The FAIR principles have been accepted globally as guidelines for improving data-driven science and data management practices,yet the incentives for researchers to change their practices are presently *** addition,data-driven science has been slow to embrace workflow technology despite clear evidence of recurring *** overcome these challenges,the Canonical Workflow Frameworks for Research(CWFR)initiative suggests a large-scale introduction of self-documenting workflow scripts to automate recurring processes or fragments *** standardised approach,with FAIR Digital Objects as anchors,will be a significant milestone in the transition to FAIR data without adding additional load onto the researchers who stand to benefit most from *** paper describes the CWFR approach and the activities of the CWFR initiative over the course of the last year or so,highlights several projects that hold promise for the CWFR approaches,including Galaxy,Jupyter Notebook,and RO Crate,and concludes with an assessment of the state of the field and the challenges ahead.

Active learning can be used for optimizing and speeding up the screening phase of systematic *** simulation studies mimicking the screening process can be used to test the performance of different machine-learning models or to study the impact of different training *** paper presents an architecture design withamultiprocessing computational strategyforrunningmanysuch simulation studiesinparallel,using the ASReview Makita workflow generator and Kubernetes software for deployment with cloud *** provide a technical explanation of the proposed cloud architecture and its *** addition to that,we conducted 1140 simulations investigating the computational time using various numbers of CPUs and RAM *** analysis demonstrates the degree to which simulations can be accelerated with multiprocessing computing *** parallel computation strategy and the architecture design that was developed in the present paper can contribute to future research with more optimal simulation time and,at the same time,ensure the safe completion of the needed processes.

Granular matter is the second most handled material after water in the global *** macroscopic behavior arises from a collisional to a collective motion of the constituent grains,with varying lengths and time *** fluid-like and solid-like behaviors of granular materials and their transitions[1]are relevant to many industrial problems,such as mining excavation[2],selective laser sintering and powder spreading[3],thawing-induced slope failure[4],and granular impact[1].Designing and optimizing these processes require a synergy of understandings obtained from studies of contact theories[5],particle morphology or shape representation[5,6],interparticle friction[7],and micro-tomacro[4,7,8]and discrete-to-continuum transitions[1,2].

Using inorganic fibrous membranes as protective layers has yielded success in suppressing dendrite ***,conventional fibrous membranes usually have large voids and low affinity for Li,promoting inhomogeneous charge distribution and allowing some dendrites to ***,we introduce a highly aligned TiO_(2)/SiO_(2)(A-TS)electrospun nanofiber membrane as a protective layer for the Li metal *** A-TS membrane is fabricated by a custom-made electrospinning system with an automatic fiber alignment collector that allows control of the fibers’*** the scale of the individual fibers,their high binding energies with Li can attract more“dead”Li by reacting with the SiO_(2) component of the composite,avoiding uncontrollable deposition on the metal *** the membrane scale,these highly ordered structures achieve homogeneous contact and charge distribution on the Li metal surface,leaving no vulnerable areas to nucleate dendrite ***,the excellent mechanical and thermal stability properties of the A-TS membrane prevent any potential puncturing by dendrites or thermal runaway in a ***,an A-TS@Li anode exhibits stable cycling performance when used in both Li-S and Li-NCM811 batteries,highlighting significant reference values for the future design and development of high-energy-density metal-based battery systems.
