A significant challenge in developing high-performance hybrid supercapacitors(HSCs)is the need to reasonably construct advanced architectures that consist of various components and exhibit superior electrochemical capacitance *** FeCoNi-layered double hydroxide(FeCoNi-LDH)porous material has a specific capacitance of 1960 F·g^(-1)when used as the anode material at 1 A·g^(-1).The FeCoNi-LDH material exhibits nanoplates with a distinct spindle morphology on their *** to the combined action of the three metals and abundant oxygen vacancies,they exhibit unique rate performance and cycle *** electronic structure of LDH and the regulation of oxygen vacancy were confirmed by density functional theory(DFT)*** suggests that the strength of hydroxide can reduce the energy required for oxygen vacancy formation in FeCoNi-LDH nanosheets and enhance ion and charge transfer,as well as electrolyte adsorption on the electrode *** FeCoNi-LDH//activated carbon(AC)HSC has an energy density of 53.2 Wh·kg^(-1)at a power density of 800 W·kg^(-1),surpassing other devices composed of comparable materials during the same *** study made significant advances in the design and synthesis of a ternary LDH porous structure with distinct oxygen vacancies,as well as its potential application in electrochemical energy storage.

Spin-crossover(SCO)materials with light-induced multistability have potential applications in multi-addressable opto-magnetic memory devices and multiple ***,we reported a three-dimensional Hofmann-type metal-organic framework(MOF)[Fe(bpy){Pt(CN)_(4)}]·coumarin(1·coumarin,bpy=4,4′-bipyridine),which exhibits an incomplete and hysteretic SCO *** importantly,the light-induced stepped thermal relaxation(LISTR)with obvious magnetic plateau for a hidden intermediate spin state is firstly *** hidden spin state is also observed for the first time in the thermal relaxation after light-assisted spin state annealing(LASSA).Meanwhile,an extremely rare bi-directional light-induced excited spin-state trapping(LIESST)with the highest reverse-LIESST temperature is ***,five spin states can be captured in 1·coumarin and the tristability can be modulated below 102 K through the excitation-relaxation ***,the light-and temperatureinduced multistability provides a new strategy for developing multistable materials.

In the current situation where the practical application of silicon anode materials encounters great challenges,silicon oxide(SiO_(x),0≤x≤2)has attracted the attention of researchers due to its relatively small volume expansion,stable cycling performance,and low cost,which is possible to realize commercial applications earlier than silicon ***,it remains a challenge to prepare SiO_(x)materials with long-term stable cycling performance and high Coulombic efficiency using low-cost *** this work,SiO_(x)anode material with high Coulombic efficiency and good long-term cycling stability was prepared at a low cost by hydrolysis of siloxane and in situ polymerization of phenolic *** hydrolysis of siloxane was further regulated by different silane coupling agents to regulate the size and microstructure of prepared SiO_(x)materials,which displayed the substantially improved electrochemical *** excellent electrochemical performance of SiO_(x)prepared by regulated hydrolysis of siloxane with silane coupling agents is attributed to the effect of silane coupling agent on size and microstructure of SiO_(x),revealing that the strategy of modulating the hydrolysis of siloxane by silane coupling agent is a potential method to prepare high-performance SiO_(x)materials.

Solid-state impedance spectroscopy(SS-IS)was used to investigate the influence of structural modifications resulting from the addition of Nb2O5 on the dielectric properties and relaxation processes in the quaternary mixed glass former(MGF)system 35Na_(2)O–10V_(2)O_(5)–(55-x)P_(2)O_(5)–xNb_(2)O_(5)(x=0–40,mol%).The dielectric parameters,including the dielectric strength and dielectric loss,are determined from the frequency and temperature-dependent complex permittivity data,revealing a significant dependence on the Nb2O5 *** transition from a predominantly phosphate glass network(xrast to glasses with a single peak in frequency dependence of imaginary part of electrical modulus,M″(ω),Nb-40 glass-ceramic exhibits two distinct contributions with similar relaxation *** high-frequency peak indicates bulk ionic conductivity,while the additional low-fre-quency peak is associated with the grain boundary effect,confirmed by the electrical equivalent circuit(EEC)*** scaling characteristics of permittivity and conductivity spectra,along with the electrical modulus,validate time-temperature superposition and demonstrate a

