Fluid and effective fracture identification in reservoirs is a crucial part of reservoir *** frequency-dependent AVO inversion algorithms have proven to be effective for identifying fluid through its dispersion ***,the conventional frequency-dependent AVO inversion algorithms based on Smith&Gidlow and Aki&Richards approximations do not consider the acquisition azimuth of seismic data and neglect the effect of seismic anisotropic dispersion in the actual *** aligned fractures in the subsurface medium induce *** seismic anisotropy should be considered while accounting for the seismic dispersion properties through fluid-saturated fractured *** in such reservoirs is frequency-related due to wave-induced fluid-flow(WIFF)between interconnected fractures and *** can be used to identify fluid and effective fractures(fluid-saturated)by using azimuthal seismic data via anisotropic dispersion *** this paper,based on Rüger’s equation,we derived an analytical expression in the frequency domain for the frequencydependent AVOAz inversion in terms of fracture orientation,dispersion gradient of isotropic background rock,anisotropic dispersion gradient,and the dispersion at a normal incident *** frequency-dependent AVOAz equation utilizes azimuthal seismic data and considers the effect of both isotropic and anisotropic *** Gabor Transform(RGT)is used to achieve highresolution frequency division *** then propose the frequency-dependent AVOAz inversion method to identify fluid and characterize effective fractures in fractured porous *** application to high-qualified seismic data of dolomite and carbonate reservoirs,the results show that the method is useful for identifying fluid and effective fractures in fluid-saturated fractured rocks.

An integrated geological-petrophysical analysis of the rudist-bearing sequence of the Cretaceous Sarvak Formation is given one giant oilfield,and provides an improved understanding of this main reservoir in the Abadan Plain,in the Zagros Basin,SW *** main objective of this study is to evaluate reservoir potential of the Sarvak Formation,and then to utilize the calibrated well log signature to correlate reservoir potential in un-cored *** main facies are recognized and categorized in five facies groups:lagoon,shoal,rudist-biostrome,slope,and shallow open marine,deposited on a shelf carbonate *** the distribution of diagenetic products and their effects on pore systems,three diagenetic facies namely,(DF-1)low dissolution and cementation;(DF-2);high dissolution;and(DF-3)high cementation are *** initial sedimentary characteristics in combination with distribution of diagenetic products play an important role in reservoir quality *** effect of diagenetic processes related to disconformities mainly depends on the facies nature below these ***-dominated facies of shoal and rudist debris,observed below the Cenomanian–Turonian disconformity,are mostly characterized by high dissolution and interconnected pore ***,depositional and diagenetic facies in the studied wells are correlated by petrophysical well log data,leading to distribution of the reservoir *** obtained can be utilized for efficient reservoir characterization of the Sarvak Formation and its equivalent units in the Arabian Plate.

Utilization of Fungi for the Biological Control of Insect Pests and Ganoderma Disease in the Indonesian oil Palm Industry

Biological control is usually the first choice of control and prevention method for integrated pest management （IPM） strategies and has now been widely implemented by Indonesian oil palm plantations. Entomopathogenic fungus, i.e., Metarhizium anisopliae, Cordyceps militaris and Beauveria bassiana have been demonstrated to control renowned pests of oil palm. Metarhizium has been used to control Oryctes larvae and the mortality has ranged from 91.67% to 100% in laboratory and 7.4% to 88.75% in the field. Metarhizium has been applied in combination with a termite baiting system （TBS） to control termites in the field for preventive and curative action as well. In many oil palm plantations in Indonesia, Cordyceps has been used to reduce the field moth population ofSetothosea asigna. Application of Cordyceps within the oil palm circle was able to infect S. asigna pupae up to 80%. Meanwhile, Beauveria in an effervescent formulation was demonstrated to have better efficacy on Darna trima larvae. A significant finding on the biological control of basal stem rot disease （Ganoderma） was the isolation of Trichoderma sp. and Gliocladium sp.. The efficacy was conducted with promising result and techniques on the application of Triehoderma have been developed, i.e., hole-in-hole system, surgery and a mounding method. However, as the roots developed, Trichoderma was no longer able to protect the palm from Ganoderma. In spite of that, the use of Trichoderma still prolonged the life ofoil palms by up to 2-3 years. Another fungi belonging to vesicular arbuscular mychorrhiza （VAM） has been developed to control Ganoderma. The efficacy in the nursery showed promising results and the Ganoderma incidence remained low compared to the untreated control. Large scale field trials are ongoing. This paper depicts a brief review on the applications of packed supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) in palm oil analyses and purifications from early 1990s to date. Packed SFC has been used for the analyses of various palm oil components. The analytical separations have also been scaled up to preparative scale that leads to the recovery of high value components from palm oil. This review encompasses both analytical and preparative SFC in the oil palm processing.

