Evaluation of the therapeutic significance of Glehniae Radix polysaccharides on the ulcerative colitis through DSS-induced rat model

Glehniae Radix has a wide range of pharmaceutical applications， and research on its main components has mainly focused on coumarins， alkaloids， lignans， and flavonoids， while neglecting the research on polysaccharides. Literature reports and our previous studies have shown that polysaccharides have certain therapeutic significance in immune regulation， antioxidant， anti-inflammatory and other aspects. Herein， the rat model of ulcerative colitis (UC) was established to evaluate the anti-inflammatory efficacy of the prepared Glehniae Radix polysaccharide (GLP) from the perspectives of inflammatory factors， intestinal tissue morphology， and microflora changes. The polysaccharides are mainly composed of galacturonic acid， rhamnose， glucose， galactose， and arabinose in molar ratios of 1.4:9.2:33.3:2.5:2.9， and GLP could downregulate the expression pro-inflammatory factors (interleukin-6， tumor necrosis factor-α， and interferon-γ) and significantly upregulate the expression of anti-inflammatory factor (interleukin-10). In addition， Glehniae Radix aqueous extract (GLA)， GLP with low dosage (GLPL) and GLP with high dosage (GLPH) could increase the number of goblet cells， enhance the integrity of crypt structure， and reverse the status of inflammatory infiltrating cells. Moreover， GLA and GLPH could upregulate Lactobacillus and Lachnoclostridium in UC rats， and appropriately downregulate Lachnospiraceae＿NK4A136＿group， thereby optimizing the proportion of bacterial flora and improving the intestinal microbial environment. Our findings not only be valuable as theoretical materials for the further clinical applications of GLP， but the identified biomarkers and metabolic pathways also provide new clues for the diagnosis of UC.

Preparation of AZ91D magnesium alloy semi-solid billet by new strain induced melt activated method

New strain induced melt activated (new SIMA) method for preparing AZ91D magnesium alloy semi-solid billet is introduced by applying equal channel angular extrusion into strain induced step in SIMA method, by which semi-solid billet with fine spheroidal grains and average grain size of 18 μm can be prepared. Furthermore, average grain size of semi-solid billet is reduced with increasing extrusion pass of AZ91D magnesium alloy obtained in ECAE process. By using semi-solid billet prepared by new SIMA, thixoforged magazine plates component with high mechanical properties such as yield strength of 201.4 MPa, ultimate tensile strength of 321.8 MPa and elongation of 15.3%, can be obtained.

Semisolid billet of AZ80 magnesium alloy was prepared by new strain induced melt activated (new SIMA) process and thixoforging experiment was *** results show that after as-cast AZ80 magnesium alloy is processed by equal channel angular extrusion, microstructure is refined well due to heavy dynamic recrystallization occurring in severe plastic *** with semisolid isothermal treatment and conventional SIMA, semisolid billet with fine and spheroidal grains are achieved in new *** process of semisolid billet prepared by new SIMA has many advantages such as good surface quality of final component, high ability to fill cavity and *** fine and spheroidal grains and high mechanical properties such as tensile strength of 298 MPa and elongation of 28% can be developed in final part thixoforged.

Reliability Study on the Risk Precontrol Management System of Coal Mines Safety

Risk precontrol management system of coal mines safety( RPMSCS) provides a set of preventive safety management strategy for high-risk coal industries, which has captured extensive attentions. Fundamentally,there are several membership systems with subsystems in the management system, and the subsystem reliability has an important influence on the management system performance. Through analyzing the structure characteristics of the management system,the phase type distribution was employed to analyze its subsystem reliability by considering repair process and three states including working,fail-abnormal,and fail-emergency states. The reliability indices of the subsystem were derived respectively,including the probabilities that the subsystem in three states,mean time to the first failure, mean time to first failemergency,mean working time to first fail-emergency,and mean maintenance time to the first fail-emergency, are derived respectively. The probabilities of the membership systems and the management system in three states were also derived. Some numerical examples were used to show the procedures. The result is important for better understanding the management system operation and improving its operational performance from the respect of system reliability.

Precipitation comes in various phases, including rainfall, snowfall, sleet, and hail. Shifts of precipitation phases, as well as changes in precipitation amount, intensity, and frequency, have significant impacts on regional climate, hydrology,ecology, and the energy balance of the land-atmosphere system. Over the past century, certain progress has been achieved in aspects such as the observation, discrimination, transformation, and impact of precipitation phases. Mainly including:since the1980s, studies on the observation, formation mechanism, and prediction of precipitation phases have gradually received greater attention and reached a certain scale. The estimation of different precipitation phases using new detection theories and methods has become a research focus. Avariety of discrimination methods or schemes, such as the potential thickness threshold method of the air layer, the temperature threshold method of the characteristic layer, and the near-surface air temperature threshold method,have emerged one after another. Meanwhile, comparative studies on the discrimination accuracy and applicability assessment of multiple methods or schemes have also been carried out simultaneously. In recent years, the shift of precipitation from solid to liquid (SPSL) in the mid-to-high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere has become more pronounced due to global warming and human activities. It leads to an increase in rain-on-snow (ROS) events and avalanche disasters, affecting the speed, intensity, and duration of spring snow-melting, accelerating sea ice and glacier melting, releasing carbon from permafrost, altering soil moisture, productivity, and phenological characteristics of ecosystems, and thereby affecting their structures, processes, qualities, and service functions. Fabrication of nano-crystalline W-Ni-Fe pre-alloyed powders by mechanical alloying technique

