Fracture is the primary failure type for the UO2ceramic pellets,which are operated under irradiation and thermal processes,and physically confined by the *** this work,by combining closely coupled physical processes of heat conduction,heat transfer,and mechanical deformation with the cohesive phase field framework,we proposed a high-precision modeling of quasistatic cracking of three-dimensional （3D） UO2ceramic fuel pellets under high temperature and *** simulation results agree well with the experimental results,indicating that the proposed method has the potential to capture 3D crack modes in the interested time ***,we studied the relation of the 3D fracture patterns of fuel pellets with the peak power *** was found that the power level plays a critical role in determining the competition between radial and circumferential cracks,as well as transverse penetrating cracks.

This paper presents the results of numerical simulation of plasma equilibrium and stability in the MEPHIST-0 tokamak with SIEMNED software and comparison of simulation results with *** determined characteristics of the vacuum chamber show that it significantly affects the entire *** various scenarios of the inductor operation,a comparison of experimental data and simulated currents and magnetic fields induced in the chamber was carried *** steady-state tokamak operation,a numerical study of equilibrium plasma configurations was carried out depending on the currents in the poloidal magnetic field coils and plasma *** vertical plasma instability was *** limiting values of plasma ellipticity preventing the vertical plasma instability were numerically *** simulations show that plasma equilibrium is supported by induced *** was shown numerically that magnetic configuration with‘zero of higher order’were obtained before the plasma shot,suggesting consistency between the simulation results and observations.

In inertial fusion energy(IFE) research, a considerable attention has recently been focused on the issue of large target fabrication for MJ-class laser facilities. The ignition and high-gain target designs require a condensed uniform layer of hydrogen fuel on the inside of a spherical shell. In this report, we discuss the current status and further trends in the area of developing the layering techniques intended to produce ignition, and layering techniques proposed to high repetition rate and mass production of IFE targets.

Primordial black holes （PBHs） are a profound signature of primordial cosmological structures and provide a theoretical tool to study nontrivial physics of the early Universe. The mechanisms of PBH formation are discussed and observational constraints on the PBH spectrum, or effects of PBH evaporation, are shown to restrict a wide range of particle physics models, predicting an enhancement of the ultraviolet part of the spectrum of density perturbations, early dust-like stages, first order phase transitions and stages of superheavy metastable particle dominance in the early Universe. The mechanism of closed wall contraction can lead, in the inflationary Universe, to a new approach to galaxy formation, involving primordial clouds of massive BHs created around the intermediate mass or supermassive BH and playing the role of galactic seeds.

We present simulation results on evolution development of orbital motion of short-period comets with the revolution period not exceeding 6-7 years, namely comets 21P/Giacobini-Zinner, 26P/Grigg- Skjellerup and 7P/Pons-Winnecke. The calculations cover the range from the date of the object＇s discovery to 2100. Variations in the objects＇ orbital elements under the action of gravity disturbances, taking Earth＇s gravitational potential into account when the small body approaches, are analyzed. Corrected dates of peri- helion passages can be used for scheduling observations.

Hot Vertical-Displacement-Event Process due to Internal Energy Perturbations for HL-2M Tokamak Plasma

During the tokamak operation, variation of the stored energy can cause internal perturbations of the plasma. These perturbations may develop into large-scale vertical movement of the whole column for the vertically elon- gated tokamak, eventually generating the hot vertical displacement event （VIDE,）. It will cause considerable damage to the machine. In this work, the hot VDE process due to stored energy perturbations is investigated by a mature non-linear time-evolution code DINA. The influence on the vertical instability, the displacement direction and the electromagnetic loads on in-vessel components during the hot VDE are analyzed. It is shown that a larger perturbation leads to faster development of the vertical instability. Meanwhile the variation of the Shafranov shift, due to the energy change, is related to the VDE direction. The vertical electromagnetic force on the vacuum vessel and the halo current flowing in the divertor baffle become larger in the case of VDE moving towards the X point.

In this study,experiments were performed at bremsstrahlung end-point energies of 10-23 MeV with the beam from the MT-25 microtron using theγ-activation *** experimental values of relative yields were compared with theoretical results obtained on the basis of TALYS with the standard parameters and the combined model of photonucleon *** isospin splitting in the combined model of photonucleon reactions allows describing experimental data on reactions with proton escape in the energy range from 10 to 23 ***,taking into account isospin splitting is necessary for a correct description of the decay of the giant dipole resonance.
