Using MsfNet to Predict the ISUP Grade of Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma in Digital Pathology Images

Clear cell renal cell carcinoma(ccRCC)represents the most frequent form of renal cell carcinoma(RCC),and accurate International Society of Urological Pathology(ISUP)grading is crucial for prognosis and treatment *** study presents a new deep network called Multi-scale Fusion Network(MsfNet),which aims to enhance the automatic ISUP grade of ccRCC with digital histopathology pathology *** MsfNet overcomes the limitations of traditional ResNet50 by multi-scale information fusion and dynamic allocation of channel *** model was trained and tested using 90 Hematoxylin and Eosin(H&E)stained whole slide images(WSIs),which were all cropped into 320×320-pixel patches at 40×*** achieved a micro-averaged area under the curve(AUC)of 0.9807,a macro-averaged AUC of 0.9778 on the test *** Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping(Grad-CAM)visually demonstrated MsfNet’s ability to distinguish and highlight abnormal areas more effectively than *** t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding(t-SNE)plot indicates our model can efficiently extract critical features from images,reducing the impact of noise and redundant *** results suggest that MsfNet offers an accurate ISUP grade of ccRCC in digital images,emphasizing the potential of AI-assisted histopathological systems in clinical practice.

Floquet engineering has attracted considerable attention as a promising approach for tuning topological phase *** investigate the effects of high-frequency time-periodic driving in a four-dimensional(4D)topological insulator,focusing on topological phase transitions at the off-resonant quasienergy *** 4D topological insulator hosts gapless three-dimensional boundary states,characterized by the second Chern number C_(2).We demonstrate that the second Chern number of 4D topological insulators can be modulated by tuning the amplitude of time-periodic *** includes transitions from a topological phase with C_(2)=±3 to another topological phase with C_(2)=±1,or to a topological phase with an even second Chern number C_(2)=±2,which is absent in the 4D static ***,the approximation theory in the high-frequency limit further confirms the numerical conclusions.

With the continuous miniaturization of electronic devices,microelectromechanical system(MEMS)oscillators that can be combined with integrated circuits have attracted increasing *** study reports a MEMS Huygens clock based on the synchronization principle,comprising two synchronized MEMS oscillators and a frequency compensation *** MEMS Huygens clock improved shorttime stability,improving the Allan deviation by a factor of 3.73 from 19.3 to 5.17 ppb at 1 s.A frequency compensation system based on the MEMS oscillator’s temperature-frequency characteristics was developed to compensate for the frequency shift of the MEMS Huygens clock by controlling the resonator *** effectively improved the long-term stability of the oscillator,with the Allan deviation improving by 1.6343105 times to 30.9 ppt at 6000 *** power consumption for compensating both oscillators simultaneously is only 2.85 mW·℃^(-1).Our comprehensive solution scheme provides a novel and precise engineering solution for achieving high-precision MEMS oscillators and extends synchronization applications in MEMS.

The hydrocarbon generation potential of the Campano-Maastrichtian to Paleogene shales from the Benin Flank(located in SW Nigeria)of the Anambra Basin,has been previously investigated mostly by studying outcrops and by relatively few subsurface data-based ***,it is expedient undertaking an assessment of the hydrocarbon generation potential of this frontier area from subsurface ***-Maastrichtian to Paleogene shale samples obtained from Egoli-1 borehole in the Benin Flank of the Anambra Basin are studied by means of HAWK programmed pyrolysis,organic petrography,and mineralogy(XRD),with the aim to explore the petroleum-generating potential and the thermal *** obtained results display a significant variation of the TOC content ranging from very low(5%),indicating poor to excellent oil potential based on S_(2)values under the condition,of course,the studied formations reached the oil *** shales of the Nsukka and Imo Formations display lower petroleum-generating potential than these of the Mamu *** the studied samples are dominated by gas-prone(type III)and inert(type IV)kerogens,with few displaying mixed II/III(oil-and gas-prone).The organic-petrography observations support partly the results of the HAWK programmed pyrolysis,as they reveal an organic-richer Mamu Formation in comparison to the Nsukka and Imo Formations;huminite/vitrinite particles(both indigenous and recycled)along with variable contents of liptinite(mostly alginite and bituminite)and inertinite macerals(mostly inertodetrinite)are hosted in the *** latter display a typical composition for fine-grained clastic sediments;mostly kaolinite,illite/montmorillonite,quartz,and subordinately,*** terms of thermal maturity,huminite/vitrinite reflectance data points to immature stage;however,the occurrence of solid bitumens,displaying equivalent vitrinite reflectance values within the oil window,points to an active petroleum system in s

