Background Despite its prevalence, there is ongoing debate regarding the optimal management strategy for chronic subdural hematoma (CsDH), reflecting the variability in clinical presentation and treatment outcomes. This ambidirectional, nationwide, multicenter registry study aims to assess the efficacy and safety of multimodality treatment approaches for CsDH in the Chinese ***/design A multicenter cohort of CsDH patients from 59 participating hospitals in mainland China was enrolled in this study. The treatment modalities encompassed a range of options and baseline demographics, clinical characteristics, radiographic findings, and surgical techniques were documented. Clinical outcomes, including hematoma resolution, recurrence rates, neurological status, and complications, were assessed at regular intervals during treatment, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years *** Between March 2022 and August 2023, a comprehensive cohort comprising 2173 individuals who met the criterion was assembled across 59 participating clinical sites. Of those patients, 81.1% were male, exhibiting an average age of 70.12 ± 14.53 years. A historical record of trauma was documented in 48.0% of cases, while headache constituted the predominant clinical presentation in 58.1% of patients. The foremost surgical modality employed was the burr hole (61.3%), with conservative management accounting for 25.6% of cases. Notably, a favorable clinical prognosis was observed in 88.9% of CsDH patients at 3 months, and the recurrence rate was found to be 2.4%.Conclusion This registry study provides critical insights into the multimodality treatment of CsDH in China, offering a foundation for advancing clinical practices, optimizing patient management, and ultimately, improving the quality of life for individuals suffering from this challenging neurosurgical *** registration ChiCTR2200057179

Application Effect of stratified Nursing Intervention for ICU Mechanically Ventilated Patients in the Context of Aspiration Risk Assessment

Objective:To explore the application effect of stratified nursing intervention based on the background of misinspiration risk assessment in mechanically ventilated patients in intensive care unit(ICU).Methods:100 cases of mechanically ventilated patients who were admitted to the ICU of our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method,with 50 cases in each of the two *** control group was given routine care in ICU,and the observation group was given stratified nursing interventions based on the background of the risk of aspiration assessment on the basis of the control group,and both groups were cared for until they were transferred out of the ICU,and the mechanical ventilation time,ICU stay time,muscle strength score,complication rate,adherence,and satisfaction were observed and compared between the two ***:The mechanical ventilation time and ICU stay time of the observation group were shorter than that of the control group after the intervention;the muscle strength score,compliance and satisfaction of the observation group were higher than that of the control group after the intervention;and the complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after the intervention,all of which were Pstratified nursing intervention based on the background of misaspiration risk assessment in ICU mechanically ventilated patients can improve the patient's muscle strength,shorten the time of mechanical ventilation,promote the patient's recovery,reduce the occurrence of complications,and improve the patient's compliance and satisfaction.

Clinical Value of Endodontic Patients Treated with Calcium Hydroxide Preparations

Objective: To investigate the clinical value of endodontics patients treated with calcium hydroxide preparation. Methods: The study cases were selected from the endodontics patients who visited our hospital during the period from January 2022 to December 2023, and 97 cases were randomly selected according to the numerical table method and divided into two groups. There were 49 cases in the control group and 48 cases in the experimental group. The control group received conventional therapy, while the experimental group received treatment with calcium hydroxide preparation, and the clinical value of the two different treatment modalities was observed and analyzed. Results: In the experimental group, 45 out of 48 patients (93.75%) showed effectiveness, compared to 39 out of 49 patients (79.59%) in the control group. The effectiveness rate was significantly higher in the experimental group (P s scores between the two groups were similar (P > 0.05), but after 1 and 3 months of treatment, the scores decreased in both groups. However, the experimental group had a greater decrease, indicating lower pain levels (P s (8.33%) compared to the control group (24.49%), with a significant difference (P satisfaction with treatment was higher in the experimental group (95.83%) compared to the control group (95.83%), resulting in an overall higher satisfaction rate in the experimental group (83.67%;P sion: The treatment effect of endodontics with calcium hydroxide preparation is remarkable, which not only can effectively help patients to relieve their pain and reduce the incidence of complications but also plays an important role in improving patients’ satisfaction with treatment, which is worthwhile to be vigorously promoted in the clinic and learn from it.

目的:观察穴位敷贴及耳压疗法联合糠酸莫米松喷鼻剂对变应性鼻炎(AR)患者炎性细胞和免疫功能的影响。方法:纳入50例采用穴位敷贴及耳压疗法联合糠酸莫米松喷鼻剂治疗的AR患者作为观察组,同期纳入50例单独采用糠酸莫米松鼻喷剂治疗的AR患者作为对照组。比较两组临床疗效,并观察两组治疗前后炎性细胞计数及免疫功能的变化。结果:观察组临床总有效率高于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组鼻症状评分、鼻腔分泌物嗜酸性粒细胞计数及血清免疫球蛋白E水平均明显降低(P<0.05),且观察组三项均明显低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:穴位敷贴及耳压疗法联合糠酸莫米松喷鼻剂对AR患者具有较好的治疗效果,有减轻炎症反应,改善免疫功能的作用,同时具有较高的安全性。

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of different basal insulins in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods:The current research progress on different basal insulins was evaluated,with efficacy indicators including fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and glycated hemoglobin(HbAic),and safety indicators focusing mainly on weight change and the incidence of ***:several different basal insulins showed similar metabolic control effects in terms of fasting plasma glucose and glycated ***,the risk of hypoglycemia was lower with insulin glargine 300(Glar-300),insulin degludec 100(Deg-100),and insulin degludec 200(Deg-200)compared to insulin glargine 100(Glar-100).Additionally,Glar-300 had the least impact on ***:For the treatment of T2DM,different basal insulins have similar therapeutic effects,but there are differences in the incidence of hypoglycemic events and their impact on *** insulin selection and dosage adjustments should be made based on the different patient groups.

BACKGROUND As a well-known fact to the public,gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)could bring serious risks for both pregnant women and *** this important investigation into the linkage between GDM patients and their altered expression in the serum,proteomics techniques were deployed to detect the differentially expressed proteins(DEPs)of in the serum of GDM patients to further explore its pathogenesis,and find out possible biomarkers to forecast GDM *** subjects were divided into GDM and normal control groups according to the IADPsG diagnostic *** samples were randomly selected from four cases in each group at 24-28 wk of gestation,and the blood samples were identified by applying iTRAQ technology combined with liquid chromatography-tandem mass *** proteins and signaling pathways associated with GDM were identified by bioinformatics analysis,and the expression of key proteins in serum from 12 wk to 16 wk of gestation was further verified using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELIsA).REsULTs Forty-seven proteins were significantly differentially expressed by analyzing the serum samples between the GDMgravidas as well as the healthy ones. Among them, 31 proteins were found to be upregulated notably and the rest16 proteins were downregulated remarkably. Bioinformatic data report revealed abnormal expression of proteinsassociated with lipid metabolism, coagulation cascade activation, complement system and inflammatory responsein the GDM group. ELIsA results showed that the contents of RBP4, as well as ANGPTL8, increased in the serumof GDM gravidas compared with the healthy ones, and this change was found to initiate from 12 wk to 16 wk *** GDM symptoms may involve abnormalities in lipid metabolism, coagulation cascade activation, complementsystem and inflammatory response. RBP4 and ANGPTL8 are expected to be early predictors of GDM.
