The stabilization of severely As-polluted soil has been a challenge, especially for the extremely toxic As(Ⅲ) co.taminants. In this study, soil with a high As co.centration(26084 mg/kg) was availably stabilized by a H2O2 pre-oxidation assisted TMT-15(Na3S3C3N3 solution with a mass fraction of 15%) and FeCl3·6 H2O stabilization method. The results showed that the co.bination of the two stabilizers(i.e., TMT-15 and FeCl3·6 H2O) presented a better stabilization behavior than either stabilizer used individually. The use of the H2O2 pre-oxidation assisted TMT-15 and FeCl3·6 H2O stabilization approach not only co.verted the As(Ⅲ) to As(Ⅴ) but also reduced the toxic leaching co.centration of As to 1.61 mg/L, which is a safe level, when the additions of TMT-15 and FeCl3·6 H2O were 2 mL and 0.20 g, respectively. Thus, using only a simple H2O2 pre-oxidation to co.bine clean stabilization with non-toxic stabilizers TMT-15 and FeCl3·6 H2O co.ld render the severely As-co.taminated soil safe for disposal in a landfill.

This paper analyzed the current situation and development trends of energy co.sumption and carbon emissions,and the current situation and development trend of co.l co.sumption in *** the co.text of recently established carbon peak and carbon neutralization targets,this paper put forward the main problems associated with the green and low-carbon development and utilization of *** key technological innovation directions in mining were proposed,including green co.l development,intelligent and efficient mining,low-carbon utilization and co.version of co.l,energy co.servation and emission reduction,carbon capture,utilization and storage(CCUS).Focusing on the above technological innovation directions,it is suggested to carry out three basic theories,including the theory of green efficient intelligent mining,clean and low-carbon utilization and transformation of co.l,and ***,it is proposed to develop 12 key technologies,including green co.l mining and eco.ogical environment protection,efficient co.l mining and intelligent mine co.struction,key technologies and equipment for efficient co.l processing,underground co.l gasification and mining,ultra-high parameter and ultra-supercritical power generation technology,intelligent and flexible co.l-fired power generation technology,new power cycle co.l-fired power generation technology,the development of co.l-based special fuels,co.l-based bulk and specialty chemicals,energy co.servation and co.sumption reduction,large-scale and low-co.t carbon capture,co.(2) utilization and ***,necessary measures from the governmental perspective were also proposed.

Tetracycline-resistant bacteria（TRB） are of co.cern as emerging microbial co.taminants in reclaimed *** understand the effects of UV disinfection on TRB,both inactivation and reactivation profiles of TRB,as well as 16 tetracycline-resistant isolates from seco.dary effluent,were characterized in this *** inactivation ratio of TRB was significantly lower（3.0-log） than that of heterotrophic bacteria（〉4.0-log） in the seco.dary ***,the proportion of TRB significantly increased from 1.65%to 15.51%under20 mJ/cm^2 ultraviolet（UV） *** inactivation rates of tetracycline-resistant isolates ranged from 0.57/s to 1.04/s,of which tetracycline-resistant Enterobacter-1 was the most tolerant to UV *** reactivation of TRB,tetracycline-resistant isolated strains,as well as heterotrophic bacteria co.monly occurred in the seco.dary effluent even after20 mJ/cm^2 UV *** co.ony forming ability of TRB and heterotrophic bacteria reached 3.2-log and 3.0-log under 20 mJ/cm^2 UV exposure after 22 hr *** final inactivation ratio of tetracycline-resistant Enterobacter-1 was 1.18-log under 20 mJ/cm^2 UV exposure after 22 hr incubation,which is similar to those of TRB（1.18-log） and heterotrophic bacteria（1.19-log）.The increased proportion of TRB and the reactivation of tetracycline-resistant enterobacteria in reclaimed water co.ld induce a microbial health risk during wastewater reuse.

The SO2 emission characteristics of typical Msw co.ponents and their mixtures have been investigated in a φ150mm fluidized bed. Some influencing factors of SO2 emission in MSW fluidized bed incinerator were found out in this study. The SO2 emission is increasing with the growth of the bed temperature, and it is rising with the increasing oxygen co.centration at furnace exit. When the weight percentage of auxiliary co.l is being raised, the co.version rate of S to SO2 is largely going up. The SO2 emission decreases if the desulfurizing agent （Caco.） is added during the incineration process, but the desulfurizing efficiency is weakened with the enhancement of the bed temperature. The fuel moisture co.tent has a slight effect on the SO2 emission. Based on these experimental results, a 12 × 6 × 1 three-layer BP neural networks prediction model of SO2 emission in MSW/co.l co.fired fluidized bed incinerator was built. The prediction results of this model give good agreement with the experimental results, which indicates that the model has relatively high accuracy and good generalization ability. It was found that BP neural network is an effectual method used to predict the SO2 emission of MSW/co.l co.fired fluidized bed incinerator.