The utilization of mobile edge computing(MEC)for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)communication presents a viable solution for achieving high reliability and low latency *** study explores the potential of employing intelligent reflective surfaces(IRS)andUAVs as relay nodes to efficiently offload user computing tasks to theMEC server system ***,the user node accesses the primary user spectrum,while adhering to the constraint of satisfying the primary user peak interference ***,the UAV acquires energy without interrupting the primary user’s regular communication by employing two energy harvesting schemes,namely time switching(TS)and power splitting(PS).The selection of the optimal UAV is based on the maximization of the instantaneous signal-to-noise ***,the analytical expression for the outage probability of the system in Rayleigh channels is derived and *** study investigates the impact of various system parameters,including the number of UAVs,peak interference power,TS,and PS factors,on the system’s outage performance through *** proposed system is also compared to two conventional benchmark schemes:the optimal UAV link transmission and the IRS link *** simulation results validate the theoretical derivation and demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme over the benchmark schemes.

As semiconductor devices shrink and their manufacturing processes advance,accurately measuring in-cell critical dimensions(CD)becomes increasingly *** test element group(TEG)measurements are becoming inadequate for representing the fine,repetitive patterns in cell *** non-destructive metrology technologies like optical critical dimension(OCD)are limited due to their large spot diameter of approximately 25μm,which impedes their efficacy for detailed in-cell structural ***,there is a pressing need for small-spot and non-destructive metrology *** address this limitation,we demonstrate a microsphere-assisted hyperspectral imaging(MAHSI)system,specifically designed for small spot optical metrology with *** microsphere-assisted super-resolution imaging,this system achieves an optical resolution of 66 nm within a field of view of 5.6μm×5.6μ*** approach effectively breaks the diffraction limit,significantly enhancing the magnification of the *** MAHSI system incorporating hyperspectral imaging with a wavelength range of 400–790 nm,enables the capture of the reflection spectrum at each camera *** achieved pixel resolution,which is equivalent to the measuring spot size,is 14.4 nm/pixel and the magnification is *** MAHSI system enables measurement of local uniformity in critical areas like corners and edges of DRAM cell blocks,areas previously challenging to inspect with conventional OCD *** our knowledge,this approach represents the first global implementation of microsphere-assisted hyperspectral imaging to address the metrology challenges in complex 3D structures of semiconductor devices.

The oxidation behavior of a novel Ni-based single-crystal 4774DD1 superalloy for industrial gas turbine applications was investigated by the isothermal oxidation at 980℃ and discontinuous oxidation weight gain *** phase constitution and morphology of surface oxides and the characteristics of the crosssection oxide film were analyzed by XRD,SEM and *** show that the oxidation kinetics of the 4774DD1 superalloy follows the cubic law,indicating its weak oxidation resistance at this *** the oxidation time increases,the composition of the oxide film evolves as following:One layer consisting of a bottom Al_(2)O_(3)sublayer and an upper(Al_(2)O_(3)+NiO)mixture sublayer after oxidized for 25 ***,two layers composed of an outermost small NiO discontinuous grain layer and an internal layer for 75 *** internal layer is consisted of the bottom Al_(2)O_(3)sublayer,an intermediate narrow CrTaO_(4)sublayer,and an upper(Al_(2)O_(3)+NiO)mixture *** two layers comprising an outermost relative continuous NiO layer with large grain size and an internal layer as the oxidation time increases to 125 *** internal layer is composed of the upper(Al_(2)O_(3)+NiO)mixture sublayer,an intermediate continuous(CrTaO_(4)+NiWO_(4))mixture sublayer,and a bottom Al_(2)O_(3)***,three layers consisting of an outermost(NiAl2O_(4)+NiCr2O_(4))mixture layer,an intermediate(CrTaO_(4)+NiWO_(4))mixture layer,and a bottom Al_(2)O_(3)layer for 200 h.
