Conductive hydrogels have attracted extensive attention owing to their promising application prospects in flexible and wearable ***,achieving both high sensitivity and mechanical robustness remains ***,a novel and versatile conductive hydrogel based on the hybrid assem-bly of conductive cellulose nanofiber(CNF)networks has been designed and *** by the templating effect of CNFs and stabilizing effect of negatively charged poly(styrene sulfonate)(PSS),conducting polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT)was self-organized into three-dimensional nanostructures which constructed a robust conductive network after in-situ oxidative *** unique structure derived from CNF bio-template endowed polyacrylamide(PAM)hydrogels with improved electrical conductivity and excellent mechanical *** a result,the as-fabricated CNF/PEDOT:PSS/PAM hydrogel exhibited an ultimate tensile strain of 1881%and toughness of 3.72 MJ/m^(3),which were 4.07 and 8.27 times higher than the CNF-free hydrogel,*** significantly,the resultant hydrogel sensor showed highly desirable sensing properties,including remarkable sensing range(1100%),high gauge factor(GF=5.16),fast response time(185 ms),and commendable durability,as well as good ***,the hydrogel sensor was able to distinguish subtle physiological activities including phonation and facial expression,and monitor large human body motions such as finger flexion and elbow ***,it was feasible to integrate the strain sensor on the joints of robots to recognize complicated machine motion signals,showing potential in advanced human-machine interactions.

To tackle the challenge of producing highly filled polymer composites using the traditional injection molding technique,which is characterized by the fairly high melt viscosity that makes mold filling difficult,the authors propose a solution based on dynamic covalent *** demonstrated by the proof-of-concept experiments,the 4-arm starshaped polycaprolactone(PCL)oligomers and microcrystalline cel-lulose(MCC)are crosslinked by the reversible Diels-Alder(DA)*** flowability of the compounds greatly decreases due to the dissociation of the intercomponent DA bonds at the retro-reaction tempera-ture,and the networked architecture is reconstructed during cooling as a result of the forward DA ***,the high-loading MCC fillers are well distributed in the matrix and covalently bonded to the nearby PCL,forming a striking contrast to the control in which linear PCL acts as the *** DA bonds crosslinked biodegradable PCL composites exhibit decent mechanical strength(20.7 MPa)even at the MCC fraction of 65 wt%,which is superior to those(5-12.2 MPa)of the highly filled PCL composites(with filler contents of 50-63.8 wt%)reported so *** proposed approach has sufficient expansibility for the fabrication of the highly filled polymer composites constructed by other types of matrix and fillers.

Conventional base-catalyzed epoxy/aliphatic thiol systems have a poor storage stability,and are impossible to be one-pot systems.A widely accepted solution is to use the latent catalysts,which are usually insoluble anionic initiators sensitive to impurities and moisture,and have many limitations in practical *** this work,a soluble thiol-terminated imidothioether oligomer(TPI) was synthesized and used as a latent hardener and modifier to prepare one-pot epoxy/thiol systems without the latent *** latent behavior and curing mechanism of epoxy systems(EP/TPI series),consisted of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether(DGEBA),pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptoacetate)(PETMP) and TPI,were *** thiol exchange reaction between TPI and PETMP preceded the curing reaction of DGEBA,and produced aromatic thiols,which were unreactive at ambient conditions and reacted with DGEBA to form the thermosets at temperatures above 130 ℃.At the loading of 24.4 wt%TPI,the epoxy system(EP/TPI-3) had a shelf life of 13 days and was completely cured within 20 min at 180 ℃.Meanwhile,the catalyst-free curing process of EP/TPI-3 system was insensitive to impurities and ***,the thermal and mechanical properties of EP/TPI-3 thermoset were simultaneously improved,thereinto,the glass transition temperature,Young's modulus and ultimate tensile strength were increased by 16.7 ℃,12.9%,and 13.6%,respectively,compared with those of the commercial DGEBA/PETMP *** work shows that TPI has the potential to be a powerful alternative to commercial latent catalysts,and EP/TPI thermosets with high performance have broad application prospects.

Electromagnetic interference shielding(EMI SE)modules are the core com-ponent of modern ***,the tra-ditional metal-based SE modules always take up indispensable three-dimensional space inside electronics,posing a major obstacle to the integra-tion of *** innovation of integrating 3D-printed conformal shielding(c-SE)modules with packaging materials onto core electronics offers infinite possibilities to satisfy ideal SE func-tion without occupying additional ***,the 3D printable carbon-based inks with various proportions of graphene and carbon nanotube nanoparticles are well-formulated by manipulating their rheological ***,the free-constructed architectures with arbitrarily-customized structure and multifunctionality are created via 3D *** particular,the SE performance of 3D-printed frame is up to 61.4 dB,simultaneously accompanied with an ultralight architecture of 0.076 g cm^(-3) and a superhigh specific shielding of 802.4 dB cm3 g^(-1).Moreover,as a proof-of-concept,the 3D-printed c-SE module is in situ integrated into core electronics,successfully replacing the traditional metal-based module to afford multiple functions for electromagnetic compatibility and thermal ***,this scientific innovation completely makes up the blank for assembling carbon-based c-SE modules and sheds a brilliant light on developing the next generation of high-performance shielding materials with arbitrarily-customized structure for integrated electronics.

