In network-connected UAV(NCUAV) communication systems, user authentication is replaced by platform identity authentication and integrity check because many NC-UAVs are operated without human intervention. Direct anonymous attestation(DAA) is an attractive cryptographic scheme that provides an elegant balance between platform authentication and anonymity. However, because of the low-level computing capability and limited transmission bandwidth in UAV, the existing DAA schemes are not suitable for NC-UAV communication systems. In this paper, we propose an enhanced DAA scheme with mutual authentication(MA-DAA scheme), which meets the security requirements of NC-UAV communication systems. The proposed MA-DAA scheme, which is based on asymmetric pairings, bundles the identities of trusted platform module(TPM) and Host to solve the malicious module changing attacks. Credential randomization, batch proof and verification, and mutual authentication are realized in the MA-DAA scheme. The computational workload in TPM and Host is reduced in order to meet the low computation and resource requirements in TPM and *** entire scheme and protocols are presented,and the security and efficiency of the proposed MA-DAA scheme are proved and *** experiment results also confirm the high efficiency of the proposed scheme.

Because governments have introduced policies involving incentives and penalties to promote the recycling of plastic waste,it is important to understand the impact of such incentives and penalties on the willingness of stakeholders to *** this study,government is included as a player,alongside waste collectors and recyclers,in a tripartite evolutionary game model of plastic waste *** study explores the evolutionary equilibrium and performs a simulation analysis to elucidate the effect of government incentives and penalties on the willingness of other players to participate in *** conclusions are drawn from this ***,an increase in incentives or in penalties increases the probability that collectors and recyclers will participate in the recycling ***,policy support incentives encourage collectors and recyclers to participate in plastic waste recycling earlier than subsidy incentives ***,recyclers are more sensitive than collectors to government-imposed penalties.

How to deal with the collaboration between task decomposition and task scheduling is the key problem of the integrated manufacturing system for complex products. With the development of manufacturing technology, we can probe a new way to solve this problem. Firstly, a new method for task granularity quantitative analysis is put forward, which can precisely evaluate the task granularity of complex product cooperation workflow in the integrated manufacturing system, on the above basis; this method is used to guide the coarse-grained task decomposition and recombine the subtasks with low cohesion coefficient. Then, a multi-objective optimieation model and an algorithm are set up for the scheduling optimization of task scheduling. Finally, the application feasibility of the model and algorithm is ultimately validated through an application case study.

Continuous seismic observations can record seismic waveforms, and ambient noise, for the purposes of earthquake researches and other applications. Here we deploy three digital seismometers(EPS-2) in and around the Nanwangshan Campus of the China University of Geosciences(Wuhan). This network was running from April 9 to May 9 of 2018. During this period, the seismometers recorded the May 4, 2018 M6.9 Hawaii earthquake. From the recorded waveforms, we could observe clearly the P and S arrivals, and the corresponding particle motions. Analysis of continuous observations of ambient noise shows obvious fluctuation of vibration intensity inside of the campus. The campus is quietest from 0 to 5 am. From 5 am on, the vibration intensity increases, and reaches the peak of entire day at 12 am. The amplitude then decreases to a very low level at 19:30 to 20:00 pm, and reaches another strong noisy time at 21:00 to 21:30 pm. After 21:30 pm, the intensity goes down slowly. We also observed seismic signals that were generated by the interaction of speed-control hump cars and ground. By taking the envelope and smooth operations, we observe different characteristics for different car speeds, which suggests that seismic monitoring approaches can be used for speed measurement of cars. This kind of small seismic network running in a real time fashion, would greatly help understanding of the sources of ambient noise at high frequency bands in interested areas. Analysis of a long-term observed dataset, and real time illustration will help to strengthen campus security and high-precision laboratory deployments, and also contribute to research atmosphere in earthquake science.

With strong government advocacy and encouragement,many manufacturers hope to enter the remanufacturing *** who have entered the remanufacturing market hope to increase their profits through effective *** game-theoretic models,this study investigates manufacturers’conditions for introducing remanufactured products and the production decisions after the introduction by constructing a consumer utility *** study demonstrates that manufacturers’decision-making method directly affects their decision to introduce remanufactured *** a manufacturer plans to introduce remanufactured products,they should adopt a centralized decision-making method for the two *** this decision-making method,when the ratio of the government subsidy to the cost of new products is not too large or too small,the manufacturer can introduce remanufactured ***,the range of the ratio of the government subsidy to the cost of new products is related to the difference between the ratio of the cost of remanufactured products to that of new products and the substitutability of the remanufactured ***,when formulating a subsidy,the government should control it within a reasonable range and formulate differentiated subsidy strategies based on different enterprises’specific conditions to give full play to the benefits of the government ***,after the manufacturer has introduced remanufactured products,the consumer surplus and manufacturer’s profit increase with the government ***,social welfare increases only when the government subsidy is within a reasonable ***,compared with subsidizing consumers,it is found that subsidizing the manufacturer does not affect their profit,the consumer surplus,and social welfare;however,the range within which the manufacturer can introduce remanufactured products narrows.

