Zinc oxide(ZnO)serves as a crucial functional semiconductor with a wide direct bandgap of approximately 3.37 *** reaction is commonly used in the synthesis of ZnO micro/nanostructures,given its low cost,simplicity,and easy ***,ZnO morphology engineering has become desirable through the alteration of minor conditions in the reaction process,particularly at room *** this work,ZnO micro/nanostructures were synthesized in a solution by varying the amounts of the ammonia added at low temperatures(including room temperature).The formation of Zn^(2+)complexes by ammonia in the precursor regulated the reaction rate of the morphology engineering of ZnO,which resulted in various structures,such as nanoparticles,nanosheets,microflowers,and single ***,the obtained ZnO was used in the optoelectronic application of ultraviolet detectors.

Using numerical solution of the full Maxwell-Bloch equations, which is obtained by the finite-difference time-domain method and the iterative predictor-orrector method, we investigate the modulation effect of relative carrierenvelope phase （hereinafter referred to as the relative phase） on resonant propagation of two-colour femtosecond ultrashort laser pulses in a V-type three-level atomic medium. It is found that the pulse splitting occurs for a smaller value of relative phase; when the value of relative phase increases to a certain value, only the variation of pulse shape is present and the pulse splitting does not occur any more; moreover, when the value of relative phase is smaller, the pulse group velocity is larger. The relative phase also has an obvious effect on population and spectral property. Different population transfers can be realized by adjusting the value of relative phase. Generally speaking, for the pulses with smaller areas their spectral strengths and frequency ranges decrease obviously with the value of relative phase increasing; for the pulses with larger areas, with value of the relative phase increasing, their spectral strengths decrease remarkably but the relative strengths of the higher frequency components increase significantly, while the spectral frequency range is not varied evidently.

High-energy physics experiments enable us to explore and understand particle properties and interactions. An increase in luminosity in the accelerator, which allows us to study particles in higher energy ranges, demands faster data transmission and processing. Aimed at this, a high throughput uTCA-compliant electronics module, based on the latest FPGAs, has been designed. It contains 48 10.0 Gb/s optical fiber input channels and 24 10.0 Gb/s optical fiber output channels, supporting up to 480 Gb/s input bandwidth and 240 Gb/s output bandwidth. It complies with the uTCA standards, providing high speed data exchange capability and functioning as a compact and key module in a trigger and DAQ system for a large experiment. A reliable 10.0 Gb/s data transmission among two boards has been verified and one functionality that merges 6 1.6 Gb/s data channels into one single 10.0 Gb/s channel has been achieved. The hardware, firmware and software together with a performance evaluation are given in this paper.

As a low-cost visible-light-driven metal-free catalyst, graphitic carbon nitride(g-CN) has attracted increasing attention due to its wide applications for solar energy conversion, environmental purification,and organic photosynthesis. In particular, the catalytic performance of g-CNcan be easily modulated by modifying morphology, doping, and copolymerization. Simultaneous optimization, however, has little been achieved. Herein, a facile one-pot strategy is developed to synthesize porous B-doped g-CNnanosheets by using HBOand urea as the precursor during thermal polymerization. The resultant B-doped g-CNnanosheets retain the original framework of bulk g-CN, while induce prominently enhanced visible light harvesting and narrowing band gap by 0.32 eV compared to pure g-CN. Moreover, the adsorption capacity and photodegradation kinetics of methylene blue(MB) under visible light irradiation over B-doped g-CNnanosheets can be improved by 20.5 and 17 times, respectively. The synthesized porous B-doped g-CNnanosheets also exhibit higher activities than pure g-CNas bifunctional electrocatalyst for both oxygen evolution reaction(OER) and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). The enhanced catalyst performance of porous B-doped g-CNnanosheets stems from the strong synergistic effect originating from the larger exposed active sites generated by the exfoliation of g-CNinto nanosheets and the porous structure, as well as the better conductivity owing to B-doping. This work provides a simple, effective, and robust method for the synthesis of g-CN-based nanomaterial with superior properties to meet the needs of various applications.

Quantum correlations generation and distribution in a universal covariant quantum cloning circuit

We discussed the distribution and generation of quantum correlations in a universal covariant quantum cloning circuit. Specifically, we first considered the distribution of quantum correlation, i.e., quantum discord, among the four qubits of the circuit. Then, we analyzed the generation of genuine 3-or 4-qubit entanglement in the cloning process. It is found that the circuit generates genuine 4-qubit GHZ(GreenbergerHorne-Zeilinger)-type state while only W-type 3-qubit state could be generated. These results illustrate the special quantum correlation manipulation capabilities of the cloning circuit.

The relation between Hardy's non-locality and violation of Bell inequality

We give an analytic quantitative relation between Hardy＇s non-locality and Bell operator. We find that Hardy＇s non-locality is a sufficient condition for the violation of Bell inequality, the upper bound of Hardy＇s non-locality allowed by information causality just corresponds to Tsirelson bound of Bell inequality and the upper bound of Hardy＇s non- locality allowed by the principle of no-signaling just corresponds to the algebraic maximum of Bell operator. Then we study the CabeUo＇s argument of Hardy＇s non-locality （a generalization of Hardy＇s argument） and find a similar relation between it and violation of Bell inequality. Finally, we give a simple derivation of the bound of Hardy＇s non-locality under the constraint of information causality with the aid of the above derived relation between Hardy＇s non-locality and Bell operator.

We report theoretical studies on the newly discovered novel Josephson effect and scanning tunneling spectroscopy(STS) at the interface of strontium titanate/lanthanum aluminate(STO/LAO).With a phenomenological boson-fermion model, the density of states is calculated and the results are consistent with the STS experiments.A typical calculation of Josephson effect is performed, and it is in qualitative agreement with the *** calculations indicate that the gap states come from the pairing of quasi-particles with a finite total momentum and the Josephson current comes from the tunneling of quasi-particle pairs with zero *** quasi-particles are Bogoliubov ***, the fits using Kulik's formula imply that the Josephson junction at the STO/LAO interface has a point contact with the clean superconductor limit.

A protocol to transform Svetlichny's genuine multipartite correlations into standard isotropic form

The standard isotropic correlations are widely used in the research of no-locality of quantum physics. We prove that any multipartite no-signaling correlation can be transformed into standard isotropic form through a randomization procedure, which does not change Svetlichny＇s genuine multipartite correlation. For the tripartite correlations, each part with two inputs and two outcomes, we explicitly give the protocol and the proof of its validity. We then generalize the protocol to deal with the case of an N-partite.