The iron and steel industry is not only an important foundation of the national eco.omy,but also the largest source of industrial air *** to the current status of emissions in the iron and steel industry,ultra-low pollutant emission co.trol technology has been researched and ***-phase proportion co.trol technology has been developed for magnesian fluxed pellets,and a blast furnace smelting demonstration project has been established to use a high proportion of fluxed pellets(80%)for the first time in China to realize source emission reduction of SO_(2)and NO_(x).Based on the characteristics of high NO_(x)co.centrations and the co.xistence of multiple pollutants in co.e oven flue gas,low-NO_(x)co.bustion co.pled with multi-pollutant co.perative co.trol technology with activated carbon was developed to achieve efficient removal of multiple pollutants and resource utilization of *** on the characteristics of co.existing multiple pollutants in pellet flue gas,selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR)co.pled with ozone oxidation and spray drying adsorption(SDA)was developed,which significantly reduces the operating co.t of the *** the light of the high humidity and high alkalinity in flue gas,filter materials with high humidity resistance and co.rosion resistance were manufactured,and an integrated pre-charged bag dust co.lector device was developed,which realized ultralow emission of fine particles and reduced filtration resistance and energy co.sumption in the *** source emission reduction,process co.trol and end-treatment technologies,five demonstration projects were built,providing a full set of technical solutions for ultra-low emissions of dust,SO_(2),NO_(x),SO_(3),mercury and other pollutants,and offering technical support for the green development of the iron and steel industry.

In this paper, scrap rubber powder(SRP), azodicarbonamide(ADC) as foaming agent and double-co.ponent epoxy resins(ER) as binder were used to prepare porous sound-absorbing material of rubber foam co.posite(RFC) by hot-pressing process. Response surface methodology(RSM) was employed to evaluate three process variables, i e, specimen thickness(A), ADC dosage(B) and foaming temperature(C), and to establish two polynomial function model equation between sound absorption co.fficient(α) and three process factors(A, B, C) at middle and low frequency 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 800 Hz, 1 000 Hz to determine the optimal preparation co.dition of RFC. The statistical analysis of results demonstrated that specimen thickness(A) exerted significant impact on sound absorption properties of RFC. And the optimum prepared co.dition of RFC was 10 mm specimen thickness, 3.00 g ADC dosage, and approximately 196 ℃ foaming temperature. Under optimal co.dition, sound absorption co.fficient of RFC co.ld reach 5.68%(250 Hz), 7.67%(500 Hz), 20.73%(800 Hz), 18.71%(1 000 Hz), co.nciding with the predicted values 5.70%(250 Hz), 7.69%(500 Hz), 20.77%(800 Hz), 18.74%(1 000 Hz) from the predicted polynomial function model, which exhibited that RSM co.ld be used to optimize the preparation process of sound-absorbing materials.

Pollution characteristics and quantitative source apportionment of heavy metals within a zinc smelting site by GIS-based PMF and APCS-MLR models

The abandoned smelters present a substantial pollution threat to the nearby soil and *** this study,63 surface soil samples were co.lected from a zinc smelter to quantitatively describe the pollution characteristics,eco.ogical risks,and source apportionment of heavy metal(loid)s(HMs).The results revealed that the average co.tents of Zn,Cd,Pb,As,and Hg were 0.4,12.2,3.3,5.3,and 12.7 times higher than the risk screening values of the co.struction sites,***,the smelter was accumulated heavily with Cd and Hg,and the co.tribution of Cd(0.38)and Hg(0.53)to eco.ogical risk was 91.58%.ZZ3 and ZZ7 were the most polluted workshops,acco.nting for 25.7%and 35.0%of the pollution load and eco.ogical risk,*** influence of soil parent materials on pollution was minor co.pared to various workshops within the *** with PMF,APCS-MLR and GIS analysis,four sources of HMs were identified:P1(25.5%)and A3(18.4%)were atmospheric deposition from the electric defogging workshop and surface runoff from the smelter;P2(32.7%)and A2(20.9%)were surface runoff of As-Pb foul acid;P3(14.5%)and A4(49.8%)were atmospheric deposition from the leach slag drying workshop;P4(27.3%)and A1(10.8%)were the smelting process of zinc *** paper described the distribution characteristics and specific sources of HMs in different process workshops,providing a new perspective for the precise remediation of the smelter by determining the priority co.trol factors.

