The aim of present study was to use QbD approaches to evaluate the effect of independent product variables and their interaction on particle size of sodium fluoride and then obtain the optimized experimental condition for predefined particle size of sodium fluoride. The sodium fluoride is mainly used in dental preparation for delivering the fluoride ion to the tooth enamel for that nano-particle size is required. Nowadays the milling process is used to reduce the particle size. But that process has some limitations due to crystalline nature of sodium fluoride;for overcoming those limitations, lyophilization method is used. A 43 level full factorial design was used to study the significant influence of process and product variables i.e. 1) Concentration of sodium fluoride, 2) Concentration of PVP, 3) Sample volume, 4) Drying surface, on particle size of sodium fluoride. The experimental design result shows that independent product variables significantly modify the structure and improve particle size reduction of sodium fluoride.

Background:The distance from the inferior border of mental foramen(MF)to lower border of mandible remains constant throughout the *** this fact the present study was carried out to determine role of MF in age and gender estimation and also its importance in planning various *** and Objective:(1)To determine the most common type and shape of MF 2)To measure the height of the mandibular body(H),the distance between the superior margin of the MF to the alveolar crest(SM-AC),the distance between the superior margin of the MF to the inferior border of the mandible(SM-IB),the distance between the inferior margin of the MF to the inferior border(IM-IB)on the right side and left side.(3)To compare the above measurements for age and gender determination.(4)To determine effect of various factors on above measurements(5)to evaluate whether any significant difference in measurement occurs on right and left side.(6)To derive a regression equation for age *** and Methods:A total of 300 Orthopantomogram were *** such as H,SM-AC,SM-IB and IM-IB were carried out on both sides on type II MF in males and females in all the six age *** analysis was carried using IBM SPSS version 24 to determine differences in measurements and linear regression analysis was carried out to determine age of ***:The most common appearance of MF was type II and shape was *** significant differences occurred in measurements using which regressive equation for age estimation was derived for males&***:MF,being a stable landmark in mandible,serves as a good indicator for the determination of age and ***,using certain measurements related to MF,it can help in determining the age of the ***,its position and distance from the alveolar crest serve as a guide for orthognathic surgeries,implant placement,and pre-prosthetic surgery.

In many industrial applications,heat transfer and tangent hyperbolic fluid flow processes have been garnering increasing attention,owing to their immense importance in technology,engineering,and *** processes are relevant for polymer solutions,porous industrial materials,ceramic processing,oil recovery,and fluid *** present tangent hyperbolic fluid flow and heat transfer model accurately predicts the shear-thinning phenomenon and describes the blood flow ***,the entropy production analysis of a non-Newtonian tangent hyperbolic material flow through a vertical microchannel with a quadratic density temperature fluctuation(quadratic/nonlinear Boussinesq approximation)is performed in the present *** impacts of the hydrodynamic flow and Newton’s thermal conditions on the flow,heat transfer,and entropy generation are *** governing nonlinear equations are solved with the spectral quasi-linearization method(SQLM).The obtained results are compared with those calculated with a finite element method and the bvp4c *** addition,the effects of key parameters on the velocity of the hyperbolic tangent material,the entropy generation,the temperature,and the Nusselt number are *** entropy generation increases with the buoyancy force,the pressure gradient factor,the non-linear convection,and the Eckert *** non-Newtonian fluid factor improves the magnitude of the velocity *** power-law index of the hyperbolic fluid and the Weissenberg number are found to be favorable for increasing the temperature *** buoyancy force caused by the nonlinear change in the fluid density versus temperature improves the thermal energy of the system.

High quality polytene chromosome maps （n=3） of a Himalayan Simuliid Simulium praelargum Datta, 1973 are presented and represent the first cytological description of a taxon found in the feuerborni group, subgenus Nevermannia. Polytene chromosomes one （I） and two （II） are metacentric, chromosome three （III） is submetacentric with the length of each chromosome occupying 37.25 %, 31.36 % and 31.34 % of the total complement length, respectively. Typical simuliid diagnostic intergeneric chromosomal markers are found within the polytene complement of this species. The nucleolar organizer （N.O.） is found at the base of the short arm of chromosome one （IS）, the Ring of Balbiani （R.B.）, double bubble （D.B.） and triad occur in the short arm of chromosome two （IIS）, the Parabalbiani Ring （EB.） and grey band （gb） occur in the long arm of chromosome two （IIL） and the Blister （BL） and Capsule （Ca） occur in the short arm of chromosome three （IIIS）.Terminal bands at the end of IIIS are heterochromatinized and present atypically with respect to other simuliid fauna. Populations studied so far are unique among the Simuliidae in that they exhibit chromosome structural monomorphism. These high resolution polytene chromosome maps will form the basis for future cytological characterization and phylogenetic comparisons amongst members of the feuerborni group

