The effects of exercise interventions on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents:a meta-analysis

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor is a crucial neurotrophic factor that plays a significant role in brain health. Although the vast majority of meta-analyses have confirmed that exercise interventions can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents, the effects of specific types of exercise on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels are still controversial. To address this issue, we used meta-analytic methods to quantitatively evaluate, analyze, and integrate relevant studies. Our goals were to formulate general conclusions regarding the use of exercise interventions, explore the physiological mechanisms by which exercise improves brain health and cognitive ability in children and adolescents, and provide a reliable foundation for follow-up research. We used the Pub Med, Web of Science, Science Direct, Springer, Wiley Online Library, Weipu, Wanfang, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases to search for randomized controlled trials examining the influences of exercise interventions on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents. The extracted data were analyzed using Review Manager 5.3. According to the inclusion criteria, we assessed randomized controlled trials in which the samples were mainly children and adolescents, and the outcome indicators were measured before and after the intervention. We excluded animal experiments, studies that lacked a control group, and those that did not report quantitative results. The mean difference(MD;before versus after intervention) was used to evaluate the effect of exercise on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents. Overall, 531 participants(60 children and 471 adolescents, 10.9–16.1 years) were included from 13 randomized controlled trials. Heterogeneity was evaluated using the Q statistic and I^(2) test provided by Review Manager software. The meta-analysis showed that there was no heterogeneity among the studies(P = 0.67,

Technology was developed for obtaining ecologically pure composites containing nitrogenous fertilizers of prolonged action and nitrogen-fixing microorganisms in order to increase productivity of cereal crops. As a result of application of this composite nitrogenous fertilizer hectare norm decreases by 40%-55%, while productivity increases by 15%-30%, compared to those of the control.

Terms of synthesis were determined for creation of new generation premixes and for their testing in experiments. Heteronuclear chelate citrates of general formula： ***2O （where, M^I = Zn, Co, Fe, Mn, Cu; MH = Mn, Zn, Co, Cu; n = 0/4） were synthesized. Identity and composition of synthesized compounds were defined by microelemental analysis, determination of melting temperature and X-ray diffraction analysis. X-ray diffraction method was used also to define crystallinity of the compounds and their citric acid （H4L） component. X-ray amorphous and iso-structural orders were also revealed.

The crystal and molecular structures of （Ⅰ） and （Ⅱ） have been determined from single-crystal, X-ray diffraotion data collected by counter methods. Compound （Ⅰ） crystallizes inthe monoclinic space group C 2/c with a=19.618（11） ?, b=9.356（4） ?, c=15.985（8） ?,β=128.84 （3）°, Z=4. The molecule possesses Cpoint symmetry. Compound （Ⅱ） erystallizesin the monoclinic space group P 2/a with a=8.329（2） ?, b=36.509（13） ?, c=10.647（4）?, β=96.04（2）°, Z=4. The oxo-bridge links two [CpZr（OCHCl-p）] units together withthe bond angle Zr-O-Zr of 161.1（9）°. The relatively shorter Zr-O bond lengths show the pre-sence of partial double-bond character. Both Ti and Zr atoms have d° electronic configura-tion in （Ⅰ） and （Ⅱ）. The M-O bonds of the two compounds are discussed.

Impact of Modification Process on Graphite Structure at Application of Chloroperfluorododecylfluoro Sulfate

Impact of the process of modification on graphite structure at the application of fluorine-containing oligomer-FDS （chloroperfluorododecylfluoro sulfate） has been studied. It was shown that during this process graphite structure does not change. Only particles of FDS are destructed into monolayers, which are spread in graphite intercrystalline voids. At the mechanical impact it protects graphite from destruction and correspondingly, improveing some of its tribotechnical characteristics.

New type of substituted 1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamides were obtained byregioselective synthesis under the catalysis of different bases. The structures of the titlecompounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, ~1H NMR, IR, MS and X-ray crystallography. Compounds1 were transacylated into their corresponding amides 3 in the presence of sodium *** bioassays indicated that some compounds showed fungicidal activities against Rhizoctoniasolani and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.

Methane, an abundant one-carbon（C1） resource, is extensively used in the industrial production of vital fuels and value-added chemicals. However, current industrial methane conversion technologies are energy-and carbon-intensive, mainly due to the high activation energy required to break the inert C–H bond, low selectivity, and problematic side reactions, including CO2emissions and coke deposition. Electrochemical conversion of methane（ECM） using intermittent renewable energy offers an attractive solution, due to its modular reactor design and operational flexibility across a broad spectrum of temperatures and pressures. This review emphasizes conversion pathways of methane in various reaction systems, highlighting the significance and advantages of ECM in facilitating a sustainable artificial carbon cycle. This work provides a comprehensive overview of conventional methane activation mechanisms and delineates the complete pathways of methane conversion in electrolysis contexts. Based on surface/interface chemistry, this work systematically analyzes proposed reaction pathways and corresponding strategies to enhance ECM efficiency towards various target products, including syngas, hydrocarbons, oxygenates, and advanced carbon materials. The discussion also encompasses opportunities and challenges for the ECM process, including insights into ECM pathways, rational electrocatalyst design, establishment of benchmarking protocols, electrolyte engineering, enhancement of CH4conversion rates, and minimization of CO2emission.

In this paper, we have studied the piezoelectricity in the poled uniaxially drawn polyvinylidene fluoride. The piezoelectric constants d31, d32, d33αand Young's moduli 1/s11 and 1/s22have been determined as a function of the remanent polarization Pr. The piezoelectric constants of the samples show a strong in-plane anisotropy. Such an anisotropy is mostly attributable to different Poisson's ratio. It is found that the piezoelectric activity mainly arises from macroscopic dimensional change.

Buried interface bridging for inverted cesium-formamidinium triiodide perovskite solar cells with long operational stability

In the field of perovskite solar cells(PSCs), the research on defects in the buried interface has been relatively limited due to its non-exposure; however, this interface significantly impacts the performance enhancement of inverted PSCs. This study employs phenylethylammonium chloride(PEACl) molecules as a buffer layer to modify the buried interface of p-i-n structured PSCs,aiming to enhance the uniformity of self-assembled monolayers(SAMs) and facilitate the uniform nucleation and growth of perovskite films on the substrate. Furthermore, the introduction of the PEACl buffer layer effectively passivates defects at the bottom of the perovskite layer and notably enhances the crystal quality of the perovskite film by mitigating residual stress,thereby reducing nonradiative recombination loss. Following these optimizations, the MA-free PSCs treated with PEACl achieve a power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 24.11%, with significant improvements in storage, thermal stability, and operational stability. Particularly noteworthy is the device's performance in an unencapsulated state, whereas after 1,500 hours of continuous light operation stability testing, it retains 97% of its original efficiency. This study not only enriches the systematic understanding of the characteristics of the buried interface in PSCs but also contributes significantly to advancing the commercial production of perovskite photovoltaic technology.
