Dual-directional regulation of spinal cord injury and the gut microbiota

There is increasing evidence that the gut microbiota affects the incidence and progression of central nervous system diseases via the brain-gut *** spinal cord is a vital important part of the central nervous system;however,the underlying association between spinal cord injury and gut interactions remains *** studies suggest that patients with spinal cord injury frequently experience intestinal dysfunction and gut *** in the gut microbiota can cause disruption in the intestinal barrier and trigger neurogenic inflammatory responses which may impede recovery after spinal cord *** review summarizes existing clinical and basic research on the relationship between the gut microbiota and spinal cord *** research identified three key ***,the gut microbiota in patients with spinal cord injury presents a key characteristic and gut dysbiosis may profoundly influence multiple organs and systems in patients with spinal cord ***,following spinal cord injury,weakened intestinal peristalsis,prolonged intestinal transport time,and immune dysfunction of the intestine caused by abnormal autonomic nerve function,as well as frequent antibiotic treatment,may induce gut ***,the gut microbiota and associated metabolites may act on central neurons and affect recovery after spinal cord injury;cytokines and the Toll-like receptor ligand pathways have been identified as crucial mechanisms in the communication between the gut microbiota and central nervous *** microbiota transplantation,probiotics,dietary interventions,and other therapies have been shown to serve a neuroprotective role in spinal cord injury by modulating the gut *** targeting the gut microbiota or associated metabolites are a promising approach to promote functional recovery and improve the complications of spinal cord injury.

Attribute-Based Access Control for Multi-Authority Systems with Constant Size Ciphertext in Cloud Computing

In most existing CP-ABE schemes, there is only one authority in the system and all the public keys and private keys are issued by this authority, which incurs ciphertext size and computation costs in the encryption and decryption operations that depend at least linearly on the number of attributes involved in the access policy. We propose an efficient multi-authority CP-ABE scheme in which the authorities need not interact to generate public information during the system initialization phase. Our scheme has constant ciphertext length and a constant number of pairing computations. Our scheme can be proven CPA-secure in random oracle model under the decision q-BDHE assumption. When user's attributes revocation occurs, the scheme transfers most re-encryption work to the cloud service provider, reducing the data owner's computational cost on the premise of security. Finally the analysis and simulation result show that the schemes proposed in this thesis ensure the privacy and secure access of sensitive data stored in the cloud server, and be able to cope with the dynamic changes of users' access privileges in large-scale systems. Besides, the multi-authority ABE eliminates the key escrow problem, achieves the length of ciphertext optimization and enhances the effi ciency of the encryption and decryption operations.

EBS-Based Collusion Resistant Group Key Management Using Attribute-Based Enc ryption

The m ajor advantages of EBS-based key rrkanagerrent scheme are its enhanced network survivability, high dynamic performance, and better support for network expansion. But it suffers from the collusion problem, which means it is prone to the cooperative attack of evicted members. A novel EBS-based collusion resistant group management scheme utilizing the construction of Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption （CP-ABE） is proposed. The new scheme satisfies the desired security properties, such as forward secrecy, backward secrecy and collusion secrecy. Compared with existing EBS-based key rmnagement scheme, the new scheme can resolve EBS collusion problem completely. Even all evicted members work together, and share their individual piece of information, they could not access to the new group key. In addition, our scheme is more efficient in terms of conmnication and computation overhead when the group size is large. It can be well controlled even in the case of large-scale application scenarios.

Experience Overview of Foreign Teachers in the Allocation of Resources of Compulsory Education Stage

This article briefly introduces the successful experience of American ＂Compensatory Education Program＂, British ＂Education Action Zone＂, French＂Priority Education Zone Policy＂ and Japanese ＂Regular Flow of TeachersSystem＂, which are about the optimal allocation of compulsory education teacher resources allocation. Corresponding enlightenment has been gotten based on it. In addition, this article holds the opinion that we can focus on the reference and practice of Japan, and implement the regular flow of teachers. The main reason is that China has possessed the key condition of carrying out this system.

Interpretation on Cultural Conflicts between America and China and the Conflict Root Cause Reflected in The Joy Luck Club

This paper is mainly written to explore how cultural differences and clashes between America and China give rise to mother-daughter discords and conflicts. The paper was conducted based on the definition of culture in order to make clear of cultural conflicts. It is written to analyze the two groups of women immigrants unavoidably encountering the clash between their ancestral culture—Chinese culture and the dominant culture--American culture. Furthermore, the paper demonstrates that the mothers' Chinese roots are the root cause of misunderstandings and conflicts between their American-born daughters and ***, the writer analyzes that different standpoints towards education value between mothers and American- born daughters cause their misunderstanding and conflicts. The conclusion is that the diversities between Chinese culture and American culture are the root cause for the mother-daughter discords and conflicts.
