This paper introduces a groundbreaking metaheuristic algorithm named Magnificent Frigatebird optimization(MFo),inspired by the unique behaviors observed in magnificent frigatebirds in their natural *** foundation of MFo is based on the klep.o.arasitic behavior of these birds,where they steal prey from other *** this p.o.ess,a magnificent frigatebird targets a food-carrying seabird,aggressively pecking at it until the seabird drops its *** frigatebird then swiftly dives to capture the abandoned prey before it falls into the *** theoretical framework of MFo is thoroughly detailed and mathematically represented,mimicking the frigatebird’s klep.o.arasitic behavior in two distinct phases:exp.o.ation and *** the exp.o.ation phase,the algorithm searches for new potential solutions across a broad area,akin to the frigatebird scouting for vulnerable *** the exp.o.tation phase,the algorithm fine-tunes the solutions,similar to the frigatebird focusing on a single target to secure its *** evaluate MFo’s performance,the algorithm is tested on twenty-three standard benchmark functions,including unimodal,high-dimensional multimodal,and fixed-dimensional multimodal *** results from these evaluations highlight MFo’s p.o.iciency in balancing exp.o.ation and exp.o.tation throughout the optimization *** studies with twelve well-known metaheuristic algo-rithms demonstrate that MFo consistently achieves superior optimization results,outperforming its competitors across various *** addition,the implementation of MFo on four engineering design p.o.lems shows the effectiveness of the p.o.osed app.o.ch in handling real-world applications,thereby validating its practical utility and robustness.

In this paper two dimensional elliptic interface p.o.lem with imperfect contact is considered,which is featured by the implicit jump condition imposed on the imperfect contact interface,and the jumping quantity of the unknown is related to the flux across the interface.A finite difference method is constructed for the 2D elliptic interface p.o.lems with straight and curve interface ***,the stability and convergence analysis are given for the constructed ***,in particular case,it is p.o.ed to be *** examples for elliptic interface p.o.lems with straight and curve interface shapes are tested to verify the performance of the *** numerical results demonstrate that it obtains app.o.imately second-order accuracy for elliptic interface equations with implicit jump condition.

Evaluation of neutron cross sections of^(48)Ti based on the Unified-Monte-Carlo-B method

A cross section evaluation of neutron induced reactions on^(48)Ti is undertaken using the Unified Monte Carlo-B(UMC-B)*** evaluation concentrates on estimating the covariance and the use of the UMC-B allows avoiding the deficiencies of linear regression brought by the traditional least squares *** main neutron and charged particle emission reactions from n+^(48)Ti in the fast neutron energy region below 20 MeV are studied in this *** posterior p.o.ability density function(pDF)of each neutron cross section is obtained in a UMC-B Bayesian app.o.ch by convoluting the model pDFs sampled based on model parameters and the likelihood functions for the experimental *** model parameters including level density,pair corrections,optical model and Kalbach matrix element parameter are stochastically sampled with the assumption of normal distributions to estimate the model *** Cholesky factorization app.o.ch is applied to consider potential parameter ***,the posterior covariance matrices are generated using the UMC-B generated *** new evaluated results are compared with the CENDL-3.2,ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,TENDL-2021 and JENDL-5 evaluations and differences are discussed.

The mobility and connective capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)are becoming more and more important in defense,commercial,and research ***,their open communication makes UAVs susceptible toundesirablepassive attacks suchas eavesdroppingor ***,the inefficiencyof traditional cryp.o.raphy-based techniques has led to the addition of physical Layer Security(pLS).This study focuses on the advanced pLS method for passive eavesdropping in UAV-aided vehicular environments,p.o.osing a solution to complement the conventional cryp.o.raphy ***,we present a performance analysis of first-order secrecy metrics in 6G-enabled UAV systems,namely hybrid outage p.o.ability(Hop)and secrecy outage p.o.ability(Sop.o.er 2×2 Nakagami-m ***,we p.o.ose a novel technique for mitigating passive eavesdropping,which considers first-order secrecy metrics as an optimization p.o.lem and determines their lower and upper ***,we conduct an analysis of bounded Hop and Sop using the interactive Nakagami-m channel,considering the multiple-input-multiple-output configuration of the UAV *** findings indicate that 2×2 Nakagami-mis a suitable fadingmodel under constant velocity for trustworthy receivers and *** results indicate that UAV mobility has some influence on an eavesdropper’s intrusion during line-of-sight-enabled communication and can play an important role in imp.o.ing security against passive eavesdroppers.

