Purpose: We aimed to reveal the association between cognitive social capital and sexual awareness among high school students in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where adolescent premarital sex is considered to be wide-spreading as consequence of socioeconomic changes, in comparison to our previous study in Hanoi, 2012. Methods: We conducted a questionnaire-based survey and a cross sectional study in late 2014, with 2051 eleventh graders at three high schools in Ho Chi Minh City. Complete data was received from 1935 respondents (94.3%). We assessed basic attributes, sexual knowledge, sexual awareness, sexual experience of peers, cognitive social capital such as a sense of community belonging, and Rosenberg Self-Esteem score. After the independent t-test and multiple logistic regression analyses on sexual awareness were performed assigning trivalent Rosenberg Self-Esteem score, sexual knowledge, and sexual experience of peers as independent variables (model 1), followed by analysis adjusted for cognitive social capital (model 2). This study was approved by japanese Red Cross Akita college of nursing (No. 24-003). Results: Of 1935 respondents, 99.9% were 16 or 17 years old and mostly from nuclear families (71.1%). Of all participants, 45.8% in males and 49.4% in females correctly answered on sexual knowledge, 47.6% of males and 28.3% of females accepted premarital sex, 60.0% of male and 65.0% of females knew peers with sexual intercourse experience, and 78.1% of males and 79.1% of females agreed with a sense of community belonging. When multiple logistic regression analyses performed, in model 1, sexual awareness was significantly associated with Rosenberg Self-Esteem score in female. In model 2, above association disappeared but significant association was found between sexual awareness and cognitive social capital in both sexes OR (95% CI), male 1.39 (1.05 - 1.84), female 1.99 (1.49 - 2.65). Fine bubbles have been widely applied in many fields such as industry,medical engineering and ***,many attentions have been paid to the study of fine bubble generations in order to increase the yield while decrease the ***,the generation process of fine bubbles is a quite complicated process in which multiple hydrodynamic forces are interacted in the gas-liquid two-phase *** studies focus on the techniques of the converging-diverging nozzle(venturi tube)generator,which is famous for its simple and cheap features,and generates fine bubbles by using the miniaturization phenomenon of bubbles occurring in the venturi ***,the impact conditions on the amount and size of bubbles such as nozzle geometry and bleed air haven’t been investigated *** this work,we implement many experiments on the venturi tube fine bubble generators with different geometries and generating conditions,and evaluate different factors impacting the production components such as the volume and the bubble *** experimental results show that the supersonic flow filed in the venturi tube promotes the miniaturization of the bubbles,and the convergent angle of the nozzle and air bleed have a great impact on the size and volume of bubbles.

A Survey of Learning Needs about Oral Care for Intubated Patients among New nursing Staff

