Precipitation is very important for both the environment and its inhabitants. Agricultural activities mostly depend on precipitation and its availability. Therefore, the ability to predict future precipitation values at specific stations is key for environmental and agricultural decision making. This research developed Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) models for selected stations with Integrated component and Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) for selected stations without Integrated component at Louisiana State. The ARIMA module is represented as ARIMA(p, d, q)(P,D,Q). The selected lag order for the Autoregressive (AR) component is represented with p and P for seasonal AR component, while the integrated form (number of times data were differenced) is d and D for seasonal differencing, and the Moving Average (MA) lag order is q and Q for seasonal MA component. Data from 1950 to 2020 were employed in this research. Results of the analysis indicated that Baton Rouge (ARIMA (0,1,1) (0,0,2)12), Abbeville (ARMA (0,0,1) (0,0,2)12), Monroe Regional (ARMA (0,0,1) (0,0,0)12), New Orleans Airport (ARMA (1,0,0) (0,0,2)12), Alexandria (ARMA (1,0,1) (0,0,0)12), Logansport (ARIMA (0,1,2) (0,0,0)12), New Orleans Audubon (ARMA (1,0,0) (0,0,0)12), Lake Charles Airport (ARMA (2,0,2) (0,0,0)

[Objective] The paper was to explore the inhibitory effect of mixed biogas slurry-pesticide formulation against Alternaria solani Sorauer. [Method] Different concentrations of Triadimefon, Hekang, Yibao, Propamocarb hydrochloride and Jinggangmycin were mixed with biogas slurry, and their inhibitory effects were determined by the methods of mycelial inhibition and spore germination. [Result] Mycelial inhibition study showed that mixed formulation of Propamocarb hydrochloride owned the highest inhibition efficiency, and its EC50 value was 3 mg/L. For spore germination, the inhibitory effects of the tested formulations were almost the same as CK, but Hekang and Jinggangmycin had relatively stronger inhibitory effect. The inhibitory effect of mixed formulations with water as solvent was significant. Five kinds of agro-chemicals mixed with biogas slurry had much stronger inhibition effect against the growth of mycelium than that on spore germination. [Conclusion] This study laid foundations for the development of neo-pesticide.

[ Objective] The study aimed to understand the status of piglet diarrhea virus in large-scale farms in surrounding areas of Beijing. [ Method] By collecting 570 umbilical cord blood samples of diseased pigs, nucleic acids of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus （PRRSV） , classical swine fever virus （CSFV）, porcine pseudorabies virus （PRV）, porcine circovirus （PCV）, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus （PEDV）, transmissible gastroenteritis virus （TGEV）, and porcine rotavirus （RV） were detected by PCR or RT-PCR assay. [Result] The detection rates of PRRSV, PCV-2, PEI）V, PPV, TGEV, PRV, RV and CSFV were 38.7%, 29.6%, 21.8%, 13.03%, 5.6%, 4.2%, 3.8% and 1.7%, respectively. [ Conclusion] The major pathogens were PRRSV, PCV-2, PEDV and PPV, and mixed infection was serious.

Sugars are frequently and abundantly found in root exudates,but influence of specific sugars on the fate of soil-borne pathogens,microbiome structure,and particularly microbial interactions are not well understood.A 42-day of microcosm incubation was conducted with two soils:a natural watermelon Fusarium wilt pathogen(i.e.,Fusarium oxysporum ***(FON))-infested soil(Low-FON soil)and the soil further receiving the wilt pathogen inocula(High-FON soil).Both soils were supplemented with four simple sugars before *** results show that,in both soils,FON was enriched by all sugars although co-living with tremendously diverse microbes;and bacterial richness,evenness,and diversity were decreased and bacterial community structure was changed by all *** richness and evenness were negatively correlated with FON quantity in both Low-FON and High-FON soils,indicating that FON may tend to live in soil with low *** both Low-FON and High-FON soils,the sugar-spiked networks had more links,higher density,larger modules,and shorter harmonic geodesic distance,suggesting greater potentials for microbial interaction and *** positive links between some of the keystone taxa and FON indicates that these keystone taxa may have promoted *** may be one of reasons why FON could proliferate vigorously after sugar supplementation.

The importance of sorting proteins and wall materials to their destination is critical for plant growth and development, though the machinery orchestrating membrane trafficking is poorly understood. Transporters that alter the environment across endomembrane compartments are thought to be important players. Using Escherichia coli and yeast, we previously showed that several Arabidopsis Cation/H＋ eXchanger （AtCHX） members were K＋ transporters with a role in pH homeostasis, though their subcellular location and biological roles in plants are unclear. Co-expression of markers with CHX16, CHX17, CHX18, or CHX19 tagged with a fluorescent protein indicated these transporters associated with plasma membrane （PM） and post-Golgi compartments. Under its native promoter, AtCHX17（l_820）-GFP localized to prevacuolar compartment （PVC） and to PM in roots. Brefeldin A diminished AtCHX17- GFP fluorescence at PM, whereas wortmannin caused formation of GFP-labeled ring-like structures, suggesting AtCHX17 trafficked among PVC, vacuole and PM. AtCHX17（1-472） lacking its carboxylic tail did not associate with PVC or PM in plant cells. Single chx17 mutant or higher-order mutants showed normal root growth and vegetative devel- opment. However, quadruple （chx16chx17chxlSchx19） mutants were reduced in frequency and produced 50%-70% fewer seeds, indicating overlapping roles of several AtCHX17-related transporters in reproduction and/or seed devel- opment. Together, our results suggest that successful reproduction and seed development depend on the ability to regulate cation and pH homeostasis by AtCHX17-1ike transporters on membranes that traffic in the endocytic and/or secretory pathways.

Nitrogen(N)addition has profound impacts on litter-mediated nutrient *** studies have reported different effects of N addition on litter decomposition,exhibiting positive,negative,or neutral *** meta-analysis of litter decomposition under N addition was mainly based on a small number of samples to allow comparisons among ecosystem *** study presents the results of a meta-analysis incorporating data from 53 published studies(including 617 observations)across forests,grasslands,wetlands,and croplands in China,to investigate how environmental and experimental factors impact the effects of N addition on litter *** across all of the studies,N addition significantly slows litter decomposition by 7.02%.Considering ecosystem types,N addition significantly accelerates litter decomposition by 3.70%and 11.22%in grasslands and wetlands,respectively,clearly inhibits litter decomposition by 14.53%in forests,and has no significant effects on litter decomposition in *** the accelerated litter decomposition rate in grasslands due to N addition,litter decomposition rate increases slightly with increasing rates of N ***,N addition slows litter decomposition in forests,but litter decomposition is at a significantly increasing rate with increasing amounts of N *** responses of litter decomposition to N addition are also influenced by the forms of N addition,experiential duration of N addition,humidity index,litter quality,and soil *** summary,N addition alters litter decomposition rate,but the direction and magnitude of the response are affected by the forms of N addition,the rate of N addition,ambient N deposition,experimental duration,and climate *** study highlights the contrasting effects of N addition on litter decomposition in forests and *** finding could be used in biogeochemical models to better evaluate ecosystem carbon cycling under increasing N deposition due to th
