Effect of Cutting Techniques on the structure and Magnetic properties of a High-grade Non-oriented Electrical steel

The high grade non-oriented electrical steel sheets containing 3.0%si were manufacturing processed using different cutting techniques, then they were stress relief annealed（sRA）, the profiles and textures of the cutting edges were compared before and after annealing, and the magnetic properties of these specimens were tested and compared. The experimental results show that the iron loss of the specimen by water jet cutting is the lowest, but the magnetic induction under the low magnetic field is the highest, the iron loss of the specimen by laser cutting is the highest, but the magnetic induction under the low magnetic field is the lowest. It is necessary to adopt suitable production conditions and minimize the deterioration involved, and the magnetic property can be recovered by sRA effectively.

Carbon nanotubes （CNTs） have been extensively studied over the last two decades since they possess excellent *** have been considered as new promising reinforcements for carbon containing refractories （CCRs）.Current research progress of the CNT-reinforced MgO-C and Al2O3-C refractories was summarized in this mini-review,and the CNT-reinforced CCRs possess remarkable mechanical properties and superior thermal shock resistance compared to CCRs without CNTs.

The microstructure and properties of phosphate bonded Cr2O3 - -Al2O3 - ZrO2 specimens fired in air or coke bed were investigated firstly. Then property change of the Cr2 O3 - Al2 O3 - ZrO2 bricks after secondary treat- ment in simulation environment was studied. Finally, corrosion resistances of the Cr2 O3 - Al2 O3 - ZrO2 bricks in air and simulation environment were compared; and microstructure of on-site used Cr2O3 - Al2O3 - ZrO2 bricks in slagging gasifiers was analyzed. The results show that the atmosphere has significant effect on the mi- crostructure and properties of the phosphate bonded Cr2O3 -Al2O3 -ZrO2 bricks. As the specimens are fired in air, the phosphate forms a composite solid solution with Cr2 O3 and Al2 O3, therefore, strength of the speci- mens is enhanced. For specimens fired in coke bed, a certain amount of gases are generated owing to the re- duction of phosphate and part of Cr2 O3, which results in the increasing number and size of the pores, bad interfa- cial bonding between Cr2O3 aggregates and matrix as well as low strength of the specimens. during service process in reducing atmosphere, the phosphate binder and part of Cr2O3 in edge of the specimens are a.s. re- duced, leading to significant increase of number and size of the pores in the edge of the specimens; as a result, inreducing atmosphere, the specimens show much worse corrosion resistance than in air.

structurally diverse bispropargyl ethers using resorcinol,quinol,4,4￠-dihydroxy biphenyl,bisphenol-A,4,4￠-dihydroxy diphenyl ketone,4,4￠-dihydroxy diphenylsulphone,trimethyl indane bisphenol and tetramethyl spirobiindane bisphenol were prepared by using phase tra.s.er *** materia.s.were separately blended with 4,4￠-bismaleimido diphenyl methane（BMIM）in mole ratios（0.5：0.5）.The materia.s.were thermally cured and the structural characterisation and the thermal properties of these cross-linked materia.s.are investigated using Fourier-tra.s.orm infrared（FTIR）spectrophotometer and thermogravimetric analyzer（TGA）.Among the different materia.s.investigated poly MRpE,poly MBpEBpA and poly MspE show higher onset degradation temperature of 300°C indicating higher thermal *** degradation kinetics is investigated using Flynn-Wall-Ozawa（FWO）,Vyazovkin（VYZ）and Friedman（FRd）*** the various cured materia.s.investigated,the activation energy（Ea-d）values obtained for poly MRpE and poly MKpE were observed to increase continuously froma=0.2 to 0.8 and the values range from 199 kJ/mol to 245 k J/mol and 153 k J/mol to 295 k J/mol *** crosslinked materia.s.resulting from these bispropargyl monomers definitely need more energy for bond cleavage due to the presence of more aromatic *** volatile products obtained during the thermal degradation of the polymers were analyzed using thermogravimetric-Fourier tra.s.orm infrared analyses（TG-FTIR）.The phenols,substituted phenols,carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide and small amount of aniline were found to be the major products during thermal degradation of these cured blends.

The precipitation behavior of FeTip in interstitial free high strength（IFHs）steels has been studied by using a tra.s.ission electron microscope（TEM）.The results show that the TiC particles,appearing at earlier stage,are more stable than the FeTip ones during recrystallization annealing at the two given temperatures（810℃ and 840℃）.Therefore,the FeTip particles can only be observed in the steels with sufficient amount of *** is a critical forming time for the FeTip,which is between 90-120 sat 810 ℃ and 60-90 sat 840 ℃.The precipitation of FeTip involves two steps,*** formation of FeTi precursors and the diffusion of *** former step determines the reliance of Ti content for the precipitation of FeTip,whereas the latter step lea.s.to the difference in the critical annealing time.

a.s.ract： structure, crystallization and dissolution properties of CaO-MgO-siO2 inorganic gla.s.fiber in the presence of additives （A12O3, Y2O3） were investigated by dTA, XRd, FTIR and ICp-a.s.techniques. The results show that with the addition ofAl2O3 and Y2O3, the gla.s.network structure is strengthened and the precipitation of crysta.s.is inhibited for heat-treated fibers. Compared with Y2O3 doped fibers, AI2O3 presents more significant effects on the enhancement of silica network and the inhibition of crystallization in fibers. As for dissolution properties in physiological fluids, though the weight losses, changes of pH values and leached ions concentration lower slightly with the addition ofA1203 and Y203 for the intensified network structure, and fibers still present high dissolution rates.

An Integrated Approach for Optimal design of Micro Gas Turbine Combustors

The present work presents an approach for the optimized design of small gas turbine combustors, that integrates a0-d code, CFd analyses and an advanced game theory multi-objective optimization algorithm. The output of the0-d code is a baseline design of the combustor, given the required fuel characteristics, the basic geometry (tubularor annular) and the combustion concept (i.e. lean premixed primary zone or diffusive processes). For the optimizationof the baseline design a.s.mplified parametric CAd/mesher model is then defined and submitted to a CFdcode. Free parameters of the optimization process are position and size of the liner hole arra.s. their total area andthe shape of the exit duct, while different objectives are the minimization of NOx emissions, pressure losses andcombustor exit pattern Factor. A 3d simulation of the optimized geometry completes the design procedure. As afirst demonstrative example, the integrated design process was applied to a tubular combustion chamber with alean premixed primary zone for a recuperative methane-fuelled small gas turbine of the 100 kW cla.s.
