is it better to be safe than sorry?This Hamletic dilemma has always stimulated medical-scientific debates in numerous fields of *** among these,the preventive-therapeutic approach to the treatment of brain trauma is one of the most striking *** brain injury(TBi)is a leading cause of brain damage among young and elderly populations with a very high hospitalization and death *** is characterized by two pathologically distinct but strictly consequential phases:a first characterized by an immediate and highly variable mechanical dysfunction of the brain tissue,which involves widespread cell death and tissue degeneration,followed by a second phase which can last from days to even years depending on the severity of the TBi and the patient’s pre-existing health *** processes,including inflammatory phenomena,oxidative stress associated with metabolic,vascular,and neuro-modulatory deficits,are very often responsible for neuro-motor and psychological deficits leading to long-term disabilities(Kaur and Sharma,2018).

With the expansion and implementation of rural revitalization strategies,there is a constant need for new energy sources for the construction of new ***,integrated energy systems with the interconnection and interaction of multiple energy sources are developing *** energy,a renewable green energy source with low pollution and wide distribution,has significant application potential in integrated energy *** the application of biomass energy in townships,this study established an integrated biomass energy system and proposed a model to optimize its *** economic cost and highest clean energy utilization rate were considered as the objective *** addition,a plan was suggested to adjust the heat-electricity ratio based on the characteristics of the combined heat and power of the ***,a simulation analysis conducted for a town in China was discussed,demonstrating that the construction of a township integrated-energy system and the use of biomass can significantly reduce operating costs and improve the energy utilization ***,by adjusting the heat-electricity ratio,the economic cost was further reduced by 6.70%,whereas the clean energy utilization rate was increased by 5.14%.

The influence of a mechanical structure's volume increment on the volume power density (VpD) of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) is often neglected when considering surface charge density and surface power density. This paper aims to address this gap by introducing a standardized VpD metric for a more comprehensive evaluation of TENG performance. The study specifically focuses on 2 frequency-up mechanisms, namely, the integration of planetary gears (pG-TENG) and the implementation of a double-cantilever structure (DC-TENG), to investigate their impact on VpD. The study reveals that the pG-TENG achieves the highest volume average power density, measuring at 0.92 W/m^(3). This value surpasses the DC-TENG by 1.26 times and the counterpart TENG by a magnitude of 69.9 times. Additionally, the pG-TENG demonstrates superior average power output. These findings introduce a new approach for enhancing TENGs by incorporating frequency-up mechanisms, and highlight the importance of VpD as a key performance metric for evaluating TENGs.

Meso-Neoarchean fuchsite quartzites are present in different strati.r.p.i. positions of Dharwar Craton including the oldest(~3.3 Ga)Sargur Group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteristics of the fuchsite quartzites from the Ghattihosahalli belt to evaluate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma involved in the ancient sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages include quartz,fuchsite,and feldspars along with accessory kyanite and *** geochemical com-positions are characterized by high SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,CaO,strongly enriched Cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),Sr(46–210 ppm),V(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents compared to the upper continental crust(UCC).The UCC normalized rare earth element(rEE)patterns are characterized by depleted light rEE[(La/Sm)UCC=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy rEE[(Gd/Yb)_(UCC)=0.42–1.65]with conspicuous positive Eu-anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteristic of hydrothermal solutions evidenced through the interlayered *** overall major and trace element systematics reflect a combined mafic-felsic provenance and suggest their deposition at a passive continental margin *** comprehensivefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical studies indicate that these quartzites are infiltrated by Cr-richfluids released during high-grade metamorphism of associated ultramafic *** Sargur and the subse-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated diverse lithounits from different tectonic settings,possibly leading to the release of Cr-richfluids and the formation of fuchsite quartzite during or after the *** sug-gest a pre-existing stable crust prior to the Sargur Group and the link between orogenic events and various mineral deposits in the Dharwar Craton.

Nano 3C-SiC@multilayer graphene oxide(NS@MGO)heterostructure was in situ prepared by carbothermal reduction of pyrolyzed precursor composed of highly dispersed cured phenolic resin and silicon dioxide derived from tetraethyl *** heterojunction interface,number of layers of MGO,and defect content in graphene are the three most important factors for promoting photocatalytic *** contact between 3C-SiC nanograins and MGO layers facilitates the photogenerated electrons to migrate across the heterojunction interface and avoid the formation of SiO_(2) nanolayers on the surface of SiC *** number of MGO layers is supposed to be less than ten instead of over-thick *** concentrations of oxygenated components,considered the defect contents,decrease with the increase of sintering temperature for NS@MGO 0.175-T-150,and relative carbon content in the multilayer graphene *** to the heterostructures,properties,and photocatalytic reaction performance of the NS@MGO materials,the highest photocatalytic kinetic rate constant of 0.00891/min for NS@MGO 0.175-1500-150 shows that the significant enhancement in photocatalytic degradation activity under visible light(>420 nm)irradiation is ascribed to the advantageous synergistic effects between the nano 3C-SiC particles and the direct contact multilayer graphene oxide with appropriate layers and sufficient oxygen content of 3.51%(atomic fraction)in MGO.

The power internet of Things(ioT)is a significant trend in technology and a requirement for national strategic *** the deepening digital transformation of the power grid,China’s power system has initially built a power ioT architecture comprising a perception,network,and platform application ***,owing to the structural complexity of the power system,the construction of the power ioT continues to face problems such as complex access management of massive heterogeneous equipment,diverse ioT protocol access methods,high concurrency of network communications,and weak data security *** address these issues,this study optimizes the existing architecture of the power ioT and designs an integrated management framework for the access of multi-source heterogeneous data in the power ioT,comprising cloud,pipe,edge,and terminal *** further reviews and analyzes the key technologies involved in the power ioT,such as the unified management of the physical model,high concurrent access,multi-protocol access,multi-source heterogeneous data storage management,and data security control,to provide a more flexible,efficient,secure,and easy-to-use solution for multi-source heterogeneous data access in the power ioT.

A wide survey was conducted to study plant-parasitic nematodes(ppNs)associated with prunus groves in *** research aimed to determine the prevalence and distribution of ppNs in prunus groves,as well as the influence of explanatory variables describing soil,climate and agricultural management in structuring the variation of ppNs community composition.A total of 218 sampling sites were surveyed and 84 ppN species belonging to 32 genera were identified based of an integrative taxonomic *** species considered as potential limiting factors in prunus production,such as Meloidogyne arenaria,***,***,pratylenchus penetrans and ***,were identified in this *** soil physico-chemical(C,Mg,N,Na,OM,p,pH and clay,loamy sand and sandy loam texture classes),four climate(Bio04,Bio05,Bio13 and Bio14)and four agricultural management variables(grove-use history less than 10 years,irrigation,apricot seedling rootstock,and Montclar rootstock)were identified as the most influential variables driving spatial patterns of ppNs *** particular,younger plantations showed higher values for species richness and diversity indices than groves cultivated for more than 20 years with prunus *** study increases the knowledge of the distribution and prevalence of ppNs associated with prunus rhizosphere,as well as on the influence of explanatory variables driving the spatial structure ppNs communities,which has important implications for the successful design of sustainable management strategies in the future in this agricultural system.
