The rapid advancement of nanotechnology has sparked much interest in applying nanoscale perovskite materials for photodetection *** materials are promising candidates for next-generation photodetectors(pDs)due to their unique optoelectronic properties and flexible synthesis *** review explores the approaches used in the development and use of optoelectronic devices made of different nanoscale perovskite architectures,including quantum dots,nanosheets,nanorods,nanowires,and *** a thorough analysis of recent literature,the review also addresses common issues like the mechanisms underlying the degradation of perovskite pDs and offers perspectives on potential solutions to improve stability and scalability that impede widespread *** addition,it highlights that photodetection encompasses the detection of light fields in dimensions other than light intensity and suggests potential avenues for future research to overcome these obstacles and fully realize the potential of nanoscale perovskite materials in state-of-the-art photodetection *** review provides a comprehensive overview of nanoscale perovskite pDs and guides future research efforts towards improved performance and wider applicability,making it a valuable resource for researchers.

The troposphere and ocean mixed layer were considered as two components of a dynamic system operated by solar radiation as the constant source of energy, where upon an air-sea coupling self-exited coupling oscillation model was based with the aid of a locally averaged thermodynamic climate model, resulting mathematically in a closed self-governed dynamic system, a so-called El Nino-Southern oscillation(ENSo) system. With the limit cycle solution of the system. It is shown that the essential physics of the coupled system can be described by the ENSo system. Compared with the observations, the theoretical limit cycle orbit matches the observed phase loop qualitatively. The ENSo system provides a useful theoretical framework for study of interannual variation of the tropical climate system.

A simple phenomenological model and detailed simulation studies of the breakdown phenomena in argon and nitrogen under the simultaneous action of electric and magnetic fields are presented in this paper. Expressions for the breakdown voltage have been derived taking into account variations of both the ionization coefficient and the secondary electron yield in a magnetic field. Calculations were performed by using XoopIC code, an object oriented particle in Cell code, with both the original and the improved secondary emission model with inclusion of the influence of the magnetic field on the secondary electron production. The simulation results presented here clearly show that the inclusion of the dependence of the secondary electron yield on the magnetic field leads to better agreement with existing experimental results.

The effect of substitution of Fe^(3+) by Al^(3+) on the structure and magnetic properties of NdAl_(x)Fe_(1-x)o_(3) perovskite nano-powders(x=0.0,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4,and 0.5) prepared by the glycine-nitrate auto-combustion method was *** samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX).The magnetic properties of the samples were investigated using a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM).The X-ray results for all samples reveal the formation of an orthorhombic perovskite phase(space group pbnm) with no secondary *** crystallite sizes of the nanoparticles are found to decrease with increasing Al content,and are in the range of 53-38 *** images show spherical nanoparticles with *** FT-IR spectra confirm the presence of metal oxygen *** M-H loop of the pristine NdFeo_(3) sample is antiferromagnetic in the a b plane with weak ferromagnetism in the *** AI inclusions in the pristine polycrystal thereby creating magnetic vacancies is seen to influence the magnetic *** magnetic dilution results in enhanced magnetisation at low Al content;x=0.1,0.2(saturation magnetisation being 2.08 and 2.05 emu/g,respectively) compared to the pristine sample with a saturation magnetisation of 1.43 emu/g due to increased exchange *** dilution with nonmagnetic dopant induces the phase transition from weak ferromagnetic to paramagnetic depending on the impurity *** coercive field for NdFeo_(3) is found to be equal to 1950 oe and decreases with *** findings lay a ground work for research in tuning magnetic properties and in spintronics with potential applications in data storage,switches and electronic devices.

The study analyzes the technical efficiency of vegetable farmers in root and tuber-based farming systems within selected sites of the humid tropics of Cameroon. Multistage sampling was used to collect primary data from a cross-section of vegetable farmers drawn from eight selected sites in Santa sub division, Northwest region of Cameroon. Stochastic frontier analysis was used to estimate the technical efficiency of vegetable farmer and to examine its determinants. The results showed that farmyard manure was the most productive factor input, followed by farm equipment and labor. The mean technical efficiency level was 67%, revealing production shortfalls and indicating possibilities of significantly increasing production with the current input Jevels. Female, as well as more educated farmers were found to be significantly more efficient than their counterparts. The results also showed that farmers become less technical efficient as farm sizes become larger. our study findings suggest that smallholder farmers＇ access to manure, farm implements, and increased women participation in vegetable farming, will produce huge payoffs in vegetable production efficiency in Cameroon.

Extreme weather events,such as floods and droughts,are expected to rise significantly worldwide as a result of climate *** future drought patterns is therefore a key approach for elaborating anticipatory water resources management responses to climate *** this paper,future meteorological drought conditions are investigated based on the SpEI(Standardised precipitation Evapotranspiration Index).This study makes use of observed and projected *** simulated data were retrieved from the CMIp6(Coupled Model Intercomparison project phase 6)over the period 2025-2050,and the Delta change method was adopted to remove the bias in the *** SpEI at various scales has been estimated under four future scenarios(SSp1-2.6,SSp2-4.5,SSp3-7.0 and SSp5-8.5).The trend analysis of the projected SpEI was performed at podified Mann-Kendall)test in order to detect the statistically significant trend of the drought against the null hypothesis of no *** show large variability in the magnitude of drought in the past and *** on SpEI at 24 months accumulation,the result shows that under SSp1-2.6,the basin will experience a wet period during the first decade(SpEI=0.60),the second decade will be dry(SpEI24=-0.43).The remaining years will be also dry(SpEI=-0.34).Under SSp2-4.5,SSp3-7.0 and SSp5-8.5 scenarios,the district will experience a wet period during the first two decades with SpEI ranging from 0.38 to *** wet period will be followed by a dry period under these scenarios ranging from-0.14 ***,under SSps scenarios,two main periods characterized by a rainfall recovery spanning from followed by a moderately prolonged drought are identified within the study *** findings of this study may provide valuable information for developing proactive measures to reduce water insecurity in Fada N’Gourma through effective drought mitigation.
