Resilient performance of self-centering hybrid rocking walls with curved interface under pseudo-static loading

Frame and rocking wall(FRW)structures have excellent resilient performance during ***,the co.crete at interfacial co.ners of rocking walls(RWs)is easily crushed due to local extreme co.pression during the rocking *** innovative RW with a curved interface is proposed to prevent interfacial co.ners from producing local damage,enhancing its earthquake resilient performance(ERP).The precast wall panel with a curved interface is assembled into an integral self-centering hybrid rocking wall(SCRW)by two post-tensioned unbonded prestressed ***,two ordinary energy dissipation steel rebars and two shear reinforcements are arranged to increase the energy dissipation capacity and lateral *** SCRW specimens and one monolithic reinforced co.crete(RC)shear wall(SW)were tested under pseudo-static loading to co.pare the ERPs of the proposed SCRW and the SW,focusing on studying the effect of the curved interface on the *** key resilient performance of rocking effects,failure modes,and hysteretic properties of the SCRW were *** results show that nonlinear deformations of the SCRW are co.centrated along the interface between the SCRW and the foundation,avoiding damage within the *** restoring force provided by the prestressed tendons can effectively realize self-centering capacity with small residual deformation,and the resilient performance of the SCRW is better than that of monolithic *** addition,the curved interface of the SCRW makes the rocking center change and move inward,partially relieving the stress co.centration and crush of *** rocking range of the rocking center is about 41.4%of the width of the SCRW.

The low-wavenumber co.ponents in the gradient of full waveform inversion(FWI)play a vital role in the stability of the ***,when FWI is implemented in some high frequencies and current models are not far away from the real velocity model,an excessive number of low-wavenumber co.ponents in the gradient will also reduce the co.vergence rate and inversion *** solve this problem,this paper firstly derives a formula of scattering angle weighted gradient in FWI,then proposes a hybrid *** hybrid gradient co.bines the co.ventional gradient of FWI with the scattering angle weighted gradient in each inversion frequency band based on an empirical formula derived *** weighted hybrid mode,we can retain some low-wavenumber co.ponents in the initial lowfrequency inversion to ensure the stability of the inversion,and use more high-wavenumber co.ponents in the high-frequency inversion to improve the co.vergence *** results of synthetic data experiment demonstrate that co.pared to the co.ventional FWI,the FWI based on the proposed hybrid gradient can effectively reduce the low-wavenumber co.ponents in the gradient under the premise of ensuring inversion *** also greatly enhances the co.vergence rate and inversion accuracy,especially in the deep part of the *** the field marine seismic data experiment also illustrates that the FWI based on hybrid gradient(HGFWI)has good stability and adaptability.

Design method of extractant for liquid-liquid extraction based on elements and chemical bonds

In the petrochemical industry process, the relative volatility between the co.ponents to be separated is close to one or the azeotrope that systems are difficult to separate. Liquid-liquid extraction is a co.mon and effective separation method, and selecting an extraction agent is the key to extraction technology research. In this paper, a design method of extractants based on elements and chemical bonds was proposed. A knowledge-based molecular design method was adopted to pre-select elements and chemical bond groups. The molecules were automatically synthesized acco.ding to specific co.bination rules to avoid the problem of “co.bination explosion” of molecules. The target properties of the extractant were set, and the extractant meeting the requirements was selected by predicting the co.relation physical properties of the generated molecules. Based on the separation performance of the extractant in liquid-liquid extraction and the relative importance of each index, the fuzzy co.prehensive evaluation membership function was established, the analytic hierarchy process determined the mass ratio of each index, and the co.sistency test results were passed. The results of case study based on quantum chemical analysis demonstrated that effective determination of extractants for the analysis of benzene-cyclohexane systems. The results unanimously prove that the method has important theoretical significance and application value.

Zhuangyao Jianshen pill(壮腰健肾丸) ameliorates testosterone-induced benign postatic hyperplasia in rats

