Epithelial defect repair in the auricle and auditory meatus by grafting with cultured adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell aggregate-extracellular matrix

Background: Several patients experience persistent otorrhea after a flawless surgical procedure because of insufficient epithelial healing. Several efforts, such as autologous tissue allograft and xenograft, have been made to halt otorrhea. However, a stable technology to induce temporal epithelial repair is yet to be established. Therefore, this study aims to investigate whether implantation of seeding adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell (ADMSC) aggregates on extracellular matrix (ECM;herein, ADMSC aggregate-ECM) into damaged skin wound promotes skin regeneration. Methods: ADMSC aggregate-ECM was prepared using a previously described procedure that isolated ADMSCs from rabbits and applied to the auricle and auditory meatus wound beds of New Zealand white rabbits. Wound healing was assessed by general observation and hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining. Secretion of growth factor of the tissue was evaluated by western blotting. Two other groups, namely, ECM and control, were used. Comparisons of three groups were conducted by one-way analysis of variance analysis. Results: ADMSCs adhered tightly to the ECM and quickly formed cell sheets. At 2 weeks, general observation and H&E staining indicated that the wound healing rates in the ADMSC aggregate-ECM (69.02±6.36%) and ECM (59.32 + 4.10%) groups were higher than that in the control group (43.74± 12.15%;P=0.005, P<0.001, respectively) in ear auricle excisional wounds. At 7 weeks, The scar elevation index was evidently reduced in the ADMSC aggregate-ECM (2.08±0.87) and ECM (2.31 ±0.33) groups compared with the control group (4.06 ±0.45;P < 0.001, P < 0.001, respectively). In addition, the scar elevation index of the ADMSC aggregate-ECM group reached the lowest rate 4 weeks in advance. In auditory meatus excisional wounds, the ADMSC aggregate-ECM group had the largest range of normal skin-like structure at 4 weeks. For underwater target detection using a single vector hydrophone,sparse asymptotic minimum variance(SAMV)method is used to estimate the target *** SAMV discretizes the entire scanning space and the target bearing is located at the position of the discrete *** SAMV algorithm utilizes the sparsity of the spatial signal to improve the estimation performance of the target *** noise level(BNL)of the bearing estimation of SAMV algorithm is lower than those of the conventional beam forming(CBF)method and minimum variance distortionless response(MVDR)method for different signal noise ratios(SNRs).When the SNR is higher than 0 d B,the direction-finding error of this algorithm is less than 2°.Moreover,the SAMV algorithm has a better dimensional orientation resolution *** experimental results show that the SAMV algorithm gives a bearing and time recording map with a lower BNL,which effectively verifies the effectiveness of SAMV algorithm in terms of underwater target detection.

Effect of Seabed Topography Change on Sound Ray Propagation—A Simulation Study

Variation of ocean environmental parameters is important to sound ray propagation. This article studies the problem of sound ray propagation in seawater by BELLHOP ray model. The sensitivities of sound ray propagation to the variations of seabed topography and depth of sound source by simulation. The results show that the depth variation of sound source is the main cause for emerging and disappearing of surface sound channel, accumulation area and deep sound channel. The deviation of sound ray propagation is in accordance with seabed topography change.

Qualification Test for the Reliability of Diver Gas Recovery System

A qualification test for the reliability of a newly-developed Diver Gas Recovery System (DGRS) was carried out in the Naval medical research Institute of the People's Liberation Army, China from March 29 to April 2, 1995. A sequential test plan of high discrimination ratio for the mean time between failures (MTBF) was adopted. The test procedures simulated those of a 300 msw dive. A hyperbaric breathing machine was used for the simulation of diver's respiratory functions. Parameters, such as diving depth, respiratory minute volume (RMV), CO2 production, gas flow rate, partial pressure of carbon dioxide, and ambient temperature and himidity were all displayed and recorded with a microcomputer system. The results indicated that no failure occurred during the 91.5 h operation. According to the acceptance and rejection criteria specified in the statistical test plan, a no-failure score in the 88 h operation is acceptable. Therefore, the DGRS has been demonstrated to meet the requirements of MTBF specified in the contract.

Objective:To explore the characteristics and rules of Danshen Ligustrazine Injection in the treatment of coronary heart disease with ***:From the information systems of 12 tertiary tier-one hospitals across the country,we extracted the medical data of the application of Danshen Ligustrazine Injection in the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease and *** normalization,the model was established by Apriori algorithm,and the association rules were analyzed by Clementine 12.0 ***:Most of the 1928 patients were between 75 and 90 years old(54.26%).There were more males than females,most with type 2 diabetes,cerebral infarction,*** dose was more than 10 mL(52.78%).Aspirin enteric-coated tablets(67.63%),L-carnitine injection(58.77%),and atorvastatin calcium capsules(50.93%)were often used in combination with safflower yellow pigment(22.20%),Shexiang Baoxin Pill(16.55%),Suxiao Jiuxin Pill(15.09%);the most commonly used combination of western medicine was anticoagulant thrombolytic and antiplatelet drugs(85.84%),and the type of Chinese medicine was Huoxuehuayu(72.98%);The most common combination of two western medicines was L-carnitine injection+aspirin enteric-coated tablets,with a support of 41.9%;The most common combination of two Chinese and western medicines is western medicine·anti-anginal medicine+western medicine·anticoagulant thrombolytic and antiplatelet drugs with a support of 67.6%.Conclusion:Danshen Ligustrazine injection is mainly used in elderly patients with coronary heart disease and hypertension,with many *** dosage standard needs to be *** combination of drugs and guidelines should coordinate with each other,which provide clues for clinical diagnosis and treatment and optimization of medication.

Passive ranging of a moving sound source using three-dimensional measured information

To solve the problem of passive ranging of a moving sound source,a method of estimating the initial distance of target is presented by using the measured information of target azimuth,Doppler frequency shift and distance characteristic *** pseudo linearization,a linear model with heteroscedasticity is *** system can uniquely determine the distance,velocity and course of a non-radial moving sound source target by using the observed information of three target bearings,two Doppler frequency shifts and two distance characteristic quantities,but the system is unobservable only by using the observed information of the target azimuth and distance characteristic quantity under the condition that the sonar platform moves in a straight *** the condition that the initial distance is 5 n mile,the Monte Carlo simulations show that the average convergence time of the three-dimensional information measured method is about 200 s less than that of the reference method,and the standard deviation of the convergence time is about 40 s *** the initial distance between the target and the sonar platform,the average convergence time difference between the two methods tends to increase,which means the robustness of the three-dimensional information construction method is better than that of the reference *** experimental data further verify that the estimation of target distance tends to converge in about 300 ***,this method can realize passive ranging of a moving sound source under the condition of stable interference structure.

The fuel supply quantity of high-pressure pump and the fuel supply quality from constant pressure valve to high pressure vitta was very important to capacity of the diesel engine. In this paper, the model of the fuel injection system is established by Hydism and the model is integrated with Isight in DOE research. According to the DOE results, two optimization interdigitations were used to optimize the fuel injection system to improve the cubage efficiency of high-pressure pump and the flow capacity of delivery valve. The optimization results showed that the united use with system model and DOE in optimization design of the fuel injection system is effectively and the cubage efficiency of pump could be promoted 5.97 % and the flow capacity of delivery valve could be promoted 24.65%.
