In 2021,China’s domestically produced coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)vaccines received approval from regulatory bodies and were administered *** to a low number of infections within China during that period,it became imperative to evaluate the vaccines’real-world effectiveness through international *** facilitate this,China CDC launched the COVID-19 Vaccines Evaluation Program(COVEP).This program formed research collaboration agreements with health institutes across five World Health Organization regions,addressing key questions about vaccine performance through ten cooperative *** findings from COVEP projects reinforced confidence,both domestically and globally,in the effectiveness of the vaccines produced in ***,the outcomes observed internationally were frequently mirrored by later studies conducted within *** thus pioneered a novel approach for fostering cross-national research collaborations,addressing significant public health issues and exemplifying a framework for international *** approach is in line with the strategic objectives and other development efforts of China CDC’s national disease control and prevention initiatives.

Dual-directional regulation of spinal cord injury and the gut microbiota

There is increasing evidence that the gut microbiota affects the incidence and progression of central nervous system diseases via the brain-gut *** spinal cord is a vital important part of the central nervous system;however,the underlying association between spinal cord injury and gut interactions remains *** studies suggest that patients with spinal cord injury frequently experience intestinal dysfunction and gut *** in the gut microbiota can cause disruption in the intestinal barrier and trigger neurogenic inflammatory responses which may impede recovery after spinal cord *** review summarizes existing clinical and basic research on the relationship between the gut microbiota and spinal cord *** research identified three key ***,the gut microbiota in patients with spinal cord injury presents a key characteristic and gut dysbiosis may profoundly influence multiple organs and systems in patients with spinal cord ***,following spinal cord injury,weakened intestinal peristalsis,prolonged intestinal transport time,and immune dysfunction of the intestine caused by abnormal autonomic nerve function,as well as frequent antibiotic treatment,may induce gut ***,the gut microbiota and associated metabolites may act on central neurons and affect recovery after spinal cord injury;cytokines and the Toll-like receptor ligand pathways have been identified as crucial mechanisms in the communication between the gut microbiota and central nervous *** microbiota transplantation,probiotics,dietary interventions,and other therapies have been shown to serve a neuroprotective role in spinal cord injury by modulating the gut *** targeting the gut microbiota or associated metabolites are a promising approach to promote functional recovery and improve the complications of spinal cord injury.

Strategic active site organization is imperative for the advancement of effective and long-lasting catalysts of oxygen reduction ***,the controllable multi-active site design is a highly intricate topic for catalyst *** pre-trapping and post-activation strategy,Fe-N bonding structure and S,Se functionalized heteroatom are integrated into a conductive porous *** this process,the nitrogen-abundant polymer 1,3,5-triformylbenzene-tris(4-aminophenyl)benzene(Tf-TAPA)adsorbs Fe^(3+)under the intrinsically metal anchoring ability of N atoms and simultaneously in-situ assembles longchain ***,the Fe^(3+)is transformed into Fe-N_(x)moieties with the conversion of the organic chain to incompletely graphitized ***,the alteration of the electronic configuration achieved through the introduction of dual-atom S and Se leads to a pronounced enhancement in catalytic *** from the Fe-N_(x)bonding structure,dense structural defects,and conductive carbon networks,the resultant Fe-S,Se/NCNs possesses a positive half-wave potential of 0.86 V and a 90%current retention rate,outstripping the Pt/C ***,the liquid and flexible ZAB driven by Fe-S,Se/NCNs achieves large power densities of 259.7 and 164.7 m W/cm^(2),*** study provides a new comprehension in developing an efficient and stable M-N-C oxygen electrocatalyst.

Network-based structure optimization method of the anti-aircraft system

The anti-aircraft system plays an irreplaceable role in modern combat. An anti-aircraft system consists of various types of functional entities interacting to destroy the hostile aircraft moving in high speed. The connecting structure of combat entities in it is of great importance for supporting the normal process of the system. In this paper, we explore the optimizing strategy of the structure of the anti-aircraft network by establishing extra communication channels between the combat ***, the thought of combat network model(CNM) is borrowed to model the anti-aircraft system as a heterogeneous network. Secondly, the optimization objectives are determined as the survivability and the accuracy of the system. To specify these objectives, the information chain and accuracy chain are constructed based on CNM. The causal strength(CAST) logic and influence network(IN) are introduced to illustrate the establishment of the accuracy chain. Thirdly, the optimization constraints are discussed and set in three aspects: time, connection feasibility and budget. The time constraint network(TCN) is introduced to construct the timing chain and help to detect the timing consistency. Then, the process of the multi-objective optimization of the structure of the anti-aircraft system is ***, a simulation is conducted to prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method. Non-dominated sorting based genetic algorithm-Ⅱ(NSGA2) is used to solve the multiobjective optimization problem and two other algorithms including non-dominated sorting based genetic algorithm-Ⅲ(NSGA3)and strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm-Ⅱ(SPEA2) are employed as comparisons. The deciders and system builders can make the anti-aircraft system improved in the survivability and accuracy in the combat reality.

Cities are increasingly vital in global carbon mitigation efforts,yet few have specifically tailored carbon neutrality ***,out-of-boundary indirect greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,aside from those related to electricity and heat imports,are often overlooked in existing pathways,despite their significance in comprehensive carbon mitigation *** this gap,here we introduce an integrated analysis framework focusing on both production and consumption-related GHG *** to Wuyishan,a service-oriented city in Southern China,this framework provides a holistic view of a city's carbon neutrality pathway,from a full-scope GHG emission *** findings reveal the equal importance of carbon reduction within and outside the city's boundaries,with out-of-boundary emissions accounting for 42%of Wuyishan's present total GHG *** insight highlights the necessity of including these external factors in GHG accounting and mitigation strategy *** framework serves as a practical tool for cities,particularly in developing countries,to craft effective carbon neutrality roadmaps that encompass the full spectrum of GHG emissions.

Massive open online courses(MOOC)have recently gained worldwide attention in the field of *** manner of MOOC provides a new option for learning various kinds of knowledge.A mass of data miming algorithms have been proposed to analyze the learner’s characteristics and classify the learners into different ***,most current algorithms mainly focus on the final grade of the learners,which may result in an improper *** overcome the shortages of the existing algorithms,a novel multi-feature weighting based K-means(MFWK-means)algorithm is proposed in this *** between the widely used feature grade and other features are first investigated,and then the learners are classified based on their grades and weighted features with the proposed MFWK-means *** results with the Canvas Network Person-Course(CNPC)dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our ***,a comparison between the new MFWK-means and the traditional K-means clustering algorithm is implemented to show the superiority of the proposed method.

Image smoothing of multispectral imagery based on the HNN and geo-statistics

A new method for image down-scaling using geostatistical interpolation or smoothing based on the Hopfield Neural Network(HNN) and zero semivariance value is *** method utilises the smoothing effect of the semivariogram matching process to produce the smoothened sub-pixel multispectral(MS) image with smaller RMSEs in comparison with the bilinear *** fact,the zero semivariograms increase the spatial correlation between the adjacent sub-pixels of the superresolution *** higher spatial correlation,the resulting super-resolution MS image has smaller RMSEs compared with the original coarse image.