Dynamic Design and co.struction of Highway Cut Slopes in Huangshan Area, China

Deformation and failure of high slope impact the co.struction and operation safety of highway in the mountainous areas. The deformation and failure are mainly caused by poor design which normally has not well co.bined with the geological co.ditions and unplanned co.struction. Therefore, effective design and co.struction management should be co.ducted for ensuring a successful co.struction without damage and risk. In light of the reality of high slope co.struction along highway in the Huangshan area, this paper proposes a technical procedure for dynamic design and co.struction management of high slopes along highway in the mountainous area. The proposed co.struction management scheme is divided into three phases, i.e., 1) design phase, 2) preparation phase of excavation, and 3) co.struction phase. During the design phase, experiences and lessons learnt from the design and co.struction of other high slopes along highway in the same region are summarized. The number of slopes and slope height should be optimized from the aspects of route selection and route form. During the preparation phase of excavation, "Excavation Permit Management System" should be adopted, and co.struction scheme should be made by the co.struction unit, then the scientific research and design unit determine whether it guarantees slope stability and makes optimization measures. During the co.struction phase, the scientific research unit would make proposal of optimization design, and apply the achievements of scientific research into practice through co.mon efforts of various units based on the understanding of excavation and investigation. The management system mentioned above is adopted to co.duct dynamic design and co.struction management for more than 90 slopes along the Huangshan - Taling - Taolin Expressway, and successful results of application have been achieved.

Behavior of sulfate in preparation of single light rare earth carbonate by Mg(Hco.(3))_(2) precipitation method

The precipitation of the water-leaching solution of Baotou mixed rare earth(RE) co.centrate roasted with sulfuric acid using ammonium bicarbonate for producing RE carbonate produces a mass of ammonia-nitrogen wastewater because of the relatively low solubility of rare earth *** solve the serious problem of ammonia-nitrogen pollution,new precipitators need to be developed urgently so as to meet the requirements of environmental protection and impurities co.tent of the product(SO_(4)^(2-)co.(3))_(2) as a *** results indicate that the co.tents of SO_(4)^(2-) in the La and Ce precipitates using positive feeding mode exceed 16 wt% because of the formation of La_(2)(co.(3))2.15(-SO_(4))0.85·4 H_(2)O and Ce_(2)(co.(3))_(2).15(SO_(4))0.85·3H_(2)O,while those of the Pr and Nd precipitates are 4 wt%-5 wt% since they exist in the form of *** precipitates prepared using synchronous feeding mode are all RE carbonate with only 4 wt%-5 wt% of SO_(4)^(2-) enclosed in the *** co.tent of SO_(4)^(2-) in the RE carbonate obtained using reverse feeding mode is the *** them,the co.tent of SO_(4)^(2-) in La precipitate is only 1.40 wt%.Both synchronous and reverse feeding modes can effectively reduce the co.tent of SO_(4)^(2-)in RE carbonate,which provides theoretical guidance for the preparation of qualified light RE carbonate products by Mg(Hco.)2 precipitation method.

Hazard co.trol of NOx is very important for the long life of hot stove shell and environmental protection. NOx co.centrations during different operation periods of hot stove were calculated acco.ding to thermodynamical and dynamical analyses. The results were verified by the previously measured data. Then, the influence of hot stove oper- ation parameters on NOx co.centration and the mechanism of liquid water formation in hot stove were studied. The results indicated that in gas period, the dome temperature should be co.trolled below 1420 ℃ in order to decrease NO~ emission. In the case of banking operation, NOx co.centration was about 40--60 times higher than that in gas period. Hence, reasonable measures should be taken to reduce banking operation, especially in the situation of large excess air ratio. Since NOx formed during the whole operation process, the most effective way of preventing liquid water and HNO3 generation is to co.trol the pipe and shell temperature, which should be higher than the co.densa- tion temperature of water vapour. The co.densation temperature should be co.sidered as the design temperature of pipe and shell for hot stove.
