The Optimization Design of the Nozzle Section for theWater Jet Propulsion System Applied in Jet Skis

The performance of a water jet propulsion system is related to the inlet duct,rotor,stator,and ***,the flow inlet design must fit the bottom line of the hull,and the design of the inlet duct is often limited by stern *** entire section,from the rotor to the nozzle through the stator,must be designed based on system integration in that the individual performance of these three components will influence each ***,the section from the rotor to the nozzle significantly impacts the performance of a water jet propulsion *** study focused on nozzle design and established referable analysis results to facilitate subsequent integrated studies on the design parameters regarding nozzle *** existing studies concentrate on discussions on rotor design and the tip leakage flow of rotors or have replaced the existing complex computational domain with a simple flow ***,research has yet to implement an integrated,optimal design of the section from the rotor to the *** the above,our program conducted preliminary research on this system integration design issue,discussed the optimal nozzle for this section in-depth,and proposed design suggestions based on the *** program used an existing model as the design *** study referred to the actual trial data as the design conditions for the proposed *** prior references’simple flow field form,this study added a jet ski geometry and free surface to the computational *** the linear hull shape was considered,the inflow in the inlet duct would be closer to the actual *** on the numerical calculation result,this study recommends that the optimal nozzle outlet area should be 37%of the inlet area and that the nozzle contour should be ***,for the pump head,static pressure had a more significant impact than dynamic pressure.

Efficient password authentication schemes based on a geometric approach for a multi-server environment

Password authentication schemes based on a geometric approach are proposed. Based on geometrics such as a plane or space, the proposed schemes can be used to fulfill the various requirements for security and achieve more efficient results. They allow a user to register with many servers once without remembering different passwords for each, and also allow a user to change the password freely and update it offline. In addition, the proposed schemes do not need to maintain a verification table and are also computationally efficient. Moreover, we propose a specific access right (AR) to verify the legitimate user who has different authorization levels on a server in a multi-server environment.

Dielectric materials,such as barium titanate(BT)-based materials,have excellent dielectric properties but require high temperatures(above 1300℃)for ceramic fabrication,leading to high costs and energy *** cold sintering process(CSP)offers a solution to these issues and is gaining worldwide attention as an innovative fabrication *** this work,we proposed an alternative organic ferroelectric phase,gamma-glycine(γ-GC),which acts as a transient liquid phase to fabricate high-density composites with barium titanate(BT)at low temperatures through *** findings show that the density of 15γ-GC/85BT reached 96.7%±1.6%when it was sintered at 120℃for 6 h under 10 MPa uniaxial *** electron microscopy‒energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(SEM‒EDS)mappings of the composite suggested thatγ-GC completely underwent the precipitation-dissolution process and,therefore,filled between BT ***,X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)confirmed the preservation ofγ-GC without undesired phase *** addition,the ferroelectric and dielectric properties ofγ-GC/BT composites have been *** high dielectric constant(ε_(r))was 3600,and the low dielectric loss(tanδ)was 1.20 at 200℃and 100 kHz for the 15γ-GC/85BT *** hysteresis loop showed a remanent polarization(P_(r))of 0.55µC·cm^(−2)and a coercive field(E_(c))of 7.25 kV·cm^(−1).Our findings reaffirmed that an organic ferroelectric material(γ-GC)can act as a transient liquid phase in a CSP that can successfully and sustainably fabricateγ-GC/BT composites at low temperatures while delivering outstandingly high performance.

The development of lithium-metal batteries(LMBs)is seriously restricted by the out-of-control dendrites growth and infinite volume ***,a pervasive organic-inorganic layer construction strategy is reported for the composite lithium metal anode with congener-derived organic-inorganic solid electrolyte interphase(SEI).In this strategy,the organic-inorganic Ag@polydopamine(Ag@PDA)layer is coated on the arbitrary substrates by a simple two-step *** thin and stable congener-derived SEI is insitu formed with fewer inorganic components and more organic components during charging/*** polydopamine with sufficient adhesion groups and lithiophilic Ag layer realize near-zero nucleation overpotential during lithium *** low interface resistance and stable lithium deposition are ***,the practical areal and volumetric capacities of the composite anode with three-dimensional copper(3DCu)as the substrate are 10 mAh/cm^(2)and 1538 mAh/cm^3(*** mass of anode).The symmetrical cell shows very low polarization voltage(10 mV)and more than 2500 h cycles life at 1 mA/cm^(2)(1 mAh/cm^(2)).The LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)-based full cells show improved capacity retention(82%)after 100 cycles at 0.5 *** modified lithiophilic anode with congener-derived interphase provides a promising strategy to realize the next-generation dendrite-free LMBs.

In Bose-Einstein condensates （BECs）, skyrmions can be characterized by pairs of linking vortex rings coming from two-component wave functions. Here we construct skyrmions by studying critical points of Gross-Pitaevskii functionals with two-component wave functions. Using localized energy method, we rigorously prove the existence, and describe the configurations of skyrmions in such BECs.

