Selecting suitable key supplier for core components during smart complex equipment central-private enterprises collaborative development process:from two different forms of evaluation information and matching perspective

With the development of central-private enterprises integration,selecting suitable key suppliers are able to provide core components for smart complex equipment.We consider selecting suitable key suppliers from matching perspective,for it not only satisfies natural development of smart complex equipment,it is also a good implementation of equipment project in central-private enterprises integration context.In in this paper,we carry out two parts of research,one is evaluation attributes based on comprehensive analysis,and the other is matching process between key suppliers and core components based on the matching attribute.In practical analysis process,we employ comprehensive evaluated analysis methods to acquire relevant attributes for the matching process that follows.In the analysis process,we adopt entropy-maximum deviation method(MDM)-decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory(DEMATEL)-technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution(TOPSIS)to obtain a comprehensive analysis.The entropy-MDM is applied to get weight value,DEMATEL is utilized to obtain internal relations,and TOPSIS is adopted to get ideal evaluated solution.We consider aggregating two types of evaluation information according to similarities of smart complex equipment based on the combination between geometric mean and arithmetic mean.Moreover,based on the aforementioned attributes and generalized power Heronian mean operator,we aggregate preference information to acquire relevant satisfaction degree,then combine the constructed matching model to get suitable key supplier.Through comprehensive analysis of selecting suitable suppliers,we know that two-sided matching and information aggregation can provide more research perspectives for smart complex equipment.Through analysis for relevant factors,we find that leading role and service level are also significant for the smart complex equipment development process.

Background: NHS Walk- in Centres (WiCs) are a new and expanding point of nurse- led primary care access for patients requiring skin care. Little is known about the dermatology case profile of such patients. Objectives: To investigate the skin care patient mix attending a WiC and the feasibility and usefulness of retrieving data from the NHS Clinical Assessment System (CAS), as used by NHS Direct. Methods: Patients over 2 years of age presenting to a WiC in southern England with a nurseassessed skin condition were recruited over a 12- week period (n = 233). A data set was extracted from CAS and analysed using Excel. Results: Of the total 31 591 patients attending the WiC in the first 2 years, 21% had a skin- related problem. During the 12- week study period, 88 of 233 eligible patients (38% ) consented to participate. The typical patient profile was of female patients, 17- 35 years (27% ) attending during theweek before 9 a.m. (35% ) or after 5 p.m. (27% ) from the locality (72% ). CAS employs generic algorithms to specify clinical problems (e.g. rash) rather than medical diagnoses. Most patients presented with a rash (89% ). No physical treatment was required in 77% of patients, although this was advised for 46% ; 49% were advised to seek help but not return to the WiC; 16% were recommended to contact their general practitioner. There were practical difficulties accessing data from CAS software for research due to research governance requirements. Conclusions: A significant number of patients with dermatological conditions could be seeking primary care through new NHS WiCs. Detailed dermatological appraisal of the patient mix is difficult due to the system of clinical categorization. There is scope to investigate further the nature of dermatological need and the patient education given. CAS is a cumbersome data extraction tool for research.

Bibliometrics analysis of applied nursing personnel training in China

Objective:To make a visual analysis of literature metrology on the training of applied nursing talents in China,to clarify the research hotspots and development trends,and to provide basic information for the education and teaching reform of applied nursing talents in China.Methods:The literature related to the training of applied nursing talents in China was retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang,Weipu database.NoteExpress was used for removing duplicates,and Bicomb2.0 was used to extract key fields and generate word matrix,which was imported into gCluto1.0 for double cluster analysis.Results:Finally,675 articles met the inclusion and exclusion criteria,the number of articles is increasing yearly.39 high-frequency keywords,such as practice teaching and 9 core authors such as Song Mei are extracted.The results of double cluster analysis showed that the research topics included five aspects:nursing education reform;training of applied nursing talents at different levels;quality of practical teaching;practice teaching reform and laboratory management;application-oriented nursing personnel training mode.Conclusion:The reform and practice of application-oriented nursing talents training in our country are developing continuously,and has gradually received great attention from universities,the local governments and national government departments.The research focuses on the reform of training mode of applied nursing talents at different levels,practice teaching reform,laboratory management and other aspects,which can provide a reference for the reform and practice of applied nursing talents training in China.

Group discussion teaching technique for small groups and encouragement of critical but constructive and creative thinking for finding new and efficient solutions can lead to provision of better health and medical services that is defined in clinical setting, as the clinical psychology finds a way for curing and education. The present study was conducted with the aim to compare the effects of creative group teaching and educational booklet on interpersonal skills of midwives in a clinical setting. The present study was conducted on 97 midwifery graduates working in hospitals in Kerman Province, in two groups of educational booklet (49 midwives) and educational workshop (48 midwives) who participated in a 3-day creative teaching workshop in summer 2015. Creative problem-solving teaching intervention group was taught through educational workshop method, including small group and team working, group discussion and mini lectures. Midwifery 1 intervention group was provided with an educational booklet validated by professors of nursing and Midwifery School for independent and individual study by midwives working in Kerman Province hospitals. The two groups were matched in terms of personal details. Hospitals were randomly selected, and midwives were selected by quota sampling. Interpersonal communication skills of both groups were assessed before and after intervention, and two months later using Interpersonal Communication Skills Test. The results obtained were analyzed in SPSS-16 using descriptive statistics, including frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, and inferential statistics including U-Mann-Whitney, paired t, independent t, repeated measures ANOVA tests at significance level of P P P P P < 0.001). Both teaching methods improved midwives’ interpersonal communication skills. Therefore, standardized educational booklets which produce cost-effective similar results are recommended.

