A Safe and reliable Heterogeneous Controller deployment Approach in SdN

Software-defined Networking(SdN)provides flexible and global network management by decoupling control plane from data plane,and multiple controllers are deployed in the network in a logically centralized and physically distributed ***,the existing approaches generally deploy the controllers with the same type in the network,which easily causes homogeneous controller common-mode *** this end,this paper proposes heterogeneous controller deployment in the SdN,considering the different types of controllers and relevant criteria(e.g.,delay,control link interruption rate,and controller fault rate).Then,we introduce a Safe and reliable Heterogeneous Controller deployment(SrHCd)approach,consisting of two *** 1 determines the type and the number of heterogeneous controllers required for the SdN network based on the dynamic *** 2 divides the SdN network into multiple subnets by k-means algorithm and improves the genetic algorithm to optimize the heterogeneous controller deployment in these SdN subnets to ensure reliable switch-controller ***,the simulation results show that the proposed approach can effectively reduce the control plane fault rate and increase the attack ***,the switch-controller delay has been lowered by 16.5%averagely.

The 5G IoT(Internet of Things,IoT)is easier to implement in location privacy-preserving *** terminals in distributed network architecture blur their accurate locations into a spatial cloaking region but most existing spatial cloaking algorithms cannot work well because of man-in-the-middle attacks,high communication overhead,time consumption,and the lower success *** paper proposes an algorithm that can recommend terminal’s privacy requirements based on getting terminal distribution information in the neighborhood after cross-layer authentication and therefore help 5G IoT terminals find enough collaborative terminals safely and *** approach shows it can avoid man-in-the-middle attacks and needs lower communication costs and less searching time than 520ms at the same *** has a great anonymization success rate by 93%through extensive simulation experiments for a range of 5G IoT scenarios.

despite the critical role that middleboxes play in introducing new network functionality,management and innovation of them are still severe challenges for network operators,since traditional middleboxes based on hardware lack service flexibility and ***,though new networking technologies,such as network function virtualization(NFV) and softwaredefined networking(SdN),are considered as very promising drivers to design cost-efficient middlebox service architectures,how to guarantee transmission efficiency has drawn little attention under the condition of adding virtual service process for ***,we focus on the service deployment problem to reduce the transport delay in the network with a combination of NFV and ***,a framework is designed for service placement decision,and an integer linear programming model is proposed to resolve the service placement and minimize the network transport *** a heuristic solution is designed based on the improved quantum genetic *** results show that our proposed method can calculate automatically the optimal placement *** scheme can achieve lower overall transport delay for a network compared with other schemes and reduce 30% of the average traffic transport delay compared with the random placement scheme.

New precisely cooperative attacks, such as the coordi- nated cross plane session termination （CXPST） attack, need thou- sands upon thousands machines to attack diverse selected links simultaneously with the given rate. However, almost all command and control（C＆C） mechanisms only provide publishing one com- mand to the whole once, so-called one-to-all C＆C model, and are not productive to support CXPST-alike attacks. In this paper, we present one-to-any C＆C model on coordination among the unco- operative controlled nodes. As an instance of one-to-any C＆C model, directional command publishing （dCP） mechanism lever- aging on Kademlia is provided with a range-mapping key creating algorithm for commands to compute the publishing range and a statistically stochastic node querying scheme to obtain the com- mands immediately. With theoretical analysis and simulation, it is indicated that one-to-any C＆C model fits for precisely coordi- nated operation on uncooperative controlled nodes with least complexity, better accuracy and efficiency. Furthermore, dCP mechanism can support one-to-all command publishing at the same time. As an example of future C＆C model, studying on one-to-any C＆C model may help to promote the development of more efficient countermeasures.

distance vector routing protocols have been widely adopted as an efcient routing mechanism in current Internet,and many wireless ***,as is well-known,the existing distance vector routing protocols are insecure as it lacks of efective authorization mechanisms and routing updates aggregated from other *** a result,the network routing-based attacks become a critical issue which could lead to a more deteriorate performance than other general network *** efciently address this issue,this paper,through analyzing the routing model and its security aspect,and presents a novel approach on guaranteeing the routing *** on the model,we present the security mechanism including the message exchange and update message security authentication *** suggested approach shows that the security mechanism can efectively verify the integrity and validate the freshness of routing update messages received from neighbor *** comparison with exiting mechanisms(SdV,S-rIP etc),the proposed model provides enhanced security without introducing significant network overheads and complexity.

