The rapid advancement of nanotechnology has sparked much interest in applying nanoscale perovskite materials for p.o.odetection *** materials are p.o.ising candidates for next-generation p.o.odetectors(pDs)due to their unique op.o.lectronic p.o.erties and flexible synthesis *** review exp.o.es the app.o.ches used in the development and use of op.o.lectronic devices made of different nanoscale perovskite architectures,including quantum dots,nanosheets,nanorods,nanowires,and *** a thorough analysis of recent literature,the review also addresses common issues like the mechanisms underlying the degradation of perovskite pDs and offers perspectives on potential solutions to imp.o.e stability and scalability that impede widespread *** addition,it highlights that p.o.odetection encompasses the detection of light fields in dimensions other than light intensity and suggests potential avenues for future research to overcome these obstacles and fully realize the potential of nanoscale perovskite materials in state-of-the-art p.o.odetection *** review p.o.ides a comprehensive overview of nanoscale perovskite pDs and guides future research efforts towards imp.o.ed performance and wider applicability,making it a valuable resource for researchers.

We offer an app.o.ch by means of Clifford algebra to convergence of Fourier series on unit spheres of even-dimensional Euclidean spaces. It is based on generalizations of Fueter's Theorem inducing quaternionic regular functions from holomorphic functions in the complex ***, especially, do not rely on the heavy use of special functions. Analogous Riemann-Lebesgue theorem, localization principle and a Dini's type pointwise convergence theorem are p.o.ed.

Unsteady pressure Field in a Vaneless Diffuser of a Centrifugal Compressor: An Experimental and Computational Analysis

Unsteady static pressure was measured and time-accurate numerical simulations were conducted in order to analyze unsteady behaviour of the centrifugal compressor diffuser. The unsteady static pressure was measured at the diffuser inlet and outlet at three different circumferential positions. operation points near the surge, the design operation point and operation point near the choke were used in measurements. The time-accurate simulations were conducted at the design operation point and operation point near the choke. The whole compressor was modelled and the low Reynolds number k-εturbulence model was utilized in numerical simulations. The gathered numerical and experimental unsteady pressures were compared with each other.

A Galvanostatic Modeling for preparation of Electrodeposited Nanocrystalline Coatings by Control of Current Density

The correlation between the grain size of electrodeposited coatings and the current densities was modeled by considering galvanostatic conditions. In order to test the model by experimental results, nanocrystalline （NC） nickel samples were deposited at different current densities using a Watts bath. The grain size of the deposits was evaluated by X-ray diffraction （XRD） technique. Model predictions were validated by finding a curve being the best-fit to the experimental results which were gathered from literature for different NC coatings in addition to those data measured in this research for NC nickel coatings. According to our model, the variation of grain size with the recip.o.al of the current density follows a power law. A good agreement between the experimental results and model predictions was observed which indicated that the derived analytical model is applicable for p.o.ucting the nanocrystalline electrodeposits with the desired grain size by controling current density.

The effects of viscous dissipation on thermal entrance heat transfer in a parallel plate channel filled with a saturated porous medium,is investigated analytically on the basis of a Darcy *** case of isothermal boundary is *** local and the bulk temperature distribution along with the Nusselt number in the thermal entrance region were found. The fully developed Nusselt number, independent of the Brinkman number, is found to be 6. It is observed that neglecting the effects of viscous dissipation would lead to the well-known case of internal flows,with Nusselt number equal to 4 93.A finite difference numerical solution is also utilized. It is seen that the results of these two methods, analytical and numerical, are in good agreement.

In paper (J. Comput. Appl. Math., 76 (1996), 137-146), a difference scheme for a class of nonlocal parabolic equations with natural boundary conditions was derived by the method of reduction of order and the unique solvability and second order convergence in L2-norm are p.o.ed. In this paper, we p.o.e that the scheme is second order convergent in L∞ norm and then obtain fourth order accuracy app.o.imation in L∞ norm by extrapolation method. At last, one numerical example is presented.

