Random integration of massive distributed photovoltaic (PV) generation poses serious challenges to distribution networks. Voltage violations, line overloads, increased peak–valley differences, and power-flow reversals can occur at different locations, times, and severities. Traditional planning methods such as energy storage (ES) allocation and upgrading of lines may result in poor economics and low equipment utilization. This study proposes a distribution-network planning strategy that coordinates three planning mechanisms:ES allocation to substations and to feeders, and line upgrading. The proposed strategy achieved the lowest annual cost, considering the distribution network problems at different locations, times, and severities. A net load curve description method was first proposed considering economic planning and the uncertain distribution of loads and PVs. Second, a multistage optimization model for ES allocation and line upgrading was established based on the net load curves. Finally, an improved IEEE33 node system was used in the case study. The planning results show that the proposed coordinated planning strategy can address the problems caused by the random integration of massive distributed PVs, improve equipment utilization, and obtain the lowest total annual planning cost.

The influence of pH and metallographic structure on the corrosion behavior of copper-drawn steel is studied with the simulated *** effect of pH on the corrosion behavior of copper-drawn steel has been investigated using open-circuit potential,potentiodynamic polarization,galvanic current measurement,scanning electron microscopy and scanning vibrating electrode technique *** steel is corroded as anode,while the corrosion of copper plate is protected as *** the results revealed that pH and metallographic structure had a significant influence on the corrosion behavior of copper-drawn *** the decrease in pH value from 6 to 2.4,the corrosion rate of copper-drawn steel galvanic couple(Cu-Fe GC)obviously increased in the simulated solution of acidic red *** electric field formed by the Cu-Fe GC changes the direction of ion migration between the copper and drawn steel electrodes,which impacts the composition and microstructure of corrosion products formed on the electrode surface.

In northern China,thermal power units(TPUs)are important in improving the penetration level of renewable *** such areas,the potentials of coordinated dispatch of renewable energy sources(RESs)and TPUs can be better realized,if RESs and TPUs connected to the power grid at the same point of common coupling(PCC)are dispatched as a coupled ***,the definition of the coupled system is introduced,followed by an analysis on its ***,based on the operation characteristics of deep peak regulation(DPR)of TPUs in the coupled system,the constraint of the ladder-type ramping rate applicable for day-ahead dispatch is proposed,and the corresponding flexible spinning reserve constraint is further ***,considering these constraints and peak regulation ancillary services,a day-ahead optimal dispatch model of the coupled system is ***,the operational characteristics and advantages of the coupled system are analyzed in several case studies based on a real-world power grid in liaoning province,*** numerical results show that the coupled system can further improve the economic benefits of RESs and TPUs under the existing policies.

The effects of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7) on corrosion behavior of Q235 steel in resistance reducing agent(RRA)containing sodium bentonite were studied by mass loss,scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical *** results showed that both the independent and mixed additions of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and/or Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7),can reduce the corrosion rate of Q235 steel in RRA containing sodium *** the inhibition effect of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and/or Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7)increased with their dosage *** the same dosage,the inhibition efficiency of the mixed addition of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7),was higher than that of their independent *** passivation effect of Q235 steel was easy to obtain in the RRA with the mixed addition of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7).The optimized inhibitor for the RRA containing sodium bentonite was the mixture of Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7) and Na_(2)MoO_(4) with a total concentration of 1.5 wt.%.Furthermore,the increase in corrosion potential E_(corr) and the decrease in corrosion current density i_(cor) in carbon steel were one of the important criteria for the formation of passivation film.

This paper proposes a new method to predict the corona onset voltage for a rod- plane air gap, based on the support vector machine （SVM）. Because the SVM is not limited by the size, dimension and nonlinearity of the samples, this method can realize accurate prediction with few training data. Only electric field features are chosen as the input; no geometric parameter is included. Therefore, the experiment data of one kind of electrode can be used to predict the corona onset voltages of other electrodes with different sizes. With the experimental data obtained by ozone detection technology, and experimental data provided by the reference, the efficiency of the proposed method is validated. Accurate predicted results with an average relative less than 3% are obtained with only 6 experimental data.

Non-intrusive load monitoring is a technique for monitoring the operating conditions of electrical appliances by collecting the aggregated electrical information at the household power *** several studies on the mining of unique load characteristics,few studies have extensively considered the high computational burden and sample *** on lowfrequency sampling data,a non-intrusive load monitoring algorithm utilizing the graph total variation(GTV)is proposed in this *** algorithm can effectively depict the load state without the need for prior ***,the combined Kmeans clustering algorithm and graph signals are used to build concise and accurate graph structures as load *** GTV representing the internal structure of the graph signal is introduced as the optimization model and solved using the augmented Lagrangian iterative *** introduction of the difference operator reduces the computing cost and addresses the inaccurate reconstruction of the graph *** low-frequency sampling data,the algorithm only requires a little prior data and no training,thereby reducing the computing *** conducted using the reference energy disaggregation dataset and almanac of minutely power dataset demonstrated the stable superiority of the algorithm and its low computational burden.

Historically,streamer-to-leader transition studies mainly focused on the rod-plane gap and low altitude analysis,with limited attention paid to the sphere-plane gap at high altitude *** this work,sphere-plane gap discharge tests were carried out under the gap distance of 5 m at the Qinghai Ultra High Voltage(UHV)test base at an altitude of 2200 *** experiments measured the physical parameters such as the discharge current,electric field intensity and instantaneous optical *** duration of the dark period and the critical charge of streamer-toleader transition were obtained at high *** on radial thermal expansion of the streamer stem,we established a modified streamer-to-leader transition model of the sphere-plane gap discharge at high altitude,and calculated the stem temperature,stem radii and the duration of streamer-to-leader *** with the measured duration of sphere-plane electrode discharge at an altitude of 2200 m,the error rate of the modified model was 0.94%,while the classical model was 6.97%,demonstrating the effectiveness of the modified *** the comparisons and analysis,several suggestions are proposed to improve the numerical model for further quantitative investigations of the leader inception.

As a very major part in the power grid, it is more and more important to monitor the temperature for the junctions of High Voltage Switchgear, Bus Connector, Outdoor Knife Switch and other important equipments in the Transformer Substation. In this article, based on the actual complex and changeable monitoring environment, we designed Temperature Monitoring System for the Transformer Substation, and expounded the structural design of the system, the hardware design of monitoring device, the process design of the system software, the choice and application of wireless communication protocols in the system, and the comparison and choice of three commonly used antenna. We also compared the Battery-powered and Induction-powered in the technical conditions in this stage, analyzed the actual performance of the two main power supply mode and gave the power design for the Temperature Monitoring System.

With the continuous expansion of the scale of renewable energy installation,the demand for energy storage has increased ***,there are significant differences in the value of energy storage in different scenarios,and the phenomenon of diminishing marginal benefits of energy storage is becoming more ***,themulti-dimensional value evolution trend of energy storage has become a key *** study selects indicators from three dimensions of energy storage:low-carbon emission reduction,smoothing wind and solar power fluctuations,and saving generation costs,quantifying the economic,environmental,and technical values of energy *** forms a quantitative evaluation system for energy storage *** comparing the calculated system values under different energy storage capacities,the marginal value evolution trend of energy storage is ***,considering factors such as the utilization rate of renewable energy,the change in energy storage value under different scenarios is *** results show that the value of long-duration energy storage is significantly affected by the energy storage ***,when the charge-discharge efficiency of longduration energy storage reaches 0.6 or above,the system value increases ***,appropriately reducing the cost of energy storage capacity also helps to improve its system value.
