Poststro ke cognitive impairment is a major secondary effect of ischemic stroke in many patients;however,few options are available for the early diagnosis and treatment of this *** aims of this study were to(1)determine the specific relationship between hypoxic andα-synuclein during the occur of poststroke cognitive impairment and(2)assess whether the serum phosphorylatedα-synuclein level can be used as a biomarker for poststro ke cognitive *** found that the phosphorylatedα-synuclein level was significantly increased and showed pathological aggregation around the cerebral infa rct area in a mouse model of ischemic *** addition,neuronalα-synuclein phosphorylation and aggregation were observed in the brain tissue of mice subjected to chronic hypoxia,suggesting that hypoxia is the underlying cause ofα-synuclein-mediated pathology in the brains of mice with ischemic *** phosphorylatedα-synuclein levels in patients with ischemic stroke were significantly lower than those in healt hy subjects,and were positively correlated with cognition levels in patients with ischemic ***,a decrease in serum high-density lipoprotein levels in stroke patie nts was significantly correlated with a decrease in phosphorylatedα-synuclein *** ischemic stroke mice did not show significant cognitive impairment or disrupted lipid metabolism 14 days after injury,some of them exhibited decreased cognitive function and reduced phosphorylatedα-synuclein *** together,our results suggest that serum phosphorylatedα-synuclein is a potential biomarker for poststroke cognitive impairment.

The subchannel analysis method is one of the most crucial transient safety analysis methods in the thermal design of nuclear reactors. The nonuniformity of circumferential heat transfer is slight in conventional pressurized water reactor (PWR)cores, but it is significant in advanced reactors with wire-wrapped or helical fuel rods. Predicting circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer behavior can be challenging owing to the complex geometry of helical fuel rods. In this study, a general circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer fuel rod (GCNF) model is developed to predict the fuel central temperature and circumferential heat flux and wall temperature. This model incorporates a refined two-dimensional fuel conduction model and circumferential nonuniform shape factor, addressing the dual factors contributing to the circumferential nonuniformity of helical fuel rods. An empirical correlation for the nonuniform shape factor is developed based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results, and it is implemented to the subchannel code. The newly developed model is applied to a helical fuel annulus and validated by comparing the prediction results with CFD data. The maximum wall temperature predicted by the code is 1.15°C lower than the value calculated through CFD. In terms of the heat flux, the maximum value at the inner corner is22 kW lower than that obtained from the CFD prediction. The accurate prediction of circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer in helical fuel, concerning the surface heat flux and cladding temperature, addresses existing shortcomings in helical fuel subchannel analysis methods. Additionally, the capability to predict the fuel central temperature is essential for the safety analysis to determine whether fuel rods are melting. The generality of the model framework allows it to be used for the prediction of circumferential nonuniform heat transfer behavior in other types of fuel assemblies.

RE-SEGNN:recurrent semantic evidence-aware graph neural network for temporal knowledge graph forecasting

Temporal knowledge graph(TKG) reasoning, has seen widespread use for modeling real-world events, particularly in extrapolation settings. Nevertheless, most previous studies are embedded models, which require both entity and relation embedding to make predictions, ignoring the semantic correlations among different entities and relations within the same timestamp. This can lead to random and nonsensical predictions when unseen entities or relations occur. Furthermore, many existing models exhibit limitations in handling highly correlated historical facts with extensive temporal depth. They often either overlook such facts or overly accentuate the relationships between recurring past occurrences and their current counterparts. Due to the dynamic nature of TKG, effectively capturing the evolving semantics between different timestamps can be *** address these shortcomings, we propose the recurrent semantic evidenceaware graph neural network(RE-SEGNN), a novel graph neural network that can learn the semantics of entities and relations simultaneously. For the former challenge, our model can predict a possible answer to missing quadruples based on semantics when facing unseen entities or relations. For the latter problem, based on an obvious established force, both the recency and frequency of semantic history tend to confer a higher reference value for the current. We use the Hawkes process to compute the semantic trend, which allows the semantics of recent facts to gain more attention than those of distant facts. Experimental results show that RE-SEGNN outperforms all SOTA models in entity prediction on 6 widely used datasets, and 5 datasets in relation prediction. Furthermore, the case study shows how our model can deal with unseen entities and relations.

The atmospheric corrosion monitoring(ACM)technique has been widely employed to track the real-time corrosion behavior of metal ***,limited studies have applied ACM to the corrosion protection properties of organic *** study compared a bare epoxy coating with one containing zinc phosphate corrosion inhibitors,both applied on ACM sensors,to observe their corrosion protection properties over *** with artificial damage via scratches were exposed to immersion and alternating dry and wet environments,which allowed for monitoring galvanic corrosion currents in *** the corrosion tests,the ACM currents of the zinc phosphate/epoxy coating were considerably lower than those of the blank epoxy *** trend in ACM current variations closely matched the results obtained from regular electrochemical tests and surface *** alignment highlights the potential of the ACM technique in evaluating the corrosion protection capabilities of organic *** with the blank epoxy coating,the zinc phosphate/epoxy coating showed much-decreased ACM current values that confirmed the effective inhibition of zinc phosphate against steel corrosion beneath the damaged coating.

Based on the unified Hauser-Feshbach and exciton model for light nuclei, the calculations of reaction cross sections and the double-differential cross sections for n + 6Li are performed. Since all of the first-particle emissions are from the compound nucleus to the discrete levels, the angular momentum coupling effect in pre-equilibrium mechanism must be taken into account. The fitting of the measured data indicates that the three-body break-up process needs to be involved, and the pre-equilibrium reaction mechanism dominates the reaction processes. In light nucleus reactions the recoil effect must be taken into account.

Based on the neutron induced fission fragment mass distribution data up to neutron energy 20 MeV measured with the double kinetic energy method （KEM） and the radio active method （RAM）, the systematics of fission fragment mass distribution was investigated by using 5 Gaussian model and the systematics parameters were obtained by fitting the experimental data. With the systematics, the yields of any mass A and at any energy in the region from 0 to 20 MeV of neutron energy can be calculated. The calculated results could well reproduce the experimental data measured with KEM, but show some systematical deviation from the data measured by RAM, which reflects some systematical deviations between the two kinds of measured data. The error of systematics yield was calculated in an exact error transformation way, including from the error of the experimental yield data to the error of the discrete parameters, then to the systematics parameters, and at last to the yield calculated with systematics.