OBJECTIVE: To determine the therapeutic effects of the Zhuangyao Jianshen pill(壮腰健肾丸, ZYJSP) against benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) and investigate the underlying mechanism. METHODS: Forty-eight male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into six groups: co.trol group, BPH model group, finasteride-treated group, ZYJSP low, medium and high dose groups. Except for the co.trol group, 40 rats were castrated and injected with testosterone propionate(TP) for 28 co.secutive day to induce BPH. Meanwhile, the co.responding drugs were administered by gavage. The prostate wet weight, prostate index(PI), and the histopathological changes in the prostate were measured as the basis for examining the efficacy of ZYJSP against BPH. Levels of the serum sex hormones, oxidative stress markers, inflammatory markers, renal function markers, growth factors, and Cyclin D1 expression in prostate were measured to characterize the therapeutic mechanism of ZYJSP against BPH. RESULTS: ZYJSP administration significantly reduced prostate wet weight and PI and ameliorated histological changes of the prostate in TP-treated castrated rats. TP markedly increased the levels of creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and growth factors in the serum as well as the expression of the Cyclin D1 in the prostate. Most of these markers were significantly decreased by ZYJSP. ZYJSP significantly restored the dysregulation of testosterone, estradiol, and dihydrotestosterone caused by TP. Furthermore, ZYJSP relieved TP-induced prostate injury and exhibited both anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activity by decreasing interleukin-6, interleukin-8, and malondialdehyde levels and increasing the activity of superoxide dismutase in the serum. co.CLUSION: These findings indicate that ZYJSP can effectively ameliorate BPH induced by TP in castrated rats, and the underlying mechanism might be related to regulating sex hormone balance, reducing oxidative stress, and inhibiting the inflammatory response.

Effects of two silico.e resin co.tings on performance of FeSiAl magnetic powder co.es

Two silico. resins with excellent thermal stability,JH1123 and JH7102,are used as the insulated agents and binders for the gas-atomized FeSiAl powder,and co.responding magnetic powder co.es(MPCs)are *** insulation capability and application prospects of the two silico. resins are evaluated by co.paring the magnetic properties of the co.ted powder and *** scanning electron microsco.y,energy dispersive X-ray spectrosco.y and Fourier transform infrared spectrosco.y results show that uniform insulation layers are both formed on the powder ***1123 has stronger binding ability,and the JH1123-co.ted powder exhibits severe agglomeration,with d50(average particle size)approximately twice that of the JH7102-co.ted *** as-prepared MPCs exhibit outstanding soft magnetic ***,the permeability of FeSiAl@JH1123 is up to 74.0,which is 35.5%higher than that of FeSiAl@JH7102 because JH1123 can further improve the density of the *** for FeSiAl@JH7102,it has better direct current bias and lower co.e loss of 716.9 mW cm^(−3) at 20 mT and 1000 kHz due to its lower co.rcivity and greater anti-magnetic saturation ability.A co.prehensive co.parison shows that FeSiAl@JH1123 is suitable for medium and high frequency applications,while FeSiAl@JH7102 is more suitable for high frequency *** indicates that the use of JH1123 and JH7102 silico. resins for binding and insulated co.ting not only simplifies the preparation process of MPCs,but also enables the co.trolled production of MPCs for different applications.

Removal of kathon by UV-C activated hydrogen peroxide:Kinetics,mechanisms,and enhanced biodegradability assessment

Kathon(CMI-MI),a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(CMI)and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(MI),was extensively used in industry as a nonoxidizing biocide or ***,it would show adverse effects on aquatic life when it is discharged into surface *** this study,the removal performance,parameter influence,degradation products and enhancement of subsequent biodegradation of CMI-MI in UV/H_(2)O_(2)system were systematically *** degradation rate of CMI-MI co.ld reach 90%under UV irradiation for 20 min when the dosage of H_(2)O_(2)was 0.3 mmol·L^(–1).The DOC(dissolved organic carbon)mineralization rate of CMI-MI co.ld reach 35%under certain co.ditions([H_(2)O_(2)]=0.3 mmol·L^(–1),UV irradiation for 40 min).kobs was inversely proportional to the co.centration of CMI-MI and proportional to the co.centration of H_(2)O_(2).The degradation rate of CMIMI was almost unchanged in the pH range from 4 to *** the presence of co.(3)^(2-)inhibited the removal rate of CMI-MI,SO_(4)^(2-),Cl^(-),NO_(3)^(-),and NH_(4)^(+) did not interfere with the degradation of CMI-MI in the *** was found that UV/H_(2)O_(2)system had lower energy co.sumption and more eco.omic advantage co.pared with UV/PS system by co.paring the EEO(electric energy per order)values under the same *** main organic products were identified,namely Hco.H and CH_(3)NH_(2).There’s also the formation of Cl^(-)and SO_(4)^(2-).After UV and UV/H_(2)O_(2)photolysis,the biochemical properties of CMI-MI solution were obviously improved,especially the UV/H_(2)O_(2)treatment effect was better,indicating that UV/H_(2)O_(2)technology is expected to co.bine with biotechnology to remove CMI-MI effectively and environmentally friendly from wastewater.

The influence of the leading-edge angle of subgrade on the aerodynamic loads of a high-speed train in a wind tunnel

Hydrodynamic analysis of carbon nanotube clusters in distributor-less co.ical fluidized beds with step-by-step scaling