Multi-Objective Low Carbon Vehicle Routing for Cold chain Distribution with Customer Time Loss Aversion

The elevated refrigeration expenses linked to cold chain distribution contribute to increased overall logistics costs and carbon ***,the sensitivity of consumers to delivery delays also impacts the design of cold chain distribution *** paper considers the logistics costs of cold chain,consumer time loss aversion,and the efficiency of low-carbon distribution to construct a multi-objective cold chain vehicle routing *** combines a decomposition-based multi-objective solution algorithm and fruit fly optimization algorithm to solve the proposed model,and validates the algorithm and model through a large number of numerical ***,our computations of the C-metric,IGD value,Hypervolumn,and CPU time demonstrate that the algorithm employed in this study has yielded notable advantages in terms of convergence and the overall performance of the non-dominated ***,we find that increasing logistics satisfaction requires a significant investment in logistics costs,thus requiring a delicate balance between logistics expenditure and service ***,we used a typical example to analyze the size of different cost modules in cold chain distribution and find that vehicles can optimize their routes without needing to make extensive diversions to reach distant customers,ultimately leading to reduced fuel consumption and carbon ***,the traditional assumption that a higher utilization of logistics vehicles results in increased carbon emissions and fuel usage is not universally *** research contributes to the current balance between cold chain costs and consumer satisfaction in cold chain ***,leveraging multi-objective algorithm design,we provide feasible solutions for current cold chain delivery ***,by incorporating consumer time loss aversion model,we aid in understanding the impact of consumer behavior on the design of cold chain delivery solutions.

Stochastic Joint Replenishment Optimization under Joint Inbound operational Cost

With e-commerce concentrating retailers and customers onto one platform,logistics companies(e.g.,JD Logistics)have launched integrated supply chain solutions for corporate customers(e.g.,online retailers)with warehousing,transportation,last-mile delivery,and other value-added *** platform’s concentration of business flows leads to the consolidation of logistics resources,which allows us to coordinate supply chain operations across different corporate *** paper studies the stochastic joint replenishment problem of coordinating multiple suppliers and multiple products to gain the economies of scale of the replenishment setup cost and the warehouse inbound operational *** this end,we develop stochastic joint replenishment models based on the general-integer policy(SJRM-GIP)for the multi-supplier and multi-product problems and further reformulate the resulted nonlinear optimization models into equivalent mixed integer second-order conic programs(MISOCPs)when the inbound operational cost takes the square-root ***,we propose generalized Benders decomposition(GBD)algorithms to solve the MISOCPs by exploiting the Lagrangian duality,convexity,and submodularity of the *** reduce the computational burden of the SJRM-GIP,we further propose an SJRM based on the power-of-two policy and extend the proposed GBD *** numerical experiments based on practical datasets show that the stochastic joint replenishment across multiple suppliers and multiple products would deliver 13∼20%cost savings compared to the independent replenishment benchmark,and on average the proposed GBD algorithm based on the enhanced gradient cut can achieve more than 90%computational time reduction for large-size problem instances compared to the Gurobi *** power-of-two policy is capable of providing high-quality solutions with high computational efficiency.

Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award-BNQA-SA was introduced in 1987 in US companies to create overall excellence in all parts of an organisation, leading to “integrated companies” as the ultimate goal for sustained performance by using the Baldrige Excellence Framework (BEF). The “Balanced Score Cards” (BSC) methodology, as an instrument of designing, cascading and communicating strategy, was introduced in 1992. operations excellence is an outcome of a well-designed, monitored and implemented operations strategy (OS). This paper traces the evolution of an “OS Wheel” model of operations strategy, for continuous manufacturing industries (CMI), deployed using the BEF, using BSC’s, to achieve performance excellence and sustained competitive advantage. The model was applied in a large scale, CMI company in India, over a period of fifteen years (a longitudinal study), the description of which will demonstrate its utility.
