Shale pore characteristics of Shahejie Formation: Implication for pore evolution of shale oil reservoirs in Dongying sag, north China

The pore characteristics of shale reservoirs in the lower submember of Member 3 to upper submember of Member 4 of Shahejie Formation in Dongying sag are analyzed,influences of mineral content and organic matter content on porosity and pore size are also investigated,and through the diagenetic thermal simulation experiment,the main pore evolution is further *** results show that the pore structure of shale reservoirs is complex,the micron-nanometer pores can storage liquid hydrocarbons,and the free-phase crude oil is mainly distributed in intergranular dissolution pores of calcite,recrystallized intergranular pores,intergranular shrinkage fractures of clay mineral which have large pore *** minerals and organic matter content directly influence porosity and pore size of shale reservoirs,relationship between porosity and content of felsic mineral as well as content of organic matter content is linear and positive,while relationship between content of carbonated mineral is *** the buried depth from 2500 to 3500 m,concentration of organic acid from hydrocarbon generation and expulsion of organic matter,increasing range of pressure coefficient,are well corresponding to highporosity intervals;pore formation in shale oil reservoirs are almost controlled by diagenetic evolution of clay minerals;framework storage spaces formed by carbonate grain crystals as well as intergranular and intergranular dissolution pores of carbonate increases porosity of shale oil reservoirs;local increase of porosity at the depth of 3500e3800 m is mainly caused by coupling of hydrocarbon-generating overpressure and dissolution,and size,distribution and connectivity of pores are enhanced obviously.

A MATRIX-FREE IMPLICIT METHOD FOR INCOMPRESSIBLE FLOW AROUND 3D COMPLEX UNDERWATER BODIES

A fast, matrix-free implicit method based on the Lower-Upper Symmetric Gauss-Seidel （LU-SGS） method was developed to solve the three-dimensional incompressible Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations on multi-block structured grids. The method was applied to the simulations of a variety of flowfields around 3D complex underwater bodies with different appendages. The numerical procedure and results show that the method is efficient, reliable and robust for steady viscous flow simulations.

Failure mechanism of bolting support and high-strength bolt-grouting technology for deep and soft surrounding rock with high stress

In deep underground mining, the surrounding rocks are very soft with high stress. Their deformation and destruction are serious, and frequent failures occur on the bolt support. The failure mechanism of bolt support is proposed to solve these problems. A calculation theory is established on the bond strength of the interface between the anchoring agent and surrounding rocks. An analysis is made on the influence law of different mechanical parameters of surrounding rocks on the interfacial bond strength. Based on the research, a new high-strength bolt-grouting technology is developed and applied on site. Besides, some helpful engineering suggestions and measures are proposed. The research shows that the serious deformation and failure, and the lower bond strength are the major factors causing frequent failures of bolt support. So, the bolt could not give full play to its supporting potential. It is also shown that as the integrity, strength, interface dilatancy and stress of surrounding rocks are improved, the bond strength will increase. So, the anchoring force on surrounding rocks can be effectively improved by employing an anchoring agent with high sand content, mechanical anchoring means, or grouting reinforcement. The new technology has advantages in a high strength, imposing pre-tightening force, and giving full play to the bolt supporting potential. Hence, it can improve the control effect on surrounding rocks. All these could be helpful references for the design of bolt support in deep underground mines.

The purpose of this work is to study the principle fluctuation modes of the global stock market,which is regarded as a complex *** is proposed that the systematic risk can be reflected by the trace calculated from the cross-correlation matrix,and the integrity can be classified into clusters according to the plus-minus signs of the elements of the eigenvectors corresponding to several top largest eigenvalues whose total value accounts for more than 60 percent of the *** principle fluctuation modes of 30 stock markets are in the same direction in each year of *** to the classification criteria proposed here,the stock markets of the Americas,Europe and Asia & Oceania are automatically classified into different clusters,while Brazil,Russia and China are separated.

