS-VAER improves by 13.70%, 30.09%, and 11.25% compared to single VAER, PLS-SVR, and PLS-ANN, respectively. This research offers an innovative and environmentally-friendly approach to monitor and improve indoor air quality.

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) chronic infection is a worldwide health problem, and numerous efforts have been invested to develop novel vaccines. An efficient vaccine requires broad immune response induction against viral proteins. To achieve this goal, we constructed a DNA vaccine expressing nonstructural 3 (NS3) gene (pcDNA3.1-HCV-NS3) and assessed the immune response in C57BL/6 mice. In this study, the NS3 gene was amplified with a nested-reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method using sera of HCV-infected patients with genotype 1a. The resulting NS3 gene was subcloned into a pcDNA3.1 eukaryotic expression vector, and gene expression was detected by western blot. The resultant DNA vaccine was co-administered with interleukin-12 (IL-12) as an adjuvant to female C57BL/6 mice. After the final immunizations, lymphocyte proliferation, cytotoxicity, and cytokine levels were assessed to measure immune responses. Our data suggest that co-administration of HCV NS3 DNA vaccine with IL-12 induces production of significant levels of both IL-4 and interferon (IFN)-γ (p<0.05). Cytotoxicity and lymphocyte proliferation responses of vaccinated mice were significantly increased compared to control (p<0.05). Collectively, our results demonstrated that co-administration of HCV NS3 and IL-12 displayed strong immunogenicity in a murine model.

The Cathaysia block located at the southeast South China block(SCB)is considered formed by the amalgamation of the east and west Cathaysia blocks along the Gaoyao-Huilai and Zhenghe-Dapu deep faults(here referred as GHF and ZDF,respectively).Although the extension of the ZDF to the northeast,which represents the amalgamation of the two sub-blocks has been confirmed,the development of the GHF to the southwest remains to be *** better constrain the detailed deep structure beneath the southwest Cathaysia,which hold great significance for revealing the evolution of the SCB,a linear seismic array with 331 nodal geophones was deployed across the Sanshui basin(SSB).Combining with the regional 10 permanent stations(PA),we obtained two profiles with teleseismic P-wave receiver function *** most obvious feature in our results is the ascending Moho towards the coastal area,which is consistent with the passive margin continental and extensional tectonic *** stacking profile from the dense nodal array(DNA)shows that the Moho is offset beneath the transition zone of the Nanling orogeny and *** deduce that this offset may be casued by the deep extension of the GHF,which represents the remnants of the amalgamation of the Cathaysia *** the other evidences,we infer that the widespread and early erupted felsic magmas in the SSB may have resulted from lithospheric materials that were squeezed out to the *** relative higher Bouguer gravity and heat flow support the consolidation of magmas and the residual warm state in the shallow crustal scale beneath the *** sporadic basaltic magmas in the middle SSB may have a close relation to deep extension of the GHF,which serves as a channel for upwelling hot materials.

To summarize and analyze the acupoint selection rules in acupuncture-moxibustion for stable angina pectoris. Clinical studies and literature on acupuncture-moxibustion for stable angina pectoris with definite acupoint selection were included through retrieving China National Knowledge Infrastructure（CNKI）,Wanfang Database and VIP in order to analyze the characteristics and rules of acupoint selection in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment for stable angina pectoris. It has been found that the acupoint selection of acupuncture-moxibustion prescriptions for stable angina pectoris focused on specific *** top 5 acupoints with the highest using frequency included Neiguan（内关PC 6）,Danzhdng（膻中CV17）,Xinshu（心俞BL 15）,Ziusanli（足三里ST 36） and Sanyinjiao（三阴交SP 6）. Acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of stable angina pectoris involved 12 meridians, mainly including the hand-jueyin pericardium meridian, the foot-taiyang bladder meridian, conception vessel, the foot-yangming stomach meridian, the foot-taiyin spleen meridian, and the hand-shaoyin heart meridian, etc., embodying the characteristics and rules of acupoint selection such as ＂highlighting the special treatment effect of acupoints＂＂selecting acupoints along the pericardium meridian, bladder meridian and conception vessel, combining the anterior and the posterior acupoints＂, ＂selecting the distal acupoints of spleen and stomach meridians, and focusing on specific acupoints＂, etc.

We applied periodic density-functional theory to investigate the adsorption of C2H2 on the Cu/Pt bimetallic and monometallic surfaces, including Cu-Pt-Pt and Pt--Cu-Pt representing the monolayer Cu on the Pt surface and subsurface Cu in the Pt surface, respectively. For the Pt（111） and Pt-Cu-Pt surfaces, C2H2 is preferentially a 3-fold “parallel-bridge” configuration, and a ＂p-bridge＂ structure exists above the Cu（111） and Cu-Pt-Pt surfaces. The adsorption energy of C2H2 on these surfaces decreases in the order Pt（111）〉 Cu-Pt-Pt 〉 Pt-Cu-Pt 〉 Cu（11）. The analysis of density of states, charge, and vibrational frequencies showed obviously weakening of the adsorbed C-C bond and high sp2 character on the carbon atom. Furthermore, when the top-layer compositions are equal, the nearer the EF d-band center is, the larger the C2H2 adsorption energy will be.