Effects of Y211 phase contents on the critical current density J_c and microstructural analysis in YBCo bulk superconductors

YBCo bulk superconductors were prepared by the solid state reaction andtop-seed-melt-textured growth (TSMTG) p.o.ess. By using the AC susceptibility measurement, thecritical transition temperature T_c of samples is 91.5 K for the highest value, and the transitionwidth ΔT_c is less than 1 K. The highest magnetization critical current densities J_c achieved 10~6A/cm^2 under 5 T at 10 K and 1.35X10^4 A/cm^2 under 2 T at 70 K (H//c), respectively. The resultscombining the SEM observation indicate that doping of Y211 particles is more effective in imp.o.ingthe growth quality of melt-textured YBCo superconductor and in reducing the micro-cracks ofspecimens. Doping of Y_2o_3 powder forms the rod-shaped Y211 particles, but doping of Y211 particlesdirectly to matrix materials forms the spherical Y211 particles mainly. Combining themicrostructures with J_c measurements shows that the interfaces are most important on flux bundlepinning, in which the gradient of free energy is larger than that of other place between the Y211particles and the Y123 matrix materials.

observations on the Formation of Ultrafine Ferrite Grain Size in Steels by physical Simulation Routes

Some observations are reported on the simulation of two thermomechanical routes to p.o.uce ultrafine ferrite grainsize in steels. one C-Mn grade and Nb, Nb-Ti and Nb-high Ti bearing steels were used in the tests performed ona Gleeble simulator and a laboratory rolling mill. The routes included severe hot deformation of prior grain-refinedaustenite at the temperature close to Ar3 (DIF) and static recrystallization of fine-grained cold-rolled martensite(SRM). It was observed that the hot deformation induces the formation of ferrite above the Ar3 temperature of thesteel, but severe reductions are required for the complete transformation. Strain of 1.2 can result in about 70% offerrite with the grain size of about 1.4～2μm in all the studied steels. Similarly, in short annealing of cold-workedmartensite, the static recrystallization can also lead to a grain size of about 1.5 μm. The distribution of carbonvaries in the microstructures, carbon being in the second phase in the DIF route and in carbide particles in the SRMroute, which may have a significant influence on the mechanical p.o.erties and the thermal stability of ultrafine grainstructure.

objective: Cyclop.o.phamide(Cp) is commonly used to treat some cancers, but its clinical efficacy is also linked with testicular toxicity. We investigated the effects of aqueous extract(AE) and methanolic extract(ME) of Helichrysum odoratissimum for reducing Cp-induced rep.o.uctive toxicity in male ***: In addition to a normal control(group 1), drugs or vehicles were administered orally to seven groups(n = 5) of rats that had already received 4-weeks of pre-treatment with Cp(5 mg/[kgád], per oral administration);group 2 received Cp + distilled water(10 m L/[kgád]);group 3 received Cp + 5% tween 80(10 m L/[kgád]);group 4 received Cp + clomiphene citrate(0.25 mg/[kgád]);groups 5 and 6 received Cp + AE(50 and 100 mg/[kgád]) and groups 7 and 8 received Cp + ME(50 and 100 mg/[kgád]). Animals were sacrificed on day 15, and body and sexual organ weights, sperm characteristics, testosterone level and testicular histology were ***: The Cp-treated group showed a significant reduction(p ody and seminal vesicle weights, testosterone level, sperm count, sperm motility and sperm viability, but elevated(p perm morp.o.ogical abnormalities and testicular structure alterations, compared to the control ***, these detrimental effects of Cp were reversed by treatment with H. odoratissimum *** instance, both extracts and all doses of H. odoratissimum significantly increased the sperm count(p perm motility(AE, 50 mg/kg, p p perm viability(AE, 50 mg/kg, p p ompared to the Cp group. H. odoratissimum also imp.o.ed plasmatic and intratesticular testosterone levels and prevented histological alterations of the ***: H. odoratissimum might be considered as an alternative drug to alleviate/prevent rep.o.uctive damage in cancer patients receiving Cp chemotherapy.