Spectral efficiency(SE) and energy efficiency(EE) in secure communications is of primary importance due to the fact that 5 G wireless networks aim to achieve high throughput,low power consumption and high level of ***,maximizing SE and EE are not achievable *** this paper,we investigate the SE and EE tradeoff for secure transmission in cognitive relay networks where all nodes are randomly *** first introduce the opportunistic relay selection policy,where each primary transmitter communicates with the primary receiver with the help of a secondary user as a ***,we evaluate the secure SE and secure EE of the primary network based on the outage probabilities ***,by applying a unified SE-EE tradeoff metric,the secure SE and EE tradeoff problem is formulated as the joint secure SE and EE maximization *** the non-concave feature of the objective function,an iterative algorithm is proposed to improve secure SE and EE *** results show that the opportunistic relay selection policy is always superior to random relay selection ***,the opportunistic relay selection policy outperforms conventional direct transmission policy when faced with small security threat(i.e.,for smaller eavesdropper density).

Network functions virtualization(NFV) increases network flexibility and scalability by virtualizing network functions running on the general servers and opens the network innovations by outsourcing VNF instances in 5G ***,it leads to the incompatibility issue among different VNF instances,which makes operators difficult to determine which VNF instances to select for Service Function Chains(SFCs).In this paper,we divide VNF instances with high compatibility into clusters used for combining VNF instances in 5G ***,we define compatibility among different VNF ***,aiming to maximize compatibility of each cluster,we propose a novel hypergraph clustering model that divides the VNF instances into multiple ***,the hypergraph clustering model is transformed to an evolutionary ***,the cluster establishing is transformed to the game equilibrium ***,we propose a discrete time high order replicator dynamic algorithm to find the game ***,the simulation results show that the proposed approach can improve the quality of SFCs.

Under the requirement of everything over IP, network service shows the following characteristics:(1) network service increases its richness;(2) broadband streaming media becomes the mainstream. To achieve unified multi-service bearing in the IP network, the largescale access convergence network architecture is proposed. This flat access convergence structure with ultra-small hops, which shortens the service transmission path, reduces the complexity of the edge of the network, and achieves IP strong waist model with the integration of computation, storage and transmission. The key technologies are also introduced in this paper, including endto-end performance guarantee for real time interactive services, fog storing mechanism, and built-in safety transmission with integration of aggregation and control.

The methanol-to-olefins（MTO） reaction offers an alternative pathway for the production of low-carbon olefins from non-oil feedstocks. Fundamental research has been impeded by a lack of comprehensive understanding of its underlying mechanism,despite the significant progress made in industry. In-situ solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance（ss NMr） spectroscopy has emerged as a pivotal tool, offering crucial insights into key species under real-time operando conditions. Furthermore, the host–guest interaction between zeolites or surface species residing on zeolites and the reactant/active intermediates is revealed by the combination of in-situ13C MAS NMr and 2d correlation spectroscopy. Moreover, recent technological advancements in hyperpolarization（HP） methods, including HP129Xe NMr and dynamic nuclear polarization（dNP）, have significantly improved the sensitivity of ss NMr, enabling detailed structural and kinetic analysis as well as the detection of trace species. In this feature article, we summarized recent advancements in（in-situ） ss NMr spectroscopy applied to MTO reaction processes,encompassing mechanistic investigations at various stages and the intricate host–guest interactions. These theoretical insights into the dynamic evolution of MTO reactions lay a solid foundation for the optimization of catalytic processes and the development of efficient catalysts, thereby advancing the techniques towards more sustainable and economical production route for olefins.