Metal confinement catalyst Mo S_(2)/Pt@TD-6%Ti(TD,TS-1/Dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticles composite) in dendritic hierarchical pore structures was synthesized and showed excellent sulfur-resistance performance and stabilities in catalytic hydrodesulfurization reactions of probe sulfide *** Mo S_(2)/Pt@TD-6%Ti catalyst combines the concepts of Pt-confinement effect and hydrogen spillover of Pt noble *** modified micropores of Mo/Pt@TD-6%Ti only allow the migration and dissociation of small H_(2) molecules(0.289 nm),and effectively keep the sulfur-containing compounds(e.g.H_(2)S,0.362 nm) ***,the Mo S_(2)/Pt@TD-6%Ti catalyst exhibits higher DBT and 4,6-DMDBT HDS activities because of the synergistic effect of the strong H_(2) dissociation ability of Pt and desulfurization ability of Mo S_(2) with a lower catalyst *** new concept combining H2dissociation performance of noble metal catalyst with the desulfurization ability of transition metal sulfide Mo S_(2) can protect the noble metal catalyst avoiding deactivation and poison,and finally guarantee the higher activities for DBT and 4,6-DMDBT HDS.

The rational design of double active sites system is vital for constructing high-efficiency iron sulfides electrocatalysts towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) in alkaline media. However, it remains a challenge to controllably create the high-density interface of double sites for optimal synergistic ***, we reported a simple chemical oxidation-induced surface reconfiguration strategy to obtain the interface-rich Fe_(3)O_(4)-FeS nanoarray supported on iron foam(Fe_(3)O_(4)-FeS/IF) using FeS nanosheets as precursors. The abundant Fe_(3)O_(4)-FeS interfaces could improve the dispersion of active sites and facilitate the electron transfer, leading to enhanced hydrogen evolution efficiency. And meanwhile, by altering the oxidation temperature, the content of S and O could be effectively controlled, further achieving the ratio optimization of Fe_(3)O_(4)to FeS. Synchrotron-based X-ray absorption near-edge structure, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy consistently confirm the changes of electronic structure and d-band center of Fe_(3)O_(4)-FeS after chemical oxidation. Consequently, Fe_(3)O_(4)-FeS/IF exhibits excellent alkaline HER activity with a low overpotential of 120.8 mV to reach 20 mA cm^(-2),and remains stable ranging from 10, 20 to 50 mA cm^(-2) for each 20 h, respectively. Therefore, the facile and controllable chemical oxidation may be an effective strategy for designing high-density interfaces of transition metal-based sulfides towards alkaline HER.

Background The prospective association of dietary thiamine intake with the risk of cognitive decline among the general older adults remains *** To investigate the association between dietary thiamine intake and cognitive decline in cognitively healthy,older Chinese *** The study included a total of 3106 participants capable of completing repeated cognitive function *** nutrient intake information was collected through 3-day dietary recalls and using a 3-day food-weighed method to assess cooking oil and condiment *** decline was defined as the 5-year decline rate in global or composite cognitive scores based on a subset of items from the Telephone Interview for Cognitive *** The median follow-up duration was 5.9 *** was a J-shaped relationship between dietary thiamine intake and the 5-year decline rate in global and composite cognitive scores,with an inflection point of 0.68 mg/day(95%confidence interval(Cl):0.56 to 0.80)and a minimal risk at 0.60-1.00 mg/day of dietary thiamine *** the inflection point,thiamine intake was not significantly associated with cognitive *** the inflection point,each unit increase in thiamine intake(mg/day)was associated with a significant decrease of 4.24(95%Cl:2.22 to 6.27)points in the global score and 0.49(95%Cl:0.23 to 0.76)standard units in the composite score within 5 years.A stronger positive association between thiamine intake and cognitive decline was observed in those with hypertension,obesity and those who were non-smokers(all p<0.05).Conclusions This study revealed a J-shaped association between dietary thiamine intake and cognitive decline in cognitively healthy,older Chinese individuals,with an inflection point at 0.68 mg/day and a minimal risk at 0.60-1.00 mg/day of dietary thiamine intake.

Palm-based dihydroxystearic acid of 69.55% purity was produced in a 500-kg-per-batch operation pilot plant and purified through solvent crystallization in a custom fabricated simultaneous batch crystallizer unit. The effects of temperature and solvent concentration on yield, particle size distribution and purity were studied. The purity was higher, while the yield and particle size were lower and smaller, respectively, at higher temperature and solvent concentration. The solvent crystallization process efficiency was rated at 66-69% when carried out with 70-80% isopropyl alcohol at 20℃.

Porous niobium oxide nanowires synthesized via a solvothermal method exhibited decreased bandgap,en- hanced light absorption and reduced charge-recombination *** porous Nb2O5 nanowires showed increased performance for the photocatalytic H2 evolution and photo- degradation of rhodamine B,as compared to their solid counterparts,which could be ascribed to the peculiar porous nanostructure.
