Along with the“massification”of higher education in China since the late 1990s,the issue of quality and excellence appeared at the top of China's higher education *** faculty evaluation of teaching is one of the major approaches adopted by China's higher education sector to pursue quality and excellence,it is valuable to examine the effectiveness of faculty evaluation of teaching practices adopted by the Chinese higher education institutions(HEIs).Study of current literature reveals some similarities and differences between the faculty evaluation of teaching policies and practices between Chinese and American higher education *** paper examines the specific practices adopted by some top-tier Chinese HEIs and American elite colleges and universities,summarizes and analyzes the major differences and similarities of faculty evaluation of teaching practices between these two countries'top-tier HEIs,and discusses the applicability of the American models to the Chinese setting of higher ***,a set of best practices regarding faculty evaluation of teaching are proposed for Chinese HEIs.

Analysis of the Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Psychological Well-Being of Elderly People in the Community

Objective:To investigate the current psychological well-being of older people in the community and analyze its influencing ***:A total of 265 community-dwelling older adults aged 60 and above in Baoding City,Hebei Province,were selected through convenience sampling from November 2023 to March *** were surveyed using a general information questionnaire and a comprehensive well-being questionnaire,with results analyzed statistically using SPSS ***:Six dimensions of the psychological well-being scale for community older adults were identified:life vitality(P50=4.83),health concern(P50=4.6),self-worth(P50=5.6),friendly relationships(P50=5.33),altruistic behavior(P50=5.2),personality growth(P50=4.67),and comprehensive well-being(P50=161).Multivariate regression analysis showed that social isolation(β=-0.021,Paid(β=0.192,Pfinancial support could improve psychological well-being in older adults.

Evaluation of Key Players of Longganisa (Pork Sausage) Industry in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines

The objective of the research was to assess the major participants in the Longganisa (Pork Sausage) industry in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The study employed direct interviews using a structured survey questionnaire, targeting input providers, growers, hog dealers/traders, processors, vendors, and consumers. These interviews helped to map out the specific value chain for Longganisa in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. Recommendations were provided to address the identified gaps and enhance the Longganisa industry in Cabanatuan City. The Longganisa industry serves as a valuable means of livelihood and income for small-scale meat processors and vendors in the city. The support provided by the Local Government Unit (LGU), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Cabanatuan City Supermarket Vendors Multi-Purpose Cooperative (C2SVMPC) has proven immensely beneficial to the Longganisa industry. This support encompasses technical assistance, financial aid, promotional activities, and the provision of facilities, all aimed at enhancing the industry’s adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and overall improvement.

China's financial Contribution to International Environmental Cooperation and Preliminary Design of Future Environmental financial Governance

China has always been making contributions and sharing experiences,within its capacity,to promote international environmental cooperation,however,being questioned for its role as a recipient country by the rest of the world has caused huge obstacles in the way of international *** paper will test out China’s historical financial contribution to main multilateral cooperation platforms and will eliminate the misunderstanding about China ’s role in international environmental and climate change cooperation in recent years through comparing with cases of other ***,Principal Component Analysis is conducted using the UN Millennium Development Goals as evaluation criteria to assess sample countries’ comprehensive development *** on this analysis,combining the result with historical per capita CO;emission level of these countries,with the aid of K-means clustering,this paper sorts these sample countries into groups,with a view to designing a preliminary environmental financial governance mechanism for international cooperation under the principal of "common but differentiated responsibility",providing reference for finance-related negotiations and consultations under Durban Platform of UNFCCC which is working on boosting a new protocol and *** legal documents will be completed by 2015 and will come into effect in 2020.