Our aim was to understand the actual conditions of oral care for intubated patients by new nurses. This study was carried out from December 2017 to March 2018. We applied the theme of the dissipation of the dissociation between nursing skills learned in basic nursing education and nursing skills required in practice. A questionnaire survey was conducted at four facilities among new nursing staff who had acquired their nursing license in the past year. The questionnaire was composed of questions about their experiences of oral care for intubated patients, when they learned these skills, and what they wanted to learn. Answers were obtained from 118 new nurses. Learning about oral care was important for approximately 20% of the nurses, although it was not considered mandatory by all of the nurses. As infection control measures have revealed the acute needs of care for intubated patients, it is important for nursing students to learn about oral care and attitudes towards intubated patients, along with methods to make intubated patients more comfortable.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of moxibustion therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH). METHODS: Four Chinese databases and three English databases were searched from their inception to April *** controlled trials (RCTs) were included if moxibustion was used as the sole treatment or as a part of combination therapy with other treatments in patients with LDH. Two reviewers independently extracted the data and assessed the methodological quality using the Cochrane criteria for the risk of bias. The Meta-analysis was performed using Review Manager 5.3 software. RESULTS: In total, 16 RCTs including 1186 patients with LDH were analyzed. The Meta-analysis showed favorable effects of moxibustion in combination with massage therapy on the visual analog scale score compared with massage therapy alone [mean difference (MD)=? 1.32, 95% confidence interval (CI)(? 2.12,? 0.51), P = 0.001]. The subgroup Meta-analysis failed to show favorable effects of electro-acupuncture plus moxibustion on the efficacy rate compared with electro-acupuncture alone [relative risk (RR)= 1.06, 95% CI (0.98, 1.14), P = 0.15]. However, acupuncture or massage therapy plus moxibustion improved the efficacy rates compared with acupuncture or massage therapy alone [RR = 1.33, 95% CI (1.18, 1.49), P japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) scores, acupuncture or massage therapy in addition to moxibustion produced results different from those of acupuncture or massage therapy alone [MD = 5.58, 95% CI (4.15, 7.00), P < 0.000 01][χ^2 = 0.58, P = 0.45, I2 = 0%],[MD = 3.61, 95% CI (3.01, 4.21), P < 0.000 01]. There were no significant differences in the JOA score for subjective symptoms, objective symptoms, daily living ability, and other parameters. Objective:The aim of this study is to analyze the differences in galanin(GAL)and 5‑hydroxytryptamine(5‑HT)levels in patients with different subtypes of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)and its correlation with anxiety and depression in ***:Using the reflux disease questionnaire,238 patients with GERD were selected as the study *** to the endoscopic performance,they were divided into the nonerosive reflux disease(NERD)group(114 patients)and the RE group(124 patients).Sixty healthy people were selected as the control *** research subjects were tested using the self‑rating anxiety scale(SAS)and the self‑rating depression scale(SDS)to assess the severity of anxiety and *** levels of 5‑HT and GAL were analyzed using enzyme‑linked immunosorbent ***:Compared with the control group,5‑HT level in GERD patients without anxiety and depression was higher(t=1.97,P<0.05)and GAL level was lower(t=1.97,P<0.05).NERD patients demonstrated more server anxiety(F=55.92,P<0.05)and depression problems(F=36.51,P<0.05)compared to reflux esophagitis(RE)*** 5‑HT level was lower(F=54.53,P<0.05)and the GAL level was higher(F=8.00,P<0.05)in NERD patients compared with the control ***,5‑HT level was negatively correlated with SAS(r=−0.789,P<0.05)and SDS(r=−0.787,P<0.05)scores;GAL level was positively correlated with SAS(r=0.688,P<0.05)and SDS(r=0.705,P<0.05)scores;5‑HT and GAL level were negatively correlated(r=−0.744,P<0.05).Conclusions:5‑HT level is higher and GAL level was lower in GERD patients without anxiety and depression than healthy people;the symptoms of anxiety and depression of NERD patients are more severe compared to those of RE patients;the severity of anxiety and depression was negatively correlated with the level of 5‑HT and positively with GAL level.

The three-dimensional stress distributions in the area surrounding indentation pattern for three different materials, Al2O3, Si3N4 and SiC were analyzed by finite element method(FEM). Those theoretical results were also compared with the experimental ones by Rockwell hardness test. The effect of loading stress on the plastic deformation in specimens, surface was investigated on the assumption of shear strain energy theory by Huber-Mises when the materials were indented. The distributions of nomal stress, shear stress, and Mises stress were analysed with variations of loading conditions. It is clear that the analytical results for the stress distributions, the crack length and its density of probability are in good agreement with the experimental results.

The purpose of this study is to understand the factor that influence the heating efficiency of the outward and inward multi-hole gas burner. The flame-hole angle and the distance from flame hole to heating object are chosen as the experimental parameters. The measurement of the flame temperature distribution is carried out on each experimental condition. The observation of combustion flame, by the Schlieren method, is done from the purpose to understand the combustion phenomenon on the heating efficiency. LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) is used for the test fuel gas. The compositions of LPG are propane 97.5vol%, butane 0.2vol% and methane + ethylene 2.3vol%. The optimum ranges of the flame-hole angle and the distance from flame hole to heating object are clarified. The experimental correlation equations for the outward and inward multi-flame-hole gas burner are proposed.