Effects of Pien Tze Huang(片仔癀) on Angiogenesis in vivo and in vitro

Objective： TO investigate the anti-angiogenic effects of Pien Tze Huang （片仔癀, PZH） in vivo and in vitro. ***： Human umbilical vein endothelial cells （HUVECs） were treated with 0 mg/mL, 0.25 mg/mL, 0.5 mg/mL, and 1 mg/mL of PZH for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h, respectively. Chicken embryo chorioallantoic membrane （CAM） model was used to evaluate in vivo angiogenesis. An ECMatrix gel system was used to evaluate in vitro angiogenesis by examining the tube formation of HUVECs. 3-（4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl）-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay was performed to determine HUVEC viability. Cell density of HUVECs was observed by phase- contrast microscopy. HUVEC migration was determined by wound healing method. The mRNA and protein expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A （VEGF-A） and basic fibroblast growth factor （bFGF） in both HUVEC and human colon adenocaminoma cells （HT-29） was examined by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR） and enzyme linked immune sorbent assay （ELISA）, respectively. Results： PZH treatment significantly reduced the total number of blood vessels compared with the untreated control in the chicken embryos and resulted in a significant decrease in capillary tube formation and cell density of HUVECs （P〈0.05）. In addition, treatment with 0.25-1 mg/mL of PZH for 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h respectively reduced cell viability by 9%-52%, 24%-87% or 25%-87%, compared with the untreated control cells （P〈0.05）. Moreover, PZH treatment decreased the migration of HUVECs. Furthermore, PZH close-dependently suppressed the expression of VEGF-A and bFGF on both mRNA and protein levels （P〈0.05）. Conclusion： PZH could inhibit angiogenesis in vivo in CAM model and in vitro on HUVECs, suggesting that inhibiting tumor angiogenesis might be one of the mechanisms by which PZH treats cancer.

Longitudinal distribution of O_2 nightglow brightness observed by TIEMD/SABER satellite

The global distribution of 1.27 ~tm 02 nightglow brightness observed by the TIMED/SABER satellite has been investigated to find the longitudinal structures for different seasons and latitudes. The results show that the 02 airglow is dominated by wave 4 structure at latitudes between equator and 20°S/N in both hemispheres during most seasons. At mid-latitudes around 40°S/N, the wave 1 structure is observed for most seasons with a small contribution of wave 2 during the June solstice. A comparison of the 02 and OH nightglows shows similarity in their global distributions which can be attributed to their similar photochemical mechanisms.

Groundwater Waves in a Coastal Fractured Aquifer of the Third Phase Qinshan Nuclear Power Engineering Field

Tidal fluctuations of Hangzhou Bay produce progressive pressure waves in adjacent field fractured aquifers, as the pressure waves propagate, groundwater levels and hydraulic gradients continuously fluctuate. The effect of tidal fluctuations on groundwater flow can be determined using the mean hydraulic gradient that can be calculated by comparing mean ground and surface water *** fluctuation is shown to affect the piezometer readings taken in a nearshore fractured aquifer around the nuclear power engineering field. Continuous monitoring of a network of seven piezometers provided relations between the tidal cycle and the piezometer readings. The relations can be expressed in times of a time and amplitude scaling factor. The time lag and the tidal efficiency factor and wavelength are calculated using these parameters. It provides significant scientific basis to prevent tide and groundwater for the nuclear power engineering construction and safety run of nuclear power station in the future.

Synthesis and Characterization of Poly（butylene adipate-co-terephthalate） Catalyzed by Rare Earth Stearates

Rare earth （Nd, Y, La, Dy） stearates have been synthesized and used as single component catalysts for the polycondensation of dimethyl terephthalate, adipic acid and 1,4-butanediol for the first time preparing biodegradable poly（butylene adipate-co-terephthalate）（PBAT） with high molecular weight, The microstructures of PBAT were characterized by ^1H NMR spectra. The PBAT exhibits good mechanical properties such as high tensile strength （ca. 20 MPa） and long break elongation （〉700%）.