Methotrexate(MTX)is one of the most consumed anti-cancer drugs in the pharmaceutical market around the *** widespread occurrence of MTX in aquatic environment through hospital effluent has attracted increasing concern due to its potential to induce water *** the present study,the degradation of MTX in aqueous medium was investigated by UV-activated peroxymonosulfate(PMS).A significant improvement in degradation rate by increasing UV intensity and PMS concentration while the decrease in degradation efficiency with the increase of solution p H and initial concentration of MTX was *** proposed UV/PMS process could achieve more than 90%MTX degradation in 30 min with a good mineralization degree(65%).A pseudofirst order kinetic model was employed and successfully predicted the degradation of *** effect of other operational parameters such as the initial concentration of the targeted compound,dosage of oxidant(PMS),solution p H and UV intensity on the degradation rate were *** the last,the main transform intermediates were identified using LC–MS and possible degradation pathways were *** results show that UV/PMS can be used as an efficient technology to treat pharmaceuticals such as methotrexate containing water and wastewater.

Purpose: The main goal of this study is to outline and analyze the Danish adoption and translation of the Norwegian Publication Indicator. Design/methodology/approach: The study takes the form of a policy analysis mainly drawing on document analysis of policy papers, previously published studies and grey literature. Findings: The study highlights a number of crucial factors that relate both to the Danish process and to the final Danish result underscoring that the Danish BFI model is indeed a quite different system than its Norwegian counterpart. One consequence of these process-and design differences is the fact that the broader legitimacy of the Danish BFI today appears to be quite poor. Reasons for this include: unclear and shifting objectives throughout the process; limited willingness to take ownership of the model among stakeholders; lack of communication throughout the implementation process and an apparent underestimation of the challenges associated with the use of bibliometric indicators. Research limitation: The conclusions of the study are based on the authors’ interpretation of a long drawn and complex process with many different stakeholders involved. The format of this article does not allow for a detailed documentation of all elements, but further details can be provided upon request. Practical implications: The analysis may feed into current policy discussions on the future of the Danish BFI. Originality/value: Some elements of the present analysis have previously been published in Danish outlets, but this article represents the first publication on this issue targeting a broader international audience.

The present study was carried out at two different gradients of unbumt and burnt Anogeissus latifolia forest sites in the Garhwal region, India. At each gradient, the unburnt and burnt forest sites were further categorized into three different elevations, i.e., lower （700 m）, middle （850 m） and upper （1000 m）. At each elevation, the density of trees, saplings and seedlings was higher at the unburnt sites except for trees at the upper elevation which was higher at the burnt sites. The total basal area of each layer of for- est was also higher at the unburnt sites. The study revealed that the lower number of saplings and seedlings at the burnt forest sites might be due to the effect of fire. Most trees in the lower dbh classes were affected by forest fire at the burnt sites which reduced the total density and total basal area of the trees compared to the unburnt sites. The diversity of trees increased with increasing elevation. However, the diversity of saplings and seedlings reduced with increasing elevation.

Fermentation Kinetics of Media Optimization for the Production of Alpha Amylase by a New Isolate of Aspergillus Oryzae

The present study is concerned with the isolation and screening of different strains of Aspergillus oryzae for the production of alpha amylase. Ninety strains were isolated from soil and tested for the production of alpha amylase in shake flasks. Of all the strains tested, Aspergillus oryzae GCB-32 and Aspergillus oryzae GCB-35 gave maximum production of alpha amylase. Different culture media were screened for the production of alpha amylase by these two strains. M1 medium containing starch, yeast extract, NH4Cl, MgSO4·7H2O and CaCl2 gave the maximum production of alpha amylase by both the strains Aspergillus oryzae GCB-32 and Aspergillus oryzae *** analysis revealed that the values of product yield coefficient（Y p/x ） and specific product yield coefficient（qp） were found highly significant（p≤0.05） when medium M1 was used for the enzyme production.
