Oil product pipelines have features such as transporting multiple materials, ever-changing operating conditions, and synchronism between the oil input plan and the oil offloading plan. In this paper, an optimal model was established for a single-source multi-distribution oil pro- duct pipeline, and scheduling plans were made based on supply. In the model, time node constraints, oil offloading plan constraints, and migration of batch constraints were taken into consideration. The minimum deviation between the demanded oil volumes and the actual offloading volumes was chosen as the objective function, and a linear programming model was established on the basis of known time nodes＇ sequence. The ant colony optimization algo- rithm and simplex method were used to solve the model. The model was applied to a real pipeline and it performed well.

Microscopic seepage characteristics are critical for the evaluation of tight sandstone *** this study,a digital core approach integrating microscopic seepage simulation and CT scanning was developed to characterize microscopic seepage and fracture effectiveness(the ratio of micro-fractures that contributes to fluid flow)of tight *** simulations were carried out for characterizations of tight *** results show that the axial permeability of the investigated cylindrical tight sandstone from Junggar Basin in China is 0.460μm~2,while the radial permeability is 0.3723μm~2,and the axial and radial effective fracture ratios are 0.4387 and 0.4806,respectively,indicating that cracks are not fully developed and the connectivity between micro-cracks is *** permeability that is difficult to measure by laboratory experiments can be obtained readily using the proposed method in this *** results provide important information for improving the exploration and development of tight sandstone reservoirs.

Experimental and Numerical Study on the Gas Explosion in Urban Regulator Station

Regulator station is an important part in the urban gas transmission and distribution *** gas explosion occurs,the real explosion process and consequences of methane gas explosion in the regulator station were not revealed *** this study,a full-scale experiment was carried out to simulate the regulator station explosion process,and some numerical simulations with a commercial CFD software called FLACS were conducted to analyze the effect of ignition and vent conditions on the blast overpressure and flame *** experimental results demonstrated that the peak overpressure increased as the distance from the vent increased within a certain *** the maximum overpressure appeared 3 m away from the door,which was about 36.6 *** was found that the pressure-time rising curves obtained from the simulation are basically the same as the ones from the experiment,however,the time of reaching the peak pressure was much *** numerical simulation results show that the peak overpressures show an increase trend as the ignition height decreased and the vent relief pressure *** indicates that the damage and peak overpressure of gas explosion could be well predicted by FLACS in different styles of regulator *** addition,the results help us to understand the internal mechanism and development process of gas explosion *** also offers technical support for the safety protection of the urban regulator station.

Active layer is a key component for permafrost environment studies as many subsurface biological,biogeochemical,ecological,and pedogenic activities prevail in this *** study focuses on active layer temperature monitoring in an area with sporadic permafrost at two adjacent sites along China-Russia Crude Oil pipeline(CRCOP),Northeast *** T1 is located in disturbed ground on the right-of-way(on-ROW)2 m away from the center of the oil pipeline.T2 is located in a natural and undisturbed site,around 16.6 m *** objective was to study seasonal variability of the active layer depth and thermal regime from October 2017 to September *** monitoring sites consist of soil temperature probes arranged in a vertical array at different depths at both *** following parameters were computed:number of isothermal days(ID),freezing days(FD),thawing days(TD),freezing degree days(FDD),thawing degree days(TDD),number of freeze-thaw days(FTD).The mean air temperature in the monitoring period reached-3.2℃.The temperature profile indicates that the maximum active layer thickness observed during the study period was 10 m at T1 and 2 m at *** majority of the soil temperatures were above or close to 0℃,resulting in great values of TDD,especially in the first 4 m *** for T1 were predominant and ranged between 600-1160℃·days(0-4 m depth)reflecting the influence of oil temperature from the *** T2 borehole FDD were predominant for all the soil layer depths resulting in less permafrost *** comparison emphasizes the significant influence of vegetation removal and the dispersed heat from the pipeline on the active layer thickness.
