This work addresses observer design for the general class of quasi-reversible discrete-time switched linear *** the mild assumption that the switched system is observable,we present constructive approaches to design state observers to estimate the *** types of observers are designed:one is with full order and the other is with reduced order,both could reconstruct the system state in finite times.A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.

The development of intelligent algorithms for controlling autonomous mobile robots in real-time activities has increased dramatically in recent ***,conventional intelligent algorithms currently fail to accurately predict unexpected obstacles involved in tour paths and thereby suffer from inefficient tour *** present study addresses these issues by proposing a potential field integrated pruned adaptive resonance theory(PPART)neural network for effectively managing the touring process of autonomous mobile robots in *** proposed system is implemented using the AlphaBot platform,and the performance of the system is evaluated according to the obstacle prediction accuracy,path detection accuracy,time-lapse,tour length,and the overall accuracy of the *** proposed system provide a very high obstacle prediction accuracy of 99.61%.Accordingly,the proposed tour planning design effectively predicts unexpected obstacles in the environment and thereby increases the overall efficiency of tour navigation.

The present study addresses the problem of fault estimation for a specific class of nonlinear time-varying complex networks,utilizing an unknown-input-observer approach within the framework of dynamic event-triggered mechanism(DETM).In order to optimize communication resource utilization,the DETM is employed to determine whether the current measurement data should be transmitted to the estimator or *** guarantee a satisfactory estimation performance for the fault signal,an unknown-input-observer-based estimator is constructed to decouple the estimation error dynamics from the influence of fault *** aim of this paper is to find the suitable estimator parameters under the effects of DETM such that both the state estimates and fault estimates are confined within two sets of closed ellipsoid *** techniques of recursive matrix inequality are applied to derive sufficient conditions for the existence of the desired estimator,ensuring that the specified performance requirements are met under certain ***,the estimator gains are derived by minimizing the ellipsoid domain in the sense of trace and a recursive estimator parameter design algorithm is then ***,a numerical example is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed estimator.

The long-standing severe power shortage in China has provoked much debate on whether China should further promote market-oriented electricity reform. The present paper addresses this issue by analyzing the impacts of deregulation of the electricity generation sector and retailing activities on other sectors, the macroeconomy and electricity users. A countetfactual scenario analysis is used based on a simplified computable general equilibrium framework. We find that deregulation can significantly improve the efficiency of electricity production, increase employment and enhance household welfare. These nontrivial findings can help to resolve many controversies about governmental intervention during China＇s economic transition. Our findings have two implications relating to policy feasibility and applicability; that is, competition in the electricity retail market shouM be phased in, and the necessary arrangements for unemployment in incumbent firms shouM be considered.

Foundational concepts of trait spaces, including phenotypic plasticity and function of traits, should be expanded and better integrated with ecological theory. This article addresses two areas where plasticity theory can become further integrated with ecological, evolutionary, and developmental thinking. First is the idea that not only trait means within environments and plasticity of trait means across environments is optimized by selection, but that the entire shape of phenotype distributions such as variance or skew should be optimized within and across environments. In order for trait distribution shape to evolve into adaptations, there must be a genetic basis for and selection upon variation in distribution shapes and their plasticities. I present published and new data demonstrating genetic control and selection for higher moments of phenotype distributions; though, plasticity in these values has not yet been tested. Genetic control of phenotype distribution moments is shown for Neurospora crassa ascospore size and shape. Selection on trait distribution moments is shown for Eurosta solidaginis gall size. Second, there is a tradition in modeling plasti- city as an adaptive strategy that pits it as an alternative to ecological specialization or generaliza- tion. However, these strategies need not be considered alternatives. Rather, with environmental fluctuation within generations plasticity may produce additive or non-additive intermediate （gener- alist） phenotypes, or something new altogether. I present published and new data on the snail Physa virgata and fish Gambusia affinis that show plasticity produces partly intermediate （general- ist） and partly unique phenotypic elements in mixed and fluctuating environments. Plasticity can thus be viewed in the context of a broader trait space and as having broader ecological roles than currently is conceived.

By combining common Lyapunov function and finite-time Lyapunov function, some conditions for uniform finite-time stability of a class of switched nonlinear system are provided. Finally, we present a numerical example to verify the obtained result.

Any potential damage may be severe once an accident occurs involving hazardous *** is therefore important to consider the risk factor concerning hazardous material supply chains,in order to make the best inventory routing *** paper addresses the problem of hazardous material multi-period inventory routing with the assumption of a limited production capacity of a given *** goal is to achieve the manufacturer's production plan,the retailer's supply schedule and the transportation routes within a fixed *** the distribution of hazardous materials over a certain period is essentially a multiple travelling salesmen problem,the authors formulate a loadingdependent risk model for multiple-vehicle transportation and present an integer programming model to maximize the supply chain *** improved genetic algorithm considering two dimensions of chromosomes that cover the aforementioned period and supply quantity is devised to handle the integer programming *** experiments carried out demonstrate that using the proposed multiperiod joint decision-making can significantly increase the overall profit of the supply chain as compared to the use of single period decision repeatedly,while effectively reducing its risk.