Diamond grits held in metal matrix(sintered or electroplated) are retained primary by mechanical *** of this weak attachment,the pullouts of diamond from matrix are inevitable during the cutting ***,the working grits have low protrusion heights,so the cutting speed of the tool is limited. Furthermore,the rubbing of metal matrix and the work object can cause thermal damages of diamond and other materials,and power increase for the operation. Diamond can be firmly held in a metal matrix by *** of the presence of strong chemical bonding,diamond grits can protrude twice as high without being knocked off from the *** a result,the cutting speed of the tool may be doubled. When the braze melts,the carbide formers will migrate toward diamond to form carbide at the interface. This reaction may be excessive as to degrade diamond *** this case,a coating on diamond may be needed to moderate the reaction. When diamond is brazed on the surface of a substrate,the melt tends to pull the grits closer together that may thicken the braze layer *** clustering of grits can reduce the cutting effectiveness of the diamond tool.A diamond grid design is necessary to maintain the uniform thickness of the braze ***,the controlled melting of braze alloy can form a gentle slope around each diamond *** a massive support can allow aggressive cutting of the diamond tool with a low power consumption.

Background:Evidence on the health benefits of occupational physical activity(OPA)is *** examined the associations of baseline OPA and OPA changes with all-cause,cardiovascular disease(CVD),and cancer mortality and survival ***:This study included prospective and longitudinal data from the MJ Cohort,comprising adults over 18 years recruited in 1998-2016,349,248 adults(177,314 women)with baseline OPA,of whom 105,715(52,503 women)had 2 OPA measures at 6.3±4.2 years(mean±SD)*** were baseline OPA,OPA changes,and baseline leisure-time physical ***:Over a mean mortality follow-up of 16.2±5.5 years for men and 16.4±5.4 years for women,11,696 deaths(2033 of CVD and 4631 of cancer causes)in men and 8980 deaths(1475 of CVD and 3689 of cancer causes)in women *** moderately heavy/heavy baseline OPA was beneficially associated with all-cause mortality in men(multivariable-adjusted hazard ratio(HR)=0.93,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.89-0.98 compared to light OPA)and women(HR=0.86,95%CI:0.79-0.93).Over a mean mortality follow-up of 12.5±4.6 years for men and 12.6±4.6 years for women,OPA decreases in men were detrimentally associated(HR=1.16,95%CI:1.01-1.33)with all-cause mortality,while OPA increases in women were beneficially(HR=0.83,95%CI:0.70-0.97)associated with the same *** or changes in OPA showed no associations with CVD or cancer ***:Higher baseline OPA was beneficially associated with all-cause mortality risk in both men and *** longitudinal OPA analyses partly confirmed the prospective findings,with some discordance between sex groups.

An Improved Transfer-Learning for Image-Based Species Classification of Protected Indonesians Birds

This research proposed an improved transfer-learning bird classification framework to achieve a more precise classification of Protected Indonesia Birds(PIB)which have been identified as the endangered bird *** framework takes advantage of using the proposed sequence of Batch Normalization Dropout Fully-Connected(BNDFC)layers to enhance the baseline model of transfer *** main contribution of this work is the proposed sequence of BNDFC that can be applied to any Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)based model to improve the classification accuracy,especially for image-based species classification *** experiment results show that the proposed sequence of BNDFC layers outperform other combination of *** addition of BNDFC can improve the model’s performance across ten different CNN-based *** average,BNDFC can improve by approximately 19.88%in Accuracy,24.43%in F-measure,17.93%in G-mean,23.41%in Sensitivity,and 18.76%in ***,applying fine-tuning(FT)is able to enhance the accuracy by 0.85%with a smaller validation loss of 18.33%*** addition,MobileNetV2 was observed to be the best baseline model with the lightest size of 35.9 MB and the highest accuracy of 88.07%in the validation set.

Numerical Method of Fabric Dynamics Using Front Tracking and Spring Model

We use front tracking data structures and functions to model the dynamic evolution of fabric *** represent the fabric surface by a triangulated mesh with preset equilibrium side *** stretching and wrinkling of the surface are modeled by the mass-spring *** external driving force is added to the fabric motion through the"Impulse method"which computes the velocity of the point mass by superposition of *** mass-spring system is a nonlinear ODE *** by the numerical and computational analysis,we show that the spring system has an upper bound of the eigen *** analyzed the system by considering two spring models and we proved in one case that all eigenvalues are imaginary and there exists an upper bound for the *** upper bound plays an important role in determining the numerical stability and accuracy of the ODE *** on this analysis,we analyzed the numerical accuracy and stability of the nonlinear spring mass system for fabric surface and its tangential and normal *** used the fourth order Runge-Kutta method to solve the ODE system and showed that the time step is linearly dependent on the mesh size for the system.
