An Unusual Binodal (4,12)-Connected 3D Supramolecular Network Based on [Mn_4(OH)_2(H_2O)_2]^(6+) Subunits

A new two-dimensional Mnn metal-organic framework （MOF）, [Mn4（μ3-OH）2L2 （4,4＇-bipy）2（H20）2]·H2O （1, H3L = 5-oxyacetateisophthalic acid, 4,4＇-bipy = 4,4＇-bipyridine） has been synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2/n with a = 10.420（1）, b = 19.485（1）, c = 11.079（1） A, β = 109.63（1）°, V= 21 1 8.8（1） A3, C40H34Mn4N4019, Mr = 1094.47, Dc= 1.715, Z = 2, F（000） = 1108,/2 = 1.251, R = 0.0300 and wR = 0.0812 for 4236 observed reflections （I 〉 2σ（/））. Single-crystal X-ray structure analysis reveals that 1 features a two-dimensional （3,6）-connected layer constructed by [Mn4（OH）2（H20）2]6＋ clusters. The adjacent layers are further linked with each other by hydrogen bonds to produce an unusual binodal （4,12）-connected 3D supramolecular network with 4-connected L3- ligands and 12-connected tetranuclear [Mn4（OH）2（H20）2]6＋ subunits.

RNA secondary structure has become the most exploitable feature for ab initio detection of non-coding RNA（nc RNA） genes from genome sequences. Previous work has used Minimum Free Energy（MFE） based methods developed to identify nc RNAs by measuring sequence fold stability and certainty. However, these methods yielded variable performances across different nc RNA species. Designing novel reliable structural measures will help to develop effective nc RNA gene finding tools. This paper introduces a new RNA structural measure based on a novel RNA secondary structure ensemble constrained by characteristics of native RNA tertiary structures. The new method makes it possible to achieve a performance leap from the previous structure-based methods. Test results on standard nc RNA datasets（benchmarks） demonstrate that this method can effectively separate most nc RNAs families from genome backgrounds.

Sonoluminescence is more distinctly observed in phosphoric and sulfuric acid,which exhibit high viscosity and lower vapor pressures relative to *** an 85-wt%phosphoric acid solution saturated with argon(Ar),variations in the light-emitting regimes of bubbles were noted to correspond with increments in the driving acoustic ***,the bubbles were observed to perform a dance-like motion 2 cm below the multi-bubble sonoluminescence(MBSL)cluster,traversing a 25-mm^(2) grid during the camera exposure *** analysis conducted at the beginning of the experiment showed a gradual attenuation of CN(B^(2)Σ–X^(2)Σ)emission concurrent with a strengthening of Ar(4p–4s)atom emission *** application of a theoretical temperature model to the spectral data revealed that the internal temperature of the bubbles escalates swiftly upon their *** study is instrumental in advancing the comprehension of the underlying mechanisms of sonoluminescence and in the formulation of a dynamic model for the behavior of the bubbles.

Background:Adolescent violence is now regarded as a major public health *** growing interest in psychographic risk factors for violent behavior,few studies have explored the role of strategies to regulate cognitive emotion in *** study aimed to investigate the prevalence of adolescent violence behaviors and to identify the relationship between specific strategies to regulate cognitive emotion and forms of violent ***:We cross-sectionally surveyed 3315 students in grades 7 to 10 using anonymous,self-reporting questionnaires to examine strategies to regulate cognitive emotion and violence-related behaviors in young adolescents.A logistic regression model was used to identify the relationship between specific violent behaviors and strategies to regulate cognitive ***:The most commonly reported type of violent behavior was verbal attack(48.6%),while 7.1%of students were involved in fi ghts and 2.4%had been injured in *** were involved in all forms of violent behavior studied,and did so significantly more often than girls(P<0.05).Logistic regression revealed that six cognitive emotion strategies(self-blame,rumination,planning,reappraisal,catastrophisizing,and blaming others)were associated with violent behaviors,of which catastrophisizing was the most significant factor of all violent behaviors examined that were infl uenced by this ***:Violence-related behaviors,especially verbal attacks,were common among *** cognitive emotion regulation strategies were positively associated with specific violent behaviors,but catastrophisizing was strongly related to all forms of violent ***,programs targeting adolescent violence must address this and other maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies.

Slow light with high group index and wideband is achieved in photonic crystal coupled-resonator optical waveguides （PC-CROWs）. According to the eye-shaped scatterers and various microcavities, saddle- like curves between the normalized frequency f and wave number k can be obtained by adjusting the parameters of the scatterers, parameters of the coupling microcavities, and positions of the scatterers. Slow light with decent flat band and group index can then be achieved by optimizing the parameters. Simulations prove that the maximal value of the group index is 〉 104, and the normalized delay bandwidth product within a new varying range of ng 〉 102 or ng 〉 103 can be a new and effective criterion of evaluation for the slow light in PC-CROWs.

The method of Winters(1960)is one of the most well-known forecasting methodologies in *** main reason behind its popularity is that it is easy to implement and can give quite effective and efficient results for practice ***,this method is not capable of capturing a pattern being emerged due to the simultaneous effects of two different asynchronous calendars,such as Gregorian and *** adapt this method in a way that it can deal with such patterns,and study its performance using a real dataset collected from a brewery factory in *** the same data set,we also provide a comparative performance analysis between our model and several forecasting models such as Winter’s(Winters 1960),TBAT(De Livera et al.2011),ETS(Hyndman et al.2002),and ARIMA(Hyndman and Khandakar 2008).The results we obtained reveal that better forecasts can be achieved using the new method when two asynchronous calendars exert their effects on the time-series.

The effects of sediment aluminum(Al),organic carbon(OC),and dissolved oxygen(DO)on phosphorus(P)transformation,at the water-sediment interface of a eutrophic constructed lake,were investigated via a series of simulative *** above three factors had various influences on dissolved P concentration,water pH,water and surface sediment appearance,and P *** of Al had the greatest effect on suppressing P release,and the water p H remained alkaline in the water-sediment system under various OC and DO *** dissolution of the added Al was detected.31P-N M R characterization suggested that OC addition did not promote biological P uptake to polyphosphates under oxic *** simulation result on the added phytate indicated the absence of phytate in the original lake *** compared to the reported natural lakes and wetland,the water-sediment system of the constructed lake responded differently to some simulative *** Al,OC,and DO can be controlled with engineering methods,the results of this study provide insights for the practical site restorations.

Bipartite Consensus of Discrete-Time Double-Integrator Multi-Agent Systems with Measurement Noise

The effects of measurement noise are investigated in the context of bipartite consensus of multi-agent systems. In the system setting, discrete-time double-integrator dynamics are assumed for the agent, and measurement noise is present for the agent receiving the state information from its neighbors. Time-varying stochastic bipartite consensus protocols are designed in order to lessen the harmful effects of the noise. Consequently, the state transition matrix of the closed-loop system is analyzed, and sufficient and necessary conditions for the proposed protocol to be a mean square bipartite consensus protocol are given with the help of linear transformation and algebraic graph theory. It is proven that the signed digraph to be structurally balanced and having a spanning tree are the weakest communication assumptions for ensuring bipartite consensus. In particular, the proposed protocol is a mean square bipartite average consensus one if the signed digraph is also weight balanced.
