Sound propagation in a deep ocean two-axis underwater channel is often complex and difficult to simulate between surface channel and sound fixing and ranging (SOFAR) channel. The beam-displacement ray-mode (BDRM) theory is a normal mode method for propagation modeling in horizontally stratified shallow water. An improved method for computing the upper boundary reflection coefficient in the BDRM is proposed and applied to calculate the acoustic fields of a two-axis underwater channel. Transmission losses in the two-axis underwater channel are calculated in the new BDRM. The corresponding results are in good agreement with those from the Kraken code, and furthermore the computed speed of the new BDRM excels the other methods.

Objective: To study the express of some nonhormonal antigens in pancreatic endocrine tumors. Methods: The nonhormonal antigens including Alpha subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin (α HCG), progesterone receptors (PR), 7B2, HISL 19, in normal pancreatic islets and in 52 cases of pancreatic endocrine tumors (PET) were investigated by immunohistochemistry. Results: It was found that HCG can be detected in PET but not in normal islet cells. HCG immunoreactivity was expressed by 3 of 28 (10.7%) benign PET and by 14 of 24 (58.3%) malignant *** was found by 20 of 28(71.4%) benign PET and by 7 of 24 (29%) malignant PET. 7B2 was detected by 23 of 28 (82.1%) benign PET and by 13 of 24 (54.2%) malignant PET. HISL 19 was appeared by 23 of 28 benign PET and by 11 of 24 (46%) malignant PET. Golgitype persisted in 87.5% malignant tumors. Conclusion: The assay of nonhormonal antigens may be well defined the clinico pathological characteristics of PET.

AIM： To investigate the effect of gold nanoparticles on retinal angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo, and to reveal the possible ***： Seed growth method was used to synthesize gold nanoparticles（GNPs）. The size, zeta potential, absorption spectrum and morphology of GNPs were identified using Malvern Nano-ZS, multimode reader（Bio Tek synergy2） and transmission electron microscope. Cell viability was analyzed using cell counting kit-8 method and cell growth was assessed with EdU kit. Transwell chamber was used to investigate cell migration. Tube formation method was used to assess the angiogenic property in vitro. Oxygen induced retinopathy（OIR） model was used to investigate the effect of GNPs on retinal angiogenesis. Confocal microscope and Western blot were used to study the possible mechanism of GNPs inhibited ***： The GNPs synthesized were uniform and well dispersed. GNPs of 10 μg/mL and 20 μg/mL were able to inhibit human umbilical vein endothelial cells proliferation（50% and 72% separately, P〈0.001）, migration（54% and 83% separately, P〈0.001） and tube formation（52% and 90% separately, P〈0.001）. Further data showed that GNPs were able to improve the retinopathy in an OIR model. The possible mechanism might be that GNPs were able to induce autophagy significantly（P〈0.05）.CONCLUSION： The present study suggests that GNPs are able to inhibit retinal neovascularization in vitro and in vivo. GNPs might be a potential nanomedicine for the treatment of retinal angiogenesis.

AIM To determine a panel of serum micro RNAs(mi RNAs) that could be used as novel biomarkers for diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS We initially screened 9 out of 754 serum mi RNAs by Taq Man Low Density Array in two pooled samples respectively from 35 HCC and 35 normal controls, and then validated individually by RT-qP CR in another 114 patients and 114 controls arranged in two phases. The changes of the selected mi RNAs after operation and their prognostic value were *** miR-375, miR-10 a, miR-122 and miR-423 were found to be significantly higher in HCC than in controls(P < 0.0001), and the area under the receiver-operating-characteristic curve for the 4-miR NA panel was 0.995(95%CI: 0.985-1). All the four mi RNAs were significantly reduced after surgical removal of the tumors(P < 0.0001), while still higher than normal controls(at least P < 0.05)CONCLUSION The four serum miR NAs(miR-375, miR-10 a, miR-122 and miR-423) could potentially serve as novel biomarkers for the diagnostic and prognostic of HCC.

AIM To understand the cellular and molecular changes inperipheral blood that can lead to the development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) and provide new methods for its diagnosis and *** Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated from the peripheral blood of HCC patients and normal controls and then analyzed by flow cytometry. The percentage of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)+ regulatory cells(Tregs) in the peripheral blood was measured, and the expression of TGF-β was also determined. Then, the relationship between the changes and the 5-year survival of patients was analyzed. In addition, recombinant human TGF-β(rh TGF-β) and recombinant human interleukin-6 were added to stimulate the cultured cells, and their effects on HCC were *** The expression of TGF-β and the percentage of TGF-β+ Tregs in the peripheral blood of HCC patients increased significantly compared with normal controls. Compared with the low TGF-β expression group, the high TGF-β expression group had a significantly lower 5-year survival rate, and the same result was found in the two TGF-β+ Treg groups, suggesting that TGF-β and TGF-β+ Tregs were negatively correlated with the overall survival of the patients. In addition, rh TGF-β promoted the growth of tumor cells and induced high expression levels of IL-6, which further promoted tumor *** The results showed that TGF-β may promote tumor growth and proliferation by inducing the production of IL-6, and TGF-β and TGF-β+ Tregs may serve as new markers for predicting a poor prognosis in HCC.
