Ionospheric vertical total electron content prediction model in low-latitude regions based on long short-term memory neural network

Ionosphere delay is one of the main sources of noise affecting global navigation satellite systems, operation of radio detection and ranging systems and very-long-baseline-interferometry. One of the most important and common methods to reduce this phase delay is to establish accurate nowcasting and forecasting ionospheric total electron content models. For forecasting models, compared to mid-to-high latitudes, at low latitudes, an active ionosphere leads to extreme differences between long-term prediction models and the actual state of the ionosphere. To solve the problem of low accuracy for long-term prediction models at low latitudes, this article provides a low-latitude, long-term ionospheric prediction model based on a multi-input-multi-output, long-short-term memory neural network. To verify the feasibility of the model, we first made predictions of the vertical total electron content data 24 and 48 hours in advance for each day of July 2020 and then compared both the predictions corresponding to a given day, for all days. Furthermore, in the model modification part, we selected historical data from June 2020 for the validation set, determined a large offset from the results that were predicted to be active, and used the ratio of the mean absolute error of the detected results to that of the predicted results as a correction coefficient to modify our multi-input-multi-output long short-term memory model. The average root mean square error of the 24-hour-advance predictions of our modified model was 4.4 TECU, which was lower and better than5.1 TECU of the multi-input-multi-output, long short-term memory model and 5.9 TECU of the IRI-2016 model.

Serious accidents of mine hoists caused by high-speed sliding between friction lining and wire rope are often seen in coal *** order to solve this problem,we analyzed the contact characteristics between friction lining and wire *** we carried out a dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) to explain the change in mechanical properties of the friction lining as function of temperature and load frequency and found that temperature has a stronger effect on the mechanical properties than the *** used multiple regression analysis to obtain the thermoviscoelastic constitutive relations of the friction *** well we derived the analytic solution for the thermoviscoelastic contact radius and pressure by combining the theory of viscoelastic contact mechanics with thermoviscoelastic constitutive relations.

Simvastatin improves olanzapine-induced dyslipidemia in rats through inhibiting hepatic mTOR signaling pathway

Second-generation antipsychotic drug(SGA)-induced metabolic abnormalities,such as dyslipidemia,are a major clinical problem for antipsychotic *** evidences have shown the efficacy of statins in reducing SGA-induced dyslipidemia,but the underlying mechanisms are *** this study,we explored whether mTOR signaling was involved in olanzapine(OLZ)-induced dyslipidemia as well as the lipid-lowering effects of cotreatment of simvastatin(Sim)in *** rats received OLZ(1.0 mg/kg,t.i.d.)for 7 weeks;from the third week a group of model rats were cotreatment of Sim(3.0 mg/kg,t.i.d.)for 5 *** found that OLZ treatment significantly increased the plasma triglyceride(TG)and total cholesterol(TC)levels,and promoted lipid accumulation in the liver,whereas cotreatment of Sim reversed OLZ-induced *** mTORC1 and p-mTORC1 expression was accelerated in the OLZ treatment group,with upregulation of mRNA expression of sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 c(SREBP1 c)and its target genes,whereas these alterations were ameliorated by Sim *** HepG2 cells,rapamycin(a mTOR inhibitor)significantly reduced the OLZ-stimulated hepatocellular lipid contents and weakened the ability of Sim to lower lipids via a mechanism associated with the upregulation of SREBP1 c-mediated de novo *** data suggest that OLZ induces lipid accumulation in both plasma and liver,and Sim ameliorates OLZ-induced lipid metabolic dysfunction through its effects on mTOR signaling via reducing SREBP1 c activation and the downregulation of gene expression involved in *** data provide a new insight into the prevention of metabolic side effects induced by antipsychotic drugs.

Doping and coating are frequently employed for the improvement of the properties of Ni-rich NCM *** this work,we prepared stable LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)materials modified withY_(2)O_(3)via a wet chemical *** order to investigate the action mechanism ofY_(2)O_(3)on NCM811,we analyzed the micro structures using X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Also,to study the electrochemical performances,we conducted a charge/discharge test and cyclic *** results show thatY_(2)O_(3)modified NCM811 materials have good thermal stability,and proper content ofY_(2)O_(3)can effectively prevent the materials from damaging and significantly improve the electrochemical properties of the ***,1%Y2 O3 modified NCM811 material show much better cycling performance than other *** cycling at 1.0 C the 1%Y2 O3 modified NCM811 shows capacity retention of 90.1%after 100 cycles,which is higher than 69.4%for pristine *** examined the microstructures of the materials before and after *** the SEM results,we conclude that structural changes are among the key factors that lead to the degradation of the electrochemical properties of materials.

Metal matrix composites tiles based on Ti-6Al-4V(Ti64)alloy,reinforced with 10,20,and 40(vol%)of either TiC or TiB particles were made using press-and-sinter blended elemental powder metallurgy(BEPM)and then bonded together into 3-layer laminated plates using hot isostatic pressing(HIP).The laminates were ballistically tested and demonstrated superior *** microstructure and properties of the laminates were analyzed to determine the effect of the BEPM and HIP processing on the ballistic properties of the layered *** effect of porosity in sintered composites on further diffusion bonding of the plates during HIP is analyzed to understand the bonding features at the interfaces between different adjacent layers in the *** ballistic performance of fabricated structures was explained by a significant reduction in the residual porosity of the BEPM products by their additional processing using HIP,which provides an unprecedented increase in the hardness of the layered *** is argued that the combination of the used two technologies,BEPM and HIP is principally complimentary for the materials in question with the abilities to solve the essential problems of each used individually.
