Syntheses of zince oxide（ZnO） nanoparticles by direct precipitation and surface modification with oleic acid were reported. ZnO nanoparticles were characterized via X-ray diffractometry（XRD）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, infrared spectroscopy（IR） and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The prepared ZnO nanoparticles were nearly spherical and highly crystalline with an average size of 29 nm. In addition, high UV-light absorption properties of oleic acid surface modified ZnO nanoparticles were successfully obtained for a dispersion of ZnO nanoparticles in ethanol.

In this study,we examined the effect of transglutaminase(TG)cross-linking time(0 h,2 h,4 h,8 h,and 12 h)on the stability of limonene emulsion loaded by microwave-heated WPI(MWPI).Size exclusion chromatography results showed that molecular weight of TG-treated MWPI and WPI was enhanced with the increase in TG cross-linking time(0–12 h).Microwave and TG cross-linking decreased particle size(7.55%)and increasedζ-potential(5.33%)and protein adsorption(4.58%)of WPI emulsion at TG cross-linking time of 12 *** results showed smaller droplet size of MWPI-TG emulsion and its uniform *** obtained limonene emulsion loaded by MWPI-TG at 12 h showed the lowest creaming index and the strongest oxidative stability under aerobic conditions after 10th days of ***,the combination of microwave heating and TG cross-linking effectively enhanced the stability of limonene emulsion stabilized by WPI and facilitating the application of WPI in the fields of food,medicine,cosmetics,and other areas.

Better soil structure promotes extension of plant roots thereby improving plant growth and *** in soil structure can be determined by changes in the three phases of soil,which in turn affect soil function and fertility *** compare the quality of soil structure under different conditions,we used Generalized Soil Structure Index(GSSI)as an indicator to determine the relationship between the“input”of soil three phases and the“output”of soil *** achieve optimum monitoring of comprehensive indicators,we used Successive Projections Algorithm(SPA)for differential processing based on 0.0–2.0 fractional orders and 3.0–10.0 integer orders and select important wavelengths to process soil spectral *** addition,we also applied multivariate regression learning models including Gaussian Process Regression(GPR)and Artificial Neural Network(ANN),exploring potential capabilities of hyperspectral in predicting *** results showed that spectral reflection,mainly contributed by long-wave near-infrared radiation had an inverse relationship with GSSI *** wavelengths between 404-418 nm and 2193–2400 nm were important GSSI wavelengths in fractional differential spectroscopy data,while those ranging from 543 to 999 nm were important GSSI wavelengths in integer differential spectroscopy ***,non-linear models were more accurate than linear *** addition,wide neural networks were best suited for establishing fractional-order differentiation and second-order differentiation models,while fine Gaussian support vector machines were best suited for establishing first-order differentiation *** terms of preprocessing,a differential order of 0.9 was found as the best *** the results,we propose that when constructing optimal prediction models,it is necessary to consider indicators,differential orders,and model *** all,this study provided a new method for an in-depth analyses of generalized soil *** also fills

Identification of miRNAs and target genes regulating catechin biosynthesis in tea (Camellia sinensis)

Micro RNAs（miRNAs） are endogenous non-protein-coding small RNAs that play crucial and versatile regulatory roles in plants. Using a computational identification method, we identified 55 conserved miRNAs in tea（Camellia sinensis） by aligning miRNA sequences of different plant species with the transcriptome library of tea strain 1005. We then used quantitative real-time PCR（qRT-PCR） to analyze the expression of 31 identified miRNAs in tea leaves of different ages, thereby verifying the existence of these miRNAs and confirming the reliability of the computational identification method. We predicted which miRNAs were involved in catechin synthesis using ps RNAtarget Software based on conserved miRNAs and catechin synthesis pathway-related genes. Then, we used RNA ligase-mediated rapid amplification of c DNA ends（RLM-RACE） to obtain seven miRNAs cleaving eight catechin synthesis pathway-related genes including chalcone synthase（CHS）, chalcone isomerase（CHI）, dihydroflavonol 4-reductase（DFR）, anthocyanidin reductase（ANR）, leucoanthocyanidin reductase（LAR）, and flavanone 3-hydroxylase（F3H）. An expression analysis of miRNAs and target genes revealed that miR529d and miR156 g-3 p were negatively correlated with their targets CHI and F3H, respectively. The expression of other miRNAs was not significantly related to their target genes in the catechin synthesis pathway. The RLM-RACE results suggest that catechin synthesis is regulated by miRNAs that can cleave genes involved in catechin synthesis.

This paper deals with dynamical behaviours in an array composed of two resistive-capacitive-inductive-shunted （RCL-shunted） Josephson junctions （RCLSJJs） and a shunted resistor. Numerical simulations show that periodic, chaotic and hyperchaotic states can coexist in this array. Moreover, a scheme for controlling hyperchaos in this array is presented by adjusting the external bias current. Numerical results confirm that this scheme can be effectively used to control hyperchaotic states in this array into stable periodic states, and different stable periodic states with different period numbers can be obtained by appropriately choosing the intensity of the external bias current.

The rare earth elements contents (La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm) in 150 Pu er tea samples were analyzed by using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES), to evaluate the safety of Pu er tea. Among the investigated rare earth elements (REEs), Ce was the highest (35% of the total REEs content) whose concentrations were found to be in the range of 0.11–1.39 mg/kg, whereas that of Sm in the range 0.01–0.21 mg/kg, showing minimum levels (5.2%). Thiazine sugar derivative 2 was synthesized and characterized by IR, NMR and H RMS, and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal is of monoclinic system （C16H24N2O8S2, Mr = 436.49） with space group P21, a = 10.311（2）, b = 9.1198（18）, c = 11.623（2）A, β = 109.47（3）°, V= 1030.4（4）A^3, Z= 2, Dc = 1.407 g/cm^3, F（000）= 460, μ= 0.303 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0437 and wR = 0.0561 for 1954 observed reflections （I 〉 2σ（I））. Nine hydrogen bonds were found. The absolute configuration of this molecule was confirmed by comparison with the original material.
