Using the calculation of phase diagrams approach and Scheil solidification modeling,the Al-2.5Mg-1.0Ni-0.4Sc-0.1Zr alloy was designed,intentionally with an extraordinarily high cracking susceptibility,making it prime for solidification cracking during laser powder bed *** study demonstrates the ability to mitigate even the most extreme solidification cracking tendencies in aluminum alloys with only minor alloying additions of Sc and Zr,0.5 wt.%***,by employing a simple direct ageing heat treatment,good tensile mechanical properties were observed with a yield strength of 308 MPa,an ultimate tensile strength of 390 MPa,and a total elongation of 11%.

In this paper, a cellular automaton model considering game strategy update is proposed to study the pedestrian evac- uation in a hall. Pedestrians are classified into two categories, i.e., cooperators and defectors, and they walk to an exit according to their own strategy change. The conflicts that two or three pedestrians try to occupy the same site at the same time are investigated in the Game theory model. Based on it, the relationship between the pedestrian flow rate and the evacuation time as well as the variation of cooperative proportion against evacuation time is investigated from the different initial cooperative proportions under the influence of noise. The critical value of the noise is found when there is a small number of defectors in the initial time. Moreover, the influences of the initial cooperative proportion and strength of noise on evacuation are discussed. The results show that the lower the initial cooperative proportion as well as the bigger the strength of noise, the longer the time it takes for evacuation.

The aim of this study is to investigate the impacts of the sampling strategy of landslide and non-landslide on the performance of landslide susceptibility assessment(LSA).The study area is the Feiyun catchment in Wenzhou City,Southeast *** types of landslides samples,combined with seven non-landslide sampling strategies,resulted in a total of 14 *** corresponding landslide susceptibility map(LSM)for each scenario was generated using the random forest *** receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and statistical indicators were calculated and used to assess the impact of the dataset sampling *** results showed that higher accuracies were achieved when using the landslide core as positive samples,combined with non-landslide sampling from the very low zone or buffer *** results reveal the influence of landslide and non-landslide sampling strategies on the accuracy of LSA,which provides a reference for subsequent researchers aiming to obtain a more reasonable LSM.

BACKGROUND Heart rate variability(HRV)was shown to be affected by performing religious *** To examine the relationship between the level of Quran(the holy book of Muslims)memorisation and HRV among *** This experimental study included 16 Tahfiz students and 16 non-Tahfiz students(n=32).The HRV was measured in three tasks:Recalling familiar verses,memorising new verses,and recalling the newly memorised verses of the *** analysis was done using these parameters:Standard deviation of N-N(heartbeat peak)interval;low frequency(LF);high frequency(HF)and LF/HF *** There were significant differences between tasks for all parameters(P<0.05).However,between the groups,only the LF/HF ratio had significant differences,with F=5.04,P<*** correlation showed a moderate positive correlation between the number of pages memorised and the LF/HF ratio(r=0.61,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Quran memorisation increased the HRV and our results suggested that this activity could be developed as an effective sympathovagal modulation training activity.

The crystal structure, phase transition, and magnetocaloric effect in Ni42.8Mn40.3Co5.7Sn11.2 alloy are investigated by structure analysis and magnetic measurements. A large magnetic entropy change of 45.6 J/kg.K is obtained at 215 K under a magnetic field of 30 kOe （1 Oe = 79.5775 A.m-1）. The effective refrigerant capacity of Ni42.8Mn40.3Co5.7Sn11.2 alloy reaches 72.1 J/kg under an applied field changing from 0 to 30 kOe. The external magnetic field shifts the martensitic transition temperature about 3-4 K/10 kOe towards low temperature, indicating that magnetic field can retard the phase transition to a certain extent. The origin of large magnetic entropy change is discussed in the paper.

In recent years,China has been issuing artificial intelligence(AI)education policies to promote the deep integration between AI and *** AI courses at the basic education phase can cultivate students’AI literacy and enhance the country’s science and technology competitiveness in the ***,due to shortages of AI teachers and inadequate conditions for practice,the current AI courses in primary and secondary schools are not enough in *** light of current problems,this study,based on the foundation of university-enterprise cooperation,integrates the“competition and education”mechanism into informal AI course design and *** a design-based research paradigm,the study proposes the design framework from four dimensions:goals,themes and content,methods and steps,and evaluation,and then further refines the framework through two rounds of iterations,to provide a reference for the development and practice of AI courses.