Theory Critique of Kristen Swanson’s Theory of Caring

Theory is considered essential for integral assessment, adopting its foundations and concepts is of great utility. The theory provides different templates to help nurses provide care that respects patients and improves outcomes. Through understanding the intersection of nursing, patients, health, and the environment, theories aim to simplify the complicated, ever-evolving relationship that nurses have with their profession. nursing theory helps distinguish nursing as a separate discipline from medicine and related sciences, and assists nurses in understanding their patients and their needs. The behaviors of healthcare providers affect how patients participate in and experience care situations. In the nursing discipline, the theoretical structures of caring have been established as the core concept of guidance in all nurses’ work. The aim of this paper is to develop a critique of Kristen Swanson’s theory of caring—a theory structured around five caring principles (maintaining belief, knowing, being with, doing for, and enabling) by applying it to nursing practice. When applied to nursing practice, each of these five stages stimulates the caregiver’s attitude, which in turn improves the overall patient’s well-being. Implications to nursing practice are mentioned [1] [2].

Professional identities of occupational therapy practitioners in Japan

To aim to inductively clarify the professional identity of occupational therapists who work in a clinical setting, the researchers interviewed the 22 occupational therapists who had a minimum of 5 years or more of practice in the field. The professional identities of the practicing occupational therapists were constructed by the following two core categories: “harmonizing with a client’s life and the characteristic of a client’s disability”, and “giving clients sovereignties as a mission of the occupational therapists”. The occupational therapist can carry the role of coordinator in an interdisciplinary team for the clients with disability by understanding them. This is achieved based on the core category called “giving clients sovereignties as a mission of the occupational therapists”. Furthermore, in order to achieve the clients’ sovereignties, the occupational therapist can be an operational unit by planning practical strategies and practicing them based on the core category called “harmonizing with a client’s life and the characteristic of a client’s disability”. The fact is often difficult for these clients that they are concerned with how he/she lived actively. It is through unique ways of contributing for the clients in a team of professionals that the occupational therapists try to understand the clients not as “patients” but as “human beings”, and try to harmonize with their life and the characteristics of their disability, then try to support and empower them to reach a stage in which they have the sovereignties of their lives.

Engagement in clinical learning environment among nursing students: Role of nurse educators

Student engagement in a clinical learning environment is a vital component in the curricula of pre-licensure nursing students, providing an opportunity to combine cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills. This paper is significant in Arab world as there is a lack of knowledge, attitude and practice of student involvement in the new clinical learning environment. The purpose of this review article is to describe the experiences and perspectives of the nurse educator in facilitating pre-licensure nursing students’ engagement in the new clinical learning environment. The review suggests that novice students prefer actual engagement in clinical learning facilitated through diversity experiences, shared learning opportunities, student-faculty interaction and active learning. They expressed continuous supervision, ongoing feedback, interpersonal relationship and personal support from nurse educators useful in the clinical practice. However, the value of this review lies in a better understanding of what constitutes quality clinical learning environment from the students’ perspective of engagement in evidence-based nursing, reflective practice, e-learning and simulated case scenarios facilitated by the nurse educators. This review is valuable in planning and implementing innovative clinical and educational experiences for improving the quality of the clinical teaching-learning environment.

The effects of emotional labor and competency on job satisfaction in nurses of China: A nationwide cross-sectional survey

Objectives:This study aimed to explore the status of job satisfaction,emotional labour,core competencies and job stress and the associations of emotional labour and core competencies with the job satisfaction of nurses in China.Methods:Data were collected by using a self-designed general information questionnaire,a job satisfaction questionnaire(McCloskey/Mueller Satisfaction Scale),a nurse emotional labour questionnaire,the Competency Inventory for Registered Nurses questionnaire,and a nurse job stressor questionnaire.A total of 13,448 nurses from 92 hospitals across mainland of China were surveyed,and 11,337 respondents(84.3%response rate)completed the questionnaires.Results:The survey results indicated that Chinese nurses had average job satisfaction(24.77±5.23),moderate job stress(86.84±21.12),moderate to high emotional labour experiences(55.08±9.63)and high competency(195.77±37.61).Multiple linear regression indicated that surface acting was negatively correlated with job satisfaction(Pcore competence(Pnursing experience,professional title,hospital area were the influencing factors of job satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion:The improvement of the emotional labour and competency of nurses may help enhance their job satisfaction.

Discrepancy between the Image Held by nursing Students of Themselves as Employed Nurses during the Pre-Employment Period and the Post-Employment Reality Faced by Novice Nurses

The difference between the expectations of work an individual forms before joining an organization and their perception of work after becoming an organization member is called reality shock and has a significant impact on the reasons why new nurses leave their jobs. To reduce reality shock, it is necessary to clarify the discrepancy between the reality and the image of oneself after employment, which is the source of expectations. However, while there is a large body of literature on reality shock among nurses, no studies have specifically investigated student nurses’ image of post-employment confidence. We conducted semi-structured interviews with eight nursing students who had received job offers and 10 professional nurses up to two years after graduation to clarify the differences between the image that nursing students hold of themselves as employed nurses during the period immediately before employment and the reality that they find after employment. As a result, four core categories (with 25 categories) related to participants’ images of themselves as employed nurses were extracted: life after employment, adaptation to work, adaptation to the workplace, and career foundation-building. Fourteen categories were extracted regarding the reality that nurses found after employment;upon comparing and classifying these categories according to the four core categories, a lack of concreteness in the nursing students’ image of themselves as employed nurses was identified. The results suggest that support measures, both in the basic nursing education program and in clinical hospital practice, to improve the concreteness of the image that nursing students hold of themselves as employed nurses and of nursing work can reduce reality shock and prevent job turnover upon their entry into the workforce.
