Enhanced wave and finite element method for wave propagation and forced response prediction in periodic piezoelectric structures

As a promising numerical tool of structural dynamics in mid- and high frequencies, the wave and finite element method（WFEM） is receiving increasingly attention and applications. In this paper, an enhanced WFEM has been developed with a reduced model and a new eigenvalue scheme. The reduced model is applicable for structures with piezoelectric shunts or local dampers;the new eigenvalue scheme can mitigate the ill-conditioning when the wave basis is calculated. The enhanced WFEM is applied to a thin-wall structure with periodically distributed piezoelectric materials（PZT）. Both free wave characteristics and forced response are analyzed and the influences of the suggested enhancements are presented. It is shown that if the control factors are properly chosen, these enhancements can improve the accuracy while accelerating the calculation. Resulting from the complexity of the application, these enhancements are not optional but imperative.

Effective Hybrid Teaching-learning-based Optimization Algorithm for Balancing Two-sided Assembly Lines with Multiple Constraints

Due to the NP-hardness of the two-sided assembly line balancing （TALB） problem, multiple constraints existing in real applications are less studied, especially when one task is involved with several constraints. In this paper, an effective hybrid algorithm is proposed to address the TALB problem with multiple constraints （TALB-MC）. Considering the discrete attribute of TALB-MC and the continuous attribute of the standard teaching-learning-based optimization （TLBO） algorithm, the random-keys method is hired in task permutation representation, for the purpose of bridging the gap between them. Subsequently, a special mechanism for handling multiple constraints is developed. In the mechanism, the directions constraint of each task is ensured by the direction check and adjustment. The zoning constraints and the synchronism constraints are satisfied by teasing out the hidden correlations among constraints. The positional constraint is allowed to be violated to some extent in decoding and punished in cost fimction. Finally, with the TLBO seeking for the global optimum, the variable neighborhood search （VNS） is further hybridized to extend the local search space. The experimental results show that the proposed hybrid algorithm outperforms the late acceptance hill-climbing algorithm （LAHC） for TALB-MC in most cases, especially for large-size problems with multiple constraints, and demonstrates well balance between the exploration and the exploitation. This research proposes an effective and efficient algorithm for solving TALB-MC problem by hybridizing the TLBO and VNS.

As the most important measure to realize the goal of energy-efficiency and consumption-reduction,light-weight technology always encounters so many difficulties to find a balance between cost and performance and ***,traditional investigation in this regard always focus on car body or chassis or even armature,which are always made of *** few attention on lamp,not to mention the investigation on the light-weight technology in this *** paper focus on four aspects such as structure simplification,material optimization,new technology application on manufacturing process,and put forward a new and concrete concept to reach this objective by optimization on dimension,shape,styling and injection process and application of new technology on *** simulation and testing with the new conception of headlamp with light-weight technology,it shows that critical performance such as pedestrian performance（indicated by HIC） can meet the requirement of ECE regulation and another two goals,mass and cost,according to the calculation,can be decreased by 20%and 15%*** means,the concept of light-weight strategy stated in the paper is a winwin strategy to meet the requirement of mass and critical performance and ***,based on the existing research and current experiences,the paper also put forward the comprehensive strategy of light-weight technology on lamp,which will be helpful to find a balance between mass,cost and performance during the conception of headlamp in the *** these effort will indicate a brilliant direction for the current unclear market situation on light-weight investigation on lamp.

目前自动化轮毂合件压装机抓取机构卡爪转动销轴弯曲后修复时间长达140分钟,维修时间过长,造成生产线大面积停机。通过改进安装结构,做到5分钟内更换抓取机构总成,降低了设备故障的处理时间,通过改进内部结构,减少抓取机构卡爪转动销轴损坏频次。减少设备的维护工时,提升设备的稳定性,减少设备故障率。