To further improve the performance of binders,a SiHfBCN-based high-temperature resistant adhesive was successfully synthesized by polymer-Derived Ceramics(PDC)route using TiB2,Polysiloxane(PSO)and short SiC nanowires as *** effect of short SiC nanowires on the adhesive strength at room temperature and high temperature,as well as the reinforcing mechanism was *** with the adhesive without SiC nanowires,after curing(at 170℃)and pyrolysis(at 1000℃)in air,the appropriate adding of SiC nanowires upgrades the room temperature and high temperature(at 1000℃ in air)adhesive strength to(12.50±0.67)MPa(up by about 32%)and(13.11±0.79)MPa(up by about 106%),***,under the synergistic impact of the nanowire bridging,nanowire breaking,nanowire drawing and crack deflection,the optimized adhesive exhibits multi-stage fracture,causing the increscent fracture displacement.

Chemical doping is a critical factor in the development of new superconductors or optimizing the superconducting transition temperature(T_(c))of the parent superconducting ***,a new simple urea approach is developed to synthesize the N-dopedα-Mo_(2)*** from the simple urea method,a broad superconducting dome is found in the Mo_(2)C1−xNx(0≤x≤0.49)compositions.X-ray diffraction results show that the structure of𝛼α-Mo_(2)C remains unchanged and there is a variation of lattice parameters with nitrogen ***,magnetic susceptibility,and heat capacity measurement results confirm that T_(c)was strongly increased from 2.68K(x=0)to 7.05K(x=0.49).First-principles calculations and our analysis indicate that increasing nitrogen doping leads to a rise in the density of states at the Fermi level and doping-induced phonon softening,which enhances electron–phonon *** results in an increase in𝑇T_(c)and a sharp rise in the upper critical *** findings provide a promising strategy for fabricating transition metal carbonitrides and provide a material platform for further study of the superconductivity of transition metal carbides.

The infamous type Ⅳ failure within the fine-grained heat-affected zone (FGHAZ) in G115 steel weldments seriously threatens the safe operation of ultra-supercritical (USC) power *** this work,the traditional thermo-mechanical treatment was modified via the replacement of hot-rolling with cold rolling,i.e.,normalizing,cold rolling,and tempering (NCT),which was developed to improve the creep strength of the FGHAZ in G115 steel *** NCT treatment effectively promoted the dissolution of preformed M_(23)C_(6)particles and relieved the boundary segregation of C and Cr during welding thermal cycling,which accelerated the dispersed reprecipitation of M_(23)C_(6) particles within the fresh reaustenitized grains during post-weld heat *** addition,the precipitation of Cu-rich phases and MX particles was promoted evidently due to the deformation-induced *** a result,the interacting actions between precipitates,dislocations,and boundaries during creep were reinforced *** this strategy,the creep rupture life of the FGHAZ in G115 steel weldments can be prolonged by 18.6%,which can further push the application of G115 steel in USC power plants.

The development of a durable metallic coating on diverse substrates is both intriguing and challenging,particularly in the research of metal-conductive materials for applications such as batteries,soft electronics,and ***,by learning from the pencil-writing process,a facile solid-ink rubbing technology(SIR-tech)is invented to address the above *** solid-ink is exampled by rational combination of liquid metal and graphite *** harnessing the synergistic effects between rubbing and adhesion,controllable metallic skin is successfully formed onto metals,woods,ceramics,and plastics without limitation in size and ***,outperforming pure liquid-metal coating,the composite metallic skin by SIR-tech is very robust due to the self-lamination of graphite nanoplate exfoliated by liquid-metal *** critical factors controlling the structures-properties of the composite metallic skin have been systematically investigated as *** applications,the SIR-tech is demonstrated to fabricate high-performance composite current collectors for next-generation batteries without traditional metal ***,advanced skin-electrodes are further demonstrated for stable triboelectricity generation even under temperature fluctuation from-196 to 120℃.This facile and highly-flexible SIR-tech may work as a powerful platform for the studies on functional coatings by liquid metals and beyond.

Elastomers with high strength and toughness,excellent self-healing properties,and biocompatibility have broad application prospects in wearable electronics and other fields,but preparing it remains a *** this work,we propose a highly adaptable strategy by introducing the small molecule crosslinking agent of triethanolamine(TEA)to the poly(thioctic acid)(PTA)chains and preparing the PAx Ey elastomers using a simple synthesis *** strategy stabilizes the PTA chains by constructing multiple non-covalent cross-linked dynamic networks,endowing materials with excellent strength and toughness(tensile strength of 288 kPa,toughness of 278.2 kJ/m3),admirable self-healing properties(self-healing efficiency of 121.6%within 7 h at 70℃),and good *** PAx Ey elastomers can also be combined with MWNTs to become flexible strain sensors,which can be used to monitor human joint movements with high sensitivity,repeatable responses,and stability.