The reactant concentration at the catalytic interface holds the key to the activity of electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),mainly referring to the capacity of adsorbing hydrogen and electron *** hydrogen adsorption free energy(ΔGH)as a reactivity descriptor,the volcano curve based on Sabatier principle is established to evaluate the hydrogen evolution activity of ***,the role of electron as reactant received insufficient attention,especially for noble metal-free compound catalysts with poor conductivity,leading to cognitive gap between electronic conductivity and apparent catalytic *** we successfully construct a series of catalyst models with gradient conductivities by regulating molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))electronic bandgap via a simple solvothermal *** demonstrate that the conductivity of catalysts greatly affects the overall catalytic *** further elucidate the key role of intrinsic conductivity of catalyst towards water electrolysis,mainly concentrating on the electron transport from electrode to catalyst,the electron accumulation process at the catalyst layer,and the charge transfer progress from catalyst to *** and experimental evidence demonstrates that,with the enhancement in electron accessibility at the catalytic interface,the dominant parameter governing overall HER activity gradually converts from electron accessibility to combination of electron accessibility and hydrogen adsorbing *** results provide the insight from various perspective for developing noble metal-free catalysts in electrocatalysis beyond HER.

Gold(Au)and palladium(Pd)play an increasing role in the production and human life;Therefore,it is of great significance to study their recovery.A 5,11,17,23-tetra-ethylthio-25,26,27,28-tetra-hydroxyl thiacalix[4]arene(TCAET)was synthesized specifically for the capture of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)from HCl medium by liquid-liquid *** a 0.1 mol·L^(-1)HCl medium,the transfer of Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)from the aqueous phase to the organic phase was highly efficient,with a transfer ratio of 100%for Au(Ⅲ)and 98%for Pd(Ⅱ).Furthermore,the extraction equilibrium time for Au(Ⅲ)was just 5 ***'s method data demonstrated that TCAET formed complexes with Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)in a ratio of 2:3 and 1:1,respectively,during the extraction *** showed high selectivity toward Pd(Ⅱ)and Au(Ⅲ)over other competing metal ***,both Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)could be successfully stripped from the loaded organic phases with a 1.0 mol·L^(-1)thiourea in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)HCl and 0.5 mol·L^(-1)thiourea in 0.5 mol·L^(-1)HCl,*** obtained from five consecutive extraction-stripping cycles showed good reusability of TCAET toward Au(Ⅲ)and Pd(Ⅱ)*** conclusion can provide a certain reference for thiacalixarene in the recovery of precious metal species.

Herein,a colorimetric chemosensor （probe 7） was designed and synthesized for sensing diethyl cyanophosphonate （DCNP）,a Tabun nerve agent *** sensitive,selective,fast response and photostable probe 7 in dimethylsulfoxide （DMSO）responded to DCNP at low concentrations with visual naked eye color change from pink to pale yellow and displayed unresponsive behaviour against various interferences except for copper ions,which can be di?erentiated by adding ethylene diamine where the yellow color persisted in the case of DCNP but turned to pink in the case of copper ***,the yellow aqueous solution of probe 7 at pH 10 and 12 turned colorless against the response of *** limit of detection（LOD） of probe 7 was found to be 50 nmol/L in an aqueous basic solution at pH 10 for the detection of *** formation of the cyclized product was elucidated by1H and31P NMR nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR,31P NMR),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR）,and high-resolution mass spectrometry （HRMS） ***?lter paper and silica plate loaded with probe 7 were fabricated for real-time and on-site detection of DCNP.

Cryogenic insulation material rigid polyurethane(PU)foams were developed using bio-based and recycled *** obtained from tall oil fatty acids produced as a side stream of wood biomass pulping and recycled polyethylene terephthalate were used to develop rigid PU foam *** 4th generation physical blowing agents with low global warming potential and low ozone depletion potential were used to develop rigid PU foam cryogenic insulation with excellent mechanical and thermal *** rigid PU foams had a thermal conductivity coefficient as low as 0.0171 W/m·K and an apparent density of 37-40 kg/m^(3).The developed rigid PU foams had anisotropic compression strength properties,which were higher parallel to the foaming ***,the compression strength was also influenced by the type of applied bio-based *** bio-based polyols with higher OH group functionality delivered higher crosslinking density of polymer matrix;thus,the mechanical properties were also *** mechanical strength of the foams increased when materials were tested at liquid nitrogen temperature due to the stiffening of the polymer *** thermal properties of the developed materials were determined using differential scanning calorimetry,dynamic mechanical analysis,and thermogravimetric analysis ***,the developed rigid PU foams had good adhesion to the aluminium substrate before and after applying cyroshock and an excellent safety coefficient of *** PU foams developed using Solstice LBA delivered adhesion strength of~0.5 MPa and may be considered for application as cryogenic insulation in the aerospace industry.
