MOF-derived La/ZnO–TiO2 composite with enhanced photocatalytic ability for degradation of tetracycline

Developing effective and stable photocatalysts for organic pollutants degradation are still a big challenge in practical water treatment now. In this work, La doped ZnO–TiO2composite(La/ZnO–TiO2) were successfully fabricated by using PVP modified ZIF-8/TiO2as template via the absorption and pyrolysis routes. All as-fabricated materials were analyzed by XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, XPS, UV–vis absorption spectra and ESR spectra. PVP modified ZIF-8/TiO2was fully transferred into ZnO–TiO2after being pyrolyzed at high temperature under air *** doping of La can make ZnO–TiO2exhibiting red-shifted, which is attributed to the capture of photo-generated electrons by La, leading to the effective separation between photo-generated electrons and holes. Furthermore,the photocatalytic performance of all as-fabricated materials were explored by degradation of tetracycline(TC)solution under UV light irradiation. La/ZnO–TiO2exhibits excellent stability. And the photocatalytic degradation rate of La/ZnO–TiO2is 99.2%, which is even higher than ZnO(87.4%), ZnO–TiO2(87.4%), P25(TiO2)(92.7%).More than that, the effect of catalyst’s dose, effect of TC concentration and effect of pH for TC degradation have been well explored. The excellent photocatalytic performance of La/ZnO–TiO2makes it possible to be applied for degradation of organic pollutants in practice.

Thermoelectric sensors have attracted increasing attention in smart wearables due to the recognition of multiple signals in self-powered ***,present thermoelectric devices show disadvantages of low durability,weak wearability,and complex preparation processes and are susceptible to moisture in the microenvironment of the human body,which hinders their further application in wearable ***,we prepared a new thermoelectric fabric with thermoplastic polyurethane/carbon nanotubes(TPU/CNTs)by combining vacuum filtration and electrospraying *** TPU microsphere coating with good biocompatibility and environmental friendliness made the fabric worn directly and exhibits preferred water resistance,mechanical durability,and stability even after being bent 4000 times,stretched 1000 times,and washed 1000 ***,this fabric showed a Seebeck coefficient of 49μVK−1 and strain range of 250%and could collect signals well and avoided interference from *** on the biocompatibility and safety of the fabric,it can be fabricated into devices and mounted on the human face and elbow for long-term and continuous collection of data on the body’s motion and breathing simultaneously to provide collaborative support *** thermoelectric fabric-based sensor will show great potential in advanced smart wearables for health monitoring,motion detection,and human–computer interaction.

Black seed(Nigella sativa) is an annual flowering plant from Ranunculaceae family, native to southwest Asia. This plant has many food and medicinal uses. The use of its seeds and oil is common for treatment of many diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, inflammatory diseases, diabetes and digestive diseases. The purpose of this study was to provide a comprehensive review on the scientific reports that have been published about N. sativa. The facts and statistics presented in this review article were gathered from the journals accessible in creditable databases such as science Direct, Medline, Pub Med, Scopus, EBSCO, EMBASE, SID and Iran Medex. The keywords searched in Persian and English books on medicinal plants and traditional medicine, as well as the above reputable databases were "Black seed", "Nigella sativa", "therapeutic effect", and "medicinal plant". The results showed that N. sativa has many biological effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperlipidemic, anti-microbial, anti-cancer, anti-oxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, and wound healing activities. It also has effects on reproductive, digestive, immune and central nervous systems, such as anticonvulsant and analgesic activities. In summary, it can be used as a valuable plant for production of new drugs for treatment of many diseases.

In the cloud environment,the transfer of data from one cloud server to another cloud server is called *** can be delivered in various ways,from one data centre to *** research aims to increase the migration performance of the virtual machine(VM)in the cloud *** allow cloud customers to store essential data and ***,server usage has grown dramatically due to the virtualization of computer systems,resulting in higher data centre power consumption,storage needs,and operating *** VMs on one data centre manage share resources like central processing unit(CPU)cache,network bandwidth,memory,and application ***-cloud,VMmigration addresses the performance degradation due to cloud server configuration,unbalanced traffic load,resource load management,and fault situations during data *** speed is influenced by the size of the VM,the dirty rate of the running application,and the latency ofmigration *** a result,evaluating VM migration performance while considering all of these factors becomes a difficult *** effort of this research is to assess migration problems on *** simulation results in Matlab show that if the VMsize grows,themigration time of VMs and the downtime can be impacted by three orders *** dirty page rate decreases,themigration time and the downtime grow,and the latency time decreases as network bandwidth increases during the migration time and post-migration overhead calculation when the VMtransfer is *** the simulated cases of VMs migration were performed in a fuzzy inference system with performance graphs.