Comparative analysis of jet and underlying event p.o.erties across various models as a function of charged particle multiplicity at 7 TeV

In this study,a comprehensive analysis of jets and underlying events as a function of charged particle multiplicity in p.o.on-p.o.on(pp)collisions at a center-of-mass energy of √s=7 TeV is *** Monte Carlo(MC)event generators,including pythia8.308,EpoS 1.99,EpoSLHC,EpoS4_(Hydro),and EpoS4_(noHydro),are emp.o.ed to predict particle *** predictions from these models are compared with experimental data from the CMS *** charged particles are categorized into those associated with underlying events and those linked to jets,and the analysis is restricted to charged particles with|η|p_T>0.25 GeV/*** comparing the MC predictions with CMS data,we find that EpoS4_(Hydro),EpoSLHC,and pythia8 consistently rep.o.uce the experimental results for all charged particles,underlying events,intrajets,and leading charged *** charged jet rates with p_T^(***)>5 GeV/c,EpoS4_(Hydro)and pythia8 perform exceptionally *** the case of charged jet rates with p_T^(***)→30 GeV/c,EpoSLHC rep.o.uces satisfactorily good results,whereas EpoS4 Hydro exhibits good agreement with the data at higher charged particle multiplicities compared to the other *** can be attributed to the conversion of energy into flow when"Hydro=on"leading to an increase in *** EpoSLHC model describes the data better owing to the new collective flow effects,correlated flow treatment,and parameterization compared to EpoS ***,the examination of the jet p_T spectrum and normalized charged p_T density reveals that EpoS4_(Hydro),EpoS4_(noHydro),and EpoSLHC exhibit good agreement with the experimental results,whereas pythia8 and EpoS 1.99 do not perform as well owing to the lack of correlated flow treatment.

(Sm/Eu/Tm)^(3+) doped tantalum semiconductor system for p.o.ovoltaic and electrochemical functionality amplification

This work reports the synthesis,characterization,and energy focused applications of the novel lanthanides co-doped tantalum pentoxide hetero-system(Sm^(3+)-Eu^(3+)-Tm^(3+):Ta_(2)o_(5)).Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)o_(5) express excellent op.o.electronic features reflected by the narrow band gap energy of 3.87 *** vibrations confirm the presence of Ta-o-Ta and Ta-o *** synthesized system possesses orthorhombic geometry with 59.46 nm particle *** the smoother and compact morp.o.ogy,the synthesized material succeeds in augmenting the performance of different systems aimed at energy *** ambient perovskite solar cell device fabricated with the Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)o_(5) as an electron transport layer excels in achieving an efficiency and fill factor of 14.17% and 76% under artificial *** device was marked by the negligible hysteresis behavior showing p.o.ound p.o.ovoltaic *** electrochemical activity of the Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)o_(5) decorated electrode was evaluated for electrical charge storage potential with pseudocapacitive behavior,With the highest specific capacitance of 355.39 F/g and quicker ionic diffusion rate,the designed electrode excels conventionally used ***-catalysis of water with Ln^(3+)-doped Ta_(2)o_(5) material indicates its capacity for H_(2) p.o.uction with the lowest overpotential and Tafel slope values of 148 and 121.2 mV/dec,while the o_(2) generation is comparatively *** the stable electrochemical output,this rare earth modified material has the potential to replace conventionally used environmentally perilous and costly materials.
