Catalyst grading technology for promoting the diesel hydrocracking to naphtha

This paper reports the application of multi-component hydrocracking catalyst grading technology in diesel hydrocracking system to increase naphtha,and studies the influence of catalyst systems with different number of graded beds on the reaction process of diesel *** hydrocracking catalysts with different physicochemical properties as gradation components,the diesel hydrocracking reaction on catalyst systems of one-component,two-component and three-component graded beds with different loading sequences are carried out and evaluated,*** catalytic mechanism of the multi-component grading system is *** results show that,with the increase of the number of grading beds,the space velocity of reaction on each catalyst increases,which can effectively control the overreaction process;along the flow direction of feedstock,the loading sequences of catalysts with acidity decreasing and pore properties increasing can satisfy the demand of different catalytic activity for the conversion of reactant with changing composition to naphtha,which has a guiding role in the conversion of feedstock to target ***,the conversion of diesel,the selectivity and yield of naphtha all increase significantly on the multi-component catalyst *** research on the grading technology of multi-component catalysts is of great significance to the promotion and application of catalyst systems in various catalytic fields.

Inhibition roles of molybdate and borate on Q235 steel corrosion in resistance reducing agent

The effects of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7) on corrosion behavior of Q235 steel in resistance reducing agent(RRA)containing sodium bentonite were studied by mass loss,scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical *** results showed that both the independent and mixed additions of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and/or Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7),can reduce the corrosion rate of Q235 steel in RRA containing sodium *** the inhibition effect of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and/or Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7)increased with their dosage *** the same dosage,the inhibition efficiency of the mixed addition of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7),was higher than that of their independent *** passivation effect of Q235 steel was easy to obtain in the RRA with the mixed addition of Na_(2)MoO_(4) and Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7).The optimized inhibitor for the RRA containing sodium bentonite was the mixture of Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7) and Na_(2)MoO_(4) with a total concentration of 1.5 wt.%.Furthermore,the increase in corrosion potential E_(corr) and the decrease in corrosion current density i_(cor) in carbon steel were one of the important criteria for the formation of passivation film.

Bulk nanocrystalline W-Ti alloys with exceptional mechanical properties and thermal stability

Nanocrystalline(NC)W metals and alloys often exhibit higher radiation tolerance and strength than their coarse-grained ***,their thermal stability is low,making it difficult to achieve bulk NC W metals and alloys by consolidation using conventional techniques such as pressure-less sintering,hot-explosive-compaction sintering,and spark plasma *** we report the synthesis and mechanical properties of bulk NC W_(100-x)Ti_(x)(x=10 at.%-30 at.%)alloys prepared by consolidating mechanically alloyed NC powders under a high-temperature/high-pressure *** 20 at.%-30 at.%Ti largely improves the sinterability of NC W-Ti alloy *** room-temperature microhardness and compressive yield strength of consolidated bulk NC W_(80)Ti_(20) alloy are∼16.9 and 6.0 GPa,respectively,which are mainly caused by grain boundary strengthening and significantly higher than those of previously reported W and W *** ultimate compressive strength of bulk NC W_(80)Ti_(20) measured between 900 and 1100°C deceases with increasing *** behavior can be explained by the activation of Rachinger grain boundary *** grain growth is observed in bulk NC W_(80)Ti_(20) after compression at 1000°*** calculation suggests that it is the segregation of Ti at grain boundaries that decreases the specific grain boundary free energy and makes the NC W_(80)Ti_(20) alloy thermodynamically stable.

Non-intrusive load monitoring is a technique for monitoring the operating conditions of electrical appliances by collecting the aggregated electrical information at the household power *** several studies on the mining of unique load characteristics,few studies have extensively considered the high computational burden and sample *** on lowfrequency sampling data,a non-intrusive load monitoring algorithm utilizing the graph total variation(GTV)is proposed in this *** algorithm can effectively depict the load state without the need for prior ***,the combined Kmeans clustering algorithm and graph signals are used to build concise and accurate graph structures as load *** GTV representing the internal structure of the graph signal is introduced as the optimization model and solved using the augmented Lagrangian iterative *** introduction of the difference operator reduces the computing cost and addresses the inaccurate reconstruction of the graph *** low-frequency sampling data,the algorithm only requires a little prior data and no training,thereby reducing the computing *** conducted using the reference energy disaggregation dataset and almanac of minutely power dataset demonstrated the stable superiority of the algorithm and its low computational burden.

Preparation and properties of physically and chemically cross-linked hybrid hydrophobic association hydrogels with good mechanical strength

To correct the defects of hydrophobic association hydrogels （HA-gels）, new physically and chemically cross-linked hybrid hy- drophobic association hydrogels （hybrid HA-gels） were prepared by radical copolymerization of acrylamide （AM）, octylphe- nol polyoxyethylene （n） acrylate （OPnAC, n stands for the number of ethoxy group, and is 10 and 21） and N,N＇-methylene- bisacrylamide （MBA）. On the basis of the statistical molecular theory of rubber elastic, the Mooney-Rivlin model and using the tensile true stress （O＇true） tested at room temperature, the number of network strands per unit volume （o~） and the num- ber-average molar mass of a network strand （Me） were evaluated for hybrid HA-gels. For the hydrogels, the effect of the con- tent of MBA and OP10AC on their tensile mechanical properties was studied by using o0 and Mc; also, the effect of the com- positions and temperature on their swelling behavior in distilled water was discussed in detail. In addition, hybrid HA-gels in- cluding a small quantity of MBA possessed the capabilities of secondary self-healing and remolding. In contrast with HA-gels prepared by the same compositions besides MBA, hybrid HA-gels showed good mechanical strength and long-term thermal stability in distilled water in the range of 25 to 80℃. Furthemore, hybrid HA-gels also avoided the self-deswelling behavior of HA-gels. The results show that the application fields of HA-gels will be greatly broadened after introducing a chemical cross-linking network.

