A comparative study of name resolution and routing mechanisms in 网 information-centric networks

Information-Centric Networking (ICN) is an innovative paradigm for the future internet architecture, which addresses IP network limitations in supporting content distribution and information access by decoupling content from hosts and providing the ability to retrieve a content object by its name (identifier), rather than its storage location (IP address). Name resolution and routing is critical for content retrieval in ICN networks. In this research, we perform a comparative study of two widely used classes of ICN name resolution and routing schemes, namely flooding and Distributed Hash Table (DHT). We consider the flooding-based routing in Content-Centric Networks due to its wide acceptance. For the DHT scheme, we design a multi-level DHT that takes into account the underlying network topology and uses name aggregation to further reduce control overhead and improve network efficiency. Then, we compare the characteristics and performance of these two classes of name resolution and routing through extensive simulations. The evaluation results show that the performances of these two approaches are reliant on several factors, including network size, content location dynamics, and content popularity. Our study reveals insights into the design tradeoffs and offers guidelines for design strategies.

Bladder Extrophy is a rare urogenital malformation of the penis and bladder. This is an impressive fact at birth, due to the absence of the anterior bladder wall and the dorsal side of the penis. We report the clinical observation of a 21-month-old child who consults for urine incontinence from birth, when physical examination showed complete bladder extrophy. The reconstructive surgery allowed forming a bladder reservoir associated with a repair of the penis at the same time. Bladder extrophy is a benign condition whose operative consequences can be simple but urinary incontinence is not uncommon after reconstitution.

Identification and preoperative optimization of risk factors to prevent periprosthetic joint infection

Despite significant improvements over the past several decades in diagnosis,treatment and prevention of periprosthetic joint infection(PJI),it still remains a major challenge following total joint *** the devastating nature and accelerated incidence of PJI,prevention is the most important strategy to deal with this challenging problem and should start from identifying risk *** and well-organized optimization of these risk factors in individuals before elective arthroplasty are essential to the ultimate success in reducing the incidence of *** though some risk factors such as demographic characteristics are seldom changeable,they allow more accurate expectation regarding individual risks of PJI and thus,make proper counseling for shared preoperative decision-making *** that increase the risk of PJI,but are potentially modifiable should be optimized prior to elective *** remarkable advances have been achieved in past decades,many questions regarding standardized practice to prevent this catastrophic complication remain *** current study provide a comprehensive knowledge regarding risk factors based on general principles to control surgical siteinfection by the review of current literature and also share own practice at our institution to provide practical and better understandings.

A data-driven approach to estimating post-discovery parameters of unexplored oilfields

Consider a typical situation where an investor is considering acquiring an unexplored *** oilfield has undergone a preliminary geological and geophysical study in which pre-discovery data such as lithology,depth,depositional system,diagenetic overprint,structural compartmentalization,and trap type are *** this situation,investors usually estimate production rates using a volumetric approach.A more accurate estimation of production rates can be obtained using analytical methods,which require additional data such as net pay,porosity,oil formation volume factor,permeability,viscosity,and *** call these data post-discovery parameters because they are only available after discovery through exploration drilling.A data-driven approach to estimating post-discovery parameters of an unexplored oilfield is developed based on its pre-discovery data by learning from proven reservoir *** the Gaussian mixture model,and a data-driven reservoir typology based on the joint probability distribution of post-discovery parameters is *** came up with 12 reservoir ***,an artificial neural network classification model with the resilient backpropagation algorithm is used to find relationships between pre-discovery data and reservoir *** on k-fold crossvalidation with k?10,the accuracy of the classification model is stable with an average of 87.9%.With our approach,an investor considering acquiring an unexplored oilfield can classify the oilfield's reservoir into a particular type and estimate its post-discovery parameters'joint probability *** investor can incorporate this information into a valuation model to calculate the production rates more accurately,estimate the oilfield's value and risk,and make an informed acquisition decision accordingly.