Nano-crystalline pre-alloyed powders of W-Ni-Fe were fabricated by high energy ball milling mechanical alloying (MA) technique. The change of appearances and the crystallite sizes of powders before and after high energy ball milling were investigated by XRD, TOPAS P software, SEM and EDS. The results show that the nano-crystalline pre-alloyed powders can be fabricated by 5 h high energy ball milling. During the MA process, the diffusion of W, Ni and Fe happens in the process of repeated welding and fracturing. As a result, nano-crystalline supersaturated solid solutions are formed. The crystallite sizes won't be refined after 10 h ball milling. The crystallite sizes of different compositions are almost the same under the same MA condition. Due to the toughening mechanism of rare earth element, the powders of 90W-4Ni-2Fe-3.8Mo-0.2RE alloy are seriously agglomerated after ball milling compared with the other alloys. It can be concluded that the optimal sintering temperature of 90W-4Ni-2Fe-3.8Mo-0.2RE pre-alloyed powders after 15 h mechanical alloying is 1 300-1 350 ℃.

Numerical simulation and experiment validation of thixoforming angle frame of AZ61 magnesium alloy

Numerical simulation and experiment of thixoforming angle frame of AZ61 magnesium alloy were *** results show that with the increase in punch displacement,cylinder billet firstly fills into die cavity of angle frame from feed inlet and plastic deformation occurs in touching region between billet and die *** central thin wall of angle frame is created,semi-solid billet fills toward two ***,complete plastic deformation occurs in billet,leading to complete filling of semis-olid *** strain,effective stress and billet temperature decrease with the increase in punch *** stress decreases with the increase in billet temperature,die temperature and punch *** optimal conditions decided by numerical simulation are as follows:die temperature of 450 ℃,billet temperature of 560 ℃ and punch velocity of 30 mm/*** frame components with high mechanical properties such as yield strength of 225 MPa,tensile strength of 309 MPa and elongation of 21.8% and fine microstructure could be thixoformed successfully according to process parameters decided by numerical simulation.

Geochronology and Petrogenesis of Mafic-Intermediate Intrusions on the Northern Margin of the Central Tianshan(NW China): Implications for Tectonic Evolution

Late Paleozoic mafic-intermediate intrusions are widespread in the central Tianshan belt, but their tectonic settings remain controversial. Petrogenesis of these intrusions can provide insights into the tectonic evolution of the belt and its adjacent areas. This study presents new whole-rock geochemical and zircon U-Pb geochronology and Hf isotopic data for the Yaxi diorite and Qianzishan gabbro on the northern margin of the central Tianshan(NW China). Zircon U-Pb dating yielded the magma crystallization ages of 313±4 and 295±4 Ma for the Yaxi diorite and Qianzishan gabbro, respectively. They have lower Mg# values, Ni and Cr contents than typical mantle-derived primary melt, with negative correlations between MgO, TFeO and SiO2 contents, indicating clinopyroxene and olivine fractionation during magma evolution. They are characterized by enrichment of large ion lithophile elements(e.g., Rb, Ba and Sr) and depletion of high field strength elements(e.g., Nb, Ta and Ti) with high Ba/Th and Rb/Y, suggesting that their mantle sources had been metasomatized by slab-derived fluids. In addition, the Qianzishan gabbro has high Al2 O3 contents(19.54 wt.%–20.88 wt.%) and positive Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=1.09–1.42), which can be attributed to accumulation of plagioclase. Geochemical and zircon Hf isotopic compositions reveal that both the Yaxi diorite and Qianzishan gabbro were derived from depleted lithospheric mantle in the spinel stability field with insignificant crustal contamination. In association with previous investigations, we suggest that the Yaxi and Qianzishan intrusions were emplaced in a subduction-related environment, which means that the subduction of the Junggar Ocean lasted at least to the earliest Permian.

Study on the influences of ionization region material arrangement on Hall thruster channel discharge characteristics

There exists strong interaction between the plasma and channel wall in the Hall thruster,which greatly affects the discharge performance of the *** this paper,a two-dimensional physical model is established based on the actual size of an Aton P70 Hall thruster discharge *** particle-in-cell simulation method is applied to study the influences of segmented low emissive graphite electrode biased with anode voltage on the discharge characteristics of the Hall thruster *** influences of segmented electrode placed at the ionization region on electric potential,ion number density,electron temperature,ionization rate,discharge current and specific impulse are *** results show that,when segmented electrode is placed at the ionization region,the axial length of the acceleration region is shortened,the equipotential lines tend to be vertical with wall at the acceleration region,thus radial velocity of ions is reduced along with the wall *** axial position of the maximal electron temperature moves towards the exit with the expansion of ionization ***,the electron-wall collision frequency and ionization rate also increase,the discharge current decreases and the specific impulse of the Hall thruster is slightly enhanced.