Analysis and application of carbon-bearing rate of reservoirs in the Puguang gas field,northeastern Sichuan Basin

With wells Puguang 2 and 6 in the Puguang gas field as the research objects by choosing organic carbon as characterization reservoir carbon(indirectly reflecting the bitumen contents),this paper discusses the relationship between bitumen contents and lithologic characteristics,reservoir characteristics,and calculates the volume of paleo-oil and oil cracked *** study shows that the organic carbon contents of the reservoirs are related to lithologic *** to variations in the particle size or structure of rocks,the porosity of the reservoirs varies,furthermore,it will influence the contents of organic *** the relationship between these two parameters is *** on the analysis,the relationship between total organic carbon(TOC)and the contents of reservoir bitumen also appears to be *** volume of paleo-oil and cracked gas of the Changxing-Feixian’guan Formation are respectively 495 million tons and 360.4 billion m3 through the calculation of reservoir’s organic ***,the relationship between carbon-bearing rate and characteristics of the reservoirs can be used to indirectly evaluate reservoir ***,the carbon-bearing rate of the reservoirs also reflects the contents of reservoir bitumen,paleo-oil as well as natural *** makes a new approach for the study of the types of reservoirs and the amounts of paleo-oil and oil cracked gas in northeastern Sichuan Basin.

This paper presents a systematic method for the optimal settings of gas turbine operation. After building the highfidelity model of the gas turbine, the fuel flow, variable inlet guide-vane（VIGV） of the high and low pressure compressors,ambient air pressure and temperature are selected as the decision variables, while the pollutant emissions and output power of whole system are chosen as response variables to be optimized. In order to guarantee the accurate response prediction,the performance of three different types of surrogate models, namely polynomial response surface（PRS）, Kriging and radial basis function（RBF） models are built with sampling points generated by Latin hypercube design（LHD） method. With Kriging surrogate model best fitting the data, it is chosen as the model for performance prediction during the optimization process. It is also shown that the NSGA-II algorithm is suitable for the multi-objective optimization of gas turbine. The robustness of the Pareto solutions are checked under the varying ambient pressure and temperature. By considering the solution robustness, and the nature of gas turbine performance change under perturbation, the optimal operating conditions are identified.

Study on S-shaped characteristic of Francis reversible unit by on-site test and CFD simulation

The operation parameters （vibration, shaft displacement and pressure fluctuation） of No. 1 Francis reversible unit of Baoquan pumped-storage power station were measured on site in the no-load mode at net heads of 518.04, 522.01 and 530.38 m, re- spectively. The rotational speed fluctuations in the no-load mode at three net heads were beyond synchronization requirement with obvious S-shaped characteristic, and misaligned guide vanes （MGV） had to be put into use for synchronization. Further analysis demonstrated that the rotating frequency signal was generally dominant in vibration and shaft displacement mixing signal in the no-load mode, while the frequency domain was wide without an obvious main frequency in pressure fluctuation mixing signal. Besides, the SSTκ-ω turbulence model was adopted to simulate the four quadrant characteristic curves of Baoquan model pump-turbine at three gate openings, and the relative error between simulation results and model test data was within ±6%, indicating that the simulation method in this paper is feasible and S-shaped characteristic of the pump-turbine can be simulated with CFD method.

Petroleum geology features and research developments of hydrocarbon accumulation in deep petroliferous basins

As petroleum exploration advances and as most of the oil-gas reservoirs in shallow layers have been explored, petroleum exploration starts to move toward deep basins, which has become an inevitable choice. In this paper, the petroleum geology features and research progress on oil-gas reservoirs in deep petroliferous basins across the world are characterized by using the latest results of worldwide deep petroleum exploration. research has demonstrated that the deep petroleum shows ten major geological features. （1） While oil-gas reservoirs have been discovered in many different types of deep petroliferous basins, most have been discovered in low heat flux deep basins. （2） Many types of petroliferous traps are developed in deep basins, and tight oil-gas reservoirs in deep basin traps are arousing increasing attention. （3） Deep petroleum normally has more natural gas than liquid oil, and the natural gas ratio increases with the burial depth. （4） The residual organic matter in deep source rocks reduces but the hydrocarbon expulsion rate and efficiency increase with the burial depth. （5） There are many types of rocks in deep hydrocarbon reservoirs, and most are clastic rocks and carbonates. （6） The age of deep hydrocarbon reservoirs is widely different, but those recently discovered are pre- dominantly Paleogene and Upper Paleozoic. （7） The porosity and permeability of deep hydrocarbon reservoirs differ widely, but they vary in a regular way with lithology and burial depth. （8） The temperatures of deep oil-gas reservoirs are widely different, but they typically vary with the burial depth and basin geothermal gradient. （9） The pressures of deep oil-gas reservoirs differ significantly, but they typically vary with burial depth, genesis, and evolu- tion period. （10） Deep oil-gas reservoirs may exist with or without a cap, and those without a cap are typically of unconventional genesis.
