Nicotine is widely recognized as the primary contributor to tobacco *** studies have indicated that molecular and behavioral responses to nicotine are primarily mediated by ventral tegmental area(VTA)neurons,and accumulating evidence suggests that glia play prominent roles in nicotine ***,VTA neurons and glia have yet to be characterized at the transcriptional level during the progression of nicotine ***,a male mouse model of nicotine self-administration is established and the timing of three critical phases(pre-addiction,addicting,and post-addiction phase)is ***-nucleus RNA sequencing in the VTA at each phase is performed to comprehensively classify specific cell *** changes occurred during the addicting and post-addiction phases,with the addicting phase displaying highly dynamic neuroplasticity that profoundly impacts the transcription in each cell ***,significant transcriptional changes in energy metabolism-related genes are observed,accompanied by notable structural alterations in neuronal mitochondria during the progression of nicotine *** results provide insights into mechanisms underlying the progression of nicotine addiction,serving as an important resource for identifying potential molecular targets for nicotine cessation.

The main cable bent around the saddle of the suspension bridge is subjected to the wind,the vehicle,the bridge’s own weight and the corrosive *** coupling of the three loads and the environments causes the friction,the corrosion,and the fatigue(tribo-corrosion-fatigue)among the wires inside the main *** this paper,a wire bending tribo-corrosion-fatigue test rig was designed and *** effect of fatigue load on the bending friction behaviors between the cable wires in ultrapure water and 3.5%NaCl solution was *** tribological properties and electrochemical corrosion behaviors under different fatigue loading ranges were *** tribo-corrosion-fatigue interaction between the cable wires was quantitatively characterized,and the mechanism of the interaction was *** results demonstrate that the increasing fatigue load exacerbates the coupling damage of the cable wires attributed to the enhanced *** findings carry theoretical importance when assessing the main cable’s deterioration and the load-bearing safety of a suspension bridge.

Based on the recent development of renewable energy utilization technology,in addition to centralized photovol-taic power plants,distributed photovoltaic power generation systems represented by building-integrated photo-voltaic systems are frequently employed for power ***,in the architectural design,the double-glass photovoltaic module used in the integrated photovoltaic building system puts forward a higher load-bearing capa-city requirement and the corresponding simplified method of carrying capacity *** article focuses on the simplified method of checking the bearing capacity of the four-sided simply supported double-glass photovoltaic ***,the principle of equivalent stiffness is used to calculate the effective ***,the rationality of this approach is verified by comparing the bending states of sandwich panels under different shear *** double-glass photovoltaic module is equivalent to a single-layer board,and its effectiveness is verified by compar-ing the impact test results of the double-glass photovoltaic module with the results of the single-layer *** the comparison with the test results shows that,from the perspective of architectural design,the effective thick-ness results in this paper can ensure that the building structure has sufficient bearing capacity,but the four-side simply supported boundary theory cannot fully reflect the calculation of the bearing capacity of the four-side clamped double-glass photovoltaic module.

Preparation and Uncertainty Assessment of Standard Work Solution of Hexachlorobenzene,Malathion and Sulfotep

[ Objective ] To prepare standard work solution of three pesticides used in the intermediate check of gas chromatograph and evaluate the uncertainty of solution. [ Method ] In view of intermediate check needs of gas chromatograph, common pesticides in pesticide residual test were taken as the study objects, i.e., hexachlorabenzene, malathion and Sulfotep, state pesticide reference materials as the materials, volumetry was applied to prepare standard work solution of pesti- cides. Evenness and stability of the work solution was tested by using gas chromatographs installed with electron capture detector （ECD）, flame photometric detec- tor （FPD） and flame ionization detector （ FID）, respectively, and after the evaluation of concentration, uncertainty of the work solution was assessed from the per- spectives of raw materials, preparation process, evenness and stability. [ Result ] Mass concentrations of the three standard work solution was 0.1 mg/L, 10.0mg/ L, 100.0 mg/L, respectively, and relative expanded uncertainty 2.640%, 1. 980% and 2.400% （ k = 2）. [ Conclusion] The study offers technical support for the intermediate check of laboratory apparatuses.

Genetic diversity and differentiation of fall webworm (Hyphantria cunea Drury) populations

The molecular variation and genetic relationships among five populations of the fall webworm （Hyphantria cunea Drury） in China were assessed using microsatellite technology. Ten microsatellite primers, producing polymorphic bands, were used across 300 samples. The percentage of polymorphic loci （PPB） was 98.36%; the percentage of polymorphic loci in five populations ranged from high to low in the following order： Cangzhou population, Yantai population, Qinhuangdao population, Dandong population, and Shijiazhuang population. The results showed that 34.38% of the total genetic variation of the fall webworm （GsT） occurs among populations, while most variation （65.62%） exists within populations. Nei＇s genetic distances ranged from 0.1386 to 0.3224. Using the unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean （UPGMA）, Nei＇s genetic distances were analyzed by a clustering technique and the dendrogram shows that population differentiation is closely related to the time and geographic origin of the invasion. The major factors impacting genetic diversity of fall webworm populations are longitude, the plain area ratio, annual precipitation, latitude and time of invasion. The formation of genetic structure is correlated with characteristics of the life history and invasion ecology of the species.

Adverse impacts of exposure to formaldehyde on human health significantly increases attention in monitoring formaldehyde concentrations in the *** formaldehyde detection methods typically rely on large and costly instruments and requires high skills of expertise,preventing it from being widely accessible to *** study introduced a novel approach utilizing smartphone-based colorimetric *** of green channel signals of digital images by a smartphone successfully capture variation of purple color of 4-amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazol solution,which is proportional to formaldehyde *** is because that green and purple are complimentary color pairs.A calibration curve was established between green channel signals and formaldehyde concentrations,with a correlation coefficient of *** limit of the smartphone-based method is 0.008 mg/m^(3).Measurement errors decrease as formaldehyde concentrations increase,with median relative errors of 34%,17%,and 6%for concentration ranges of 0–0.06 mg/m^(3),0.06–0.12 mg/m^(3),and 0.12–0.35 mg/m^(3),*** method replaced scientific instrumentation with ordinary items,greatly reducing cost and operation *** would provide an opportunity to realize onsite measurements for formaldehyde by occupants themselves and increase awareness of air quality for better health protection.

Evaluation of five DNA extraction methods for commercial vegetable oils

To ensure food safety, it's vital to accurately detect genetically modified(GM)ingredient adulteration in food products and effectively detect the adulteration of vegetable oils from GM organisms(GMO). Therefore, it's essential to establish efficient DNA isolation method from vegetable oil. Here, we evaluate 5 DNA isolation methods using 25 commercial vegetable oils produced from soybean, peanut, corn, sunflower, rapeseed as well as blended oils. quality of isolated DNA was determined by Nanodrop 2000 spectrophotometry. Real-time PCR and universal gene tRNA-Leu was used to assess resolution of methods. Our results showed that only DNA samples isolated by modified emulsification method based on cetyl trimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) were able to amplify t RNA-Leu ***, Ct values of species specific endogenous reference genes were greater than 36 in these samples. In summary, CTAB method showed the best resolution on GMO adulteration detection for commercial vegetable oils, especially in fully refined oils.
