In 2017,China achieved the target of zero indigenous malaria case for the first time,and has been certified as malaria free by World Health Organization in *** further summarize the historical achievements and technical experiences of the elimination program,a project on the Roadmap Analysis and Verification for malaria Elimination in China was carried *** of the project were compiled and published as the Atlas of malaria Transmission in China(The Atlas).The Atlas using modern digital information technologies,has been supported by various data from 24 malaria endemic provinces of China since 1950,to assess the changes in malaria epidemic patterns from 1950 to 2019 at national and provincial *** Atlas is designed as two volumes,including a total of 1850 thematic maps and more than 130 charts,consisting of introductory maps,thematic maps of malaria epidemic and control at national and provincial *** objectively and directly shows the epidemic history,evolution process,and great achievements of the national malaria control and elimination program in *** Atlas has important reference value for summing up historical experience in the national malaria elimination program of China,and malaria control and elimination in other endemic countries in the world.

Impulsive thrust strategy for orbital pursuit-evasion games based on impulse-like constraint

This paper proposes a novel impulsive thrust strategy guided by optimal continuous thrust strategy to address two-player orbital pursuit-evasion game under impulsive thrust *** strategy seeks to enhance the interpretability of impulsive thrust strategy by integrating it within the framework of differential game in traditional continuous ***,this paper introduces an impulse-like constraint,with periodical changes in thrust amplitude,to characterize the impulsive thrust ***,the game with the impulse-like constraint is converted into the two-point boundary value problem,which is solved by the combined shooting and deep learning method proposed in this *** learning and numerical optimization are employed to obtain the guesses for unknown terminal adjoint variables and the game terminal ***,the accurate values are solved by the shooting method to yield the optimal continuous thrust strategy with the impulse-like ***,the shooting method is iteratively employed at each impulse decision moment to derive the impulsive thrust strategy guided by the optimal continuous thrust *** examples demonstrate the convergence of the combined shooting and deep learning method,even if the strongly nonlinear impulse-like constraint is *** effect of the impulsive thrust strategy guided by the optimal continuous thrust strategy is also discussed.

Value Iteration-Based Distributed Adaptive Dynamic programming for Multi-Player Differential Game With Incomplete Information

In this paper, a distributed adaptive dynamic programming(ADP) framework based on value iteration is proposed for multi-player differential games. In the game setting,players have no access to the information of others' system parameters or control laws. Each player adopts an on-policy value iteration algorithm as the basic learning framework. To deal with the incomplete information structure, players collect a period of system trajectory data to compensate for the lack of information. The policy updating step is implemented by a nonlinear optimization problem aiming to search for the proximal admissible policy. Theoretical analysis shows that by adopting proximal policy searching rules, the approximated policies can converge to a neighborhood of equilibrium policies. The efficacy of our method is illustrated by three examples, which also demonstrate that the proposed method can accelerate the learning process compared with the centralized learning framework.

Release characteristics of arsenic from sediments and its source or sink competition with phosphorus:A case of a great lake with grass-algae alternation

The arsenic(As)release from sediments in great lakes is affected by various *** this study,the characteristics of As release fromsediments was investigated,and the As sources and sinks with the strengths in sediments from different areas(grass-type,algae-type,and grass-algae alternation areas)in great shallow lakes(Taihu Lake,China)were analyzed,and the influence of P competition in the process of As release was also *** results showed that changing trend of the values of equilibrium As concentration in sediments were consistent with the regional changes(0 to 28.12μg/L),and the sediments from algaetype areas had the higher *** sediments from western lake and northwest lake bay were a strong As and a weak P source,and the north lake bay had the opposite trend of these two *** P source competition with As from the sediments occurred in algae-type *** grass-type areas had strong As and P retention capacities,indicating a sink role of sediment with high As and P sorption *** degree of As and P saturation had similar trend in sediments,and the grass-type areas had the higher values,18.3%-21.4%and 15.31%-20.34%,*** analysis results showed that most of As release contribution was from the bottom(30-50 cm)sediments,and the surface(0-10 cm)sediments from algae-type areas contributed more to the overlying water than other region.

Exploring the diversity of dissolved organic matter(DOM)properties and sources in different functional areas of a typical macrophyte-derived lake combined with optical spectroscopy and FT-ICR MS analysis

Lake Baiyangdian is one of China’s largest macrophyte-derived lakes,facing severe challenges related to water quality maintenance and eutrophication *** organic matter(DOM)was a huge carbon pool and its abundance,property,and transformation played important roles in the biogeochemical cycle and energy flow in lake *** this study,Lake Baiyangdian was divided into four distinct areas:Unartificial Area(UA),Village Area(VA),Tourism Area(TA),and Breeding Area(BA).We examined the diversity of DOM properties and sources across these functional *** findings reveal that DOM in this lake is predominantly composed of protein-like substances,as determined by excitation-emission matrix and parallel factor analysis(EEM-PARAFAC).Notably,the exogenous tyrosine-like component C1 showed a stronger presence in VA and BA compared to UA and ***-resolution mass spectrometry(FT-ICR MS)unveiled a similar DOM molecular composition pattern across different functional areas due to the high relative abundances of lignan compounds,suggesting that macrophytes significantly influence the material structure of *** properties exhibited specific associations with water quality indicators in various functional areas,as indicated by the Mantel *** connections between DOM properties and NO_(3)-N andNH3-Nwere more pronounced in VA and BA than in UA and *** results underscore the viability of using DOM as an indicator for more precise and scientific water quality management.

Objective The results of limited studies on the relationship between environmental pollution and dementia have been *** analyzed the combined effects of PM_(2.5)and smoking on the prevalence of dementia and cognitive impairment in an elderly community-dwelling Chinese *** We assessed 24,117 individuals along with the annual average PM_(2.5)concentrations from 2012 to *** was confirmed in the baseline survey at a qualified clinical facility,and newly suspected dementia was assessed in 2017,after excluding cases of suspected dementia in *** census data were used to weight the sample data to reflect the entire population in China,with multiple logistic regression performed to analyze the combined effects of PM_(2.5)and smoking frequency on dementia and cognitive *** Individuals exposed to the highest PM_(2.5)concentration and smoked daily were at higher risk of dementia than those in the lowest PM_(2.5)concentration group(OR,1.603;95%CI[1.626−1.635],P<0.0001)and in the nonsmoking group(OR,1.248;95%CI[1.244−1.252];P<0.0001).Moderate PM_(2.5)exposure and occasional smoking together increased the short-term risk of cognitive *** PM_(2.5)exposure and smoking were associated with an increased risk of dementia,so more efforts are needed to reduce this risk through environmental protection and antismoking *** High-level PM_(2.5)exposure and smoking were associated with an increased risk of *** the ambient PM_(2.5),and smoking cessation are recommended to promote health.

Adaptive control of a Flexible Manipulator With Unknown Hysteresis and Intermittent Actuator Faults

In this study, we consider a single-link flexible manipulator in the presence of an unknown Bouc-Wen type of hysteresis and intermittent actuator faults. First, an inverse hysteresis dynamics model is introduced, and then the control input is divided into an expected input and an error compensator. Second,a novel adaptive neural network-based control scheme is proposed to cancel the unknown input hysteresis. Subsequently,by modifying the adaptive laws and local control laws, a fault-tolerant control strategy is applied to address uncertain intermittent actuator faults in a flexible manipulator system. Through the direct Lyapunov theory, the proposed scheme allows the state errors to asymptotically converge to a specified interval. Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified through numerical simulations and experiments.