Recyclable thiol-modified Zr-based MOFs/hydrogel composite beads for effective removal of Hg(Ⅱ)

In general, majority of MOFs are powder, which limit their applications. In this study, the highly stable Zr-based MOF-808 and its thiol-modified MOF-808-SH were selected as precursors, and then they were wrapped by sodium alginate hydrogel via a dripping strategy. Based on these, MOF/hydrogel composite beads(Alg-MOF-808, AlgMOF-808-SH) with 3D network structure were prepared successfully. Due to its excellent adsorption properties and easy recovery, they were employed as effective environmental functional materials for the adsorption of Hg(Ⅱ). The adsorption capacities of Hg(Ⅱ) were 170.52 mg·g-1and 221.73 mg·g-1respectively and they can achieve adsorption equilibrium in a short time. The adsorption stability of Alg-MOF-808-SH was studied at different p H as well. In addition, the removal efficiency of composite beads for Hg(Ⅱ) was almost unaffected by other coexisting ions, displaying good adsorption selectivity. Furthermore, the removal efficiency only decreased by 10.4% after 5 cycles, indicating that the as-prepared materials have high recycling efficiency. The results demonstrated that the MOF/hydrogel composite beads have a certain application potential for mercury removal in actual wastewater.

BACKGROUND： The estimation of liver fibrosis is usually dependent on liver biopsy evaluation. Because of its disadvantages and side effects, researchers try to find non-invasive methods for the assessment of liver injuries. Hyaluronic acid has been proposed as an index for scoring the severity of fibrosis, alone or in algorithm models. The algorithm model in which hyaluronic acid was used as a major constituent was more reliable and accurate in diagnosis than hyaluronic acid alone. This review described various hyaluronic acid algorithm-based models for assessing liver *** SOURCE： A Pub Med database search was performed to identify the articles relevant to hyaluronic acid algorithmbased models for estimating liver ***： The use of hyaluronic acid in an algorithm model is an extra and valuable tool for assessing liver ***： Although hyaluronic acid algorithm-based models have good diagnostic power in liver fibrosis assessment, they cannot render the need for liver biopsy obsolete and it is better to use them in parallel with liver biopsy. They can be used when frequent liver biopsy is not possible in situations such as highlighting the efficacy of treatment protocol for liver fibrosis.

Evaluation of the effects of Alkyl Phenolic compounds on kinetic coefficients and biomass activity in MBBR by means of respirometric techniques

The presence of Alkyl Phenols(APs) in aquatic systems is considered as one of the environmental concerns in recent decades which are generally used as surfactants. APs are endocrine disruptors and estrogen-mimicking,causing harmful effects such as feminization and carcinogenesis on aquatic environment and human *** most commercially important APs are 4-Nonyl Phenol(4-NP) and 4-tert-OctylP henol(4-t-OP). Moving bed biofilm reactor(MBBR), which combined attached and suspended growth advantages, is an advanced biological treatment process for municipal and industrial wastewaters that has drawn considerable attention from many researchers to remove toxic pollutants from wastewater. The aim of this research was to evaluate Bacterial activities and kinetic coefficients in the presence of APs. This study was carried out using laboratory-scale MBBR fed with synthetic wastewater containing 4-NP and 4-t-OP. The reactor was operated at different loads of chemical oxygen demand(COD) and APs and different hydraulic retention time(HRT). The respirometric technique was applied to investigate the effect of APs on heterotrophic and autotrophic activity and kinetic coefficients in biomass obtained from MBBR. Respirometric technique demonstrates a reliable tool in order to assess the biofilm kinetic coefficients and biomass viability to insert in the mathematical models. The calculated kinetic parameters were in the range of conventional and extended aeration activated sludge processes. The results demonstrate that APs have significant inhibitory effects on activity and growth rate of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria, heterotrophs have been less affected by the presence of 4-NP and 4-t-OP, and these compounds had greater inhibitory effects on autotrophic bacteria.
