Fractal regions appearing in BSCCO films after annealing have been investigated by atomic force microscopy and transmission electron *** fractal dimensions and fractal density(number of fractals per unit area)are temperature *** lower annealing temperature(450℃)both the morphologies and fractal dimensions closely resemble those arising in two dimensional diffusion-limited-aggregation(DLA)*** observation results show that after annealing at 600℃ or higher temperature,the fractal regions changed,even disappeared,which means the growth mechanism is very different from that of traditional DLA.A random diffusion and successive nucleation model has been proposed to explain the results.

We propose a novel self-consistent mean field approximation method by means of a Fierz transformation,taking the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model as an *** new self-consistent mean field approximation introduces a new free parameter a to be determined *** a assumes the value of 0.5,the approximation reduces to the mean field calculation commonly used in the ***,we study the influence of the undetermined parameter a on the phase diagram of the two-flavor strong interaction *** value of a plays a crucial role in the strong interaction phase diagram,as it not only changes the position of the phase transition point of strong interaction matter,but also affects the order of the phase *** example,when a is greater than the critical valueαc = 0.71,then the strong interaction matter phase diagram no longer has a critical end *** addition,in the case of zero temperature and finite density,we found that when a>1.044,the pseudo-critical chemical potential corresponds to ～4-5 times the saturation density of the nuclear matter,which agrees with the expected results from the picture of the hadrons degree of *** resulting equations of state of strong interaction matter at low temperatures and high densities will have an important impact on studies concerning the mass radius relationship of neutron stars and the merging process of binary neutron stars.

Resonating-group method has been applied to calculate the ΩΩ (SIJ = -6,0,0) dibaryon state in theframework of the extended quark-delocalization color-screening model. The mass of the di-Ω is predicted to be about45 MeV lower than the Ω-Ω threshold. The effect of channel coupling due to the tensor force and sensitivity to mesonexchange short-range cutoff radius, ro have also been studied.

Attenuated Listeria monocytogenes （LM） is a promising candidate vector for the delivery of cancer vaccines. After phagocytosis by antigen-presenting cells, this bacterium stimulates the major histocompatibility complex （MHC）-I and MHC-II pathways and induces the proliferation of antigen-specific T lymphocytes. A new strategy involving genetic modification of the replication-deficient LM strain AdalAdat （Lmdd） to express and secrete human CD24 protein has been developed. CD24 is a hepatic cancer stem cell biomarker that is closely associated with apoptosis, metastasis and recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）. After intravenous administration in mice, Lmdd-CD24 was distributed primarily in the spleen and liver and did not cause severe organ injury. Lmdd-CD24 effectively increased the number of interferon （IFN）-7-producing CD8＋ T cells and IFN-7 secretion. Lmdd-CD24 also enhanced the number of IL-4- and IL-lO-producing T helper 2 cells. The efficacy of the Lmdd-CD24 vaccine was further investigated against Hepa1- 6-CD24 tumors, which were inguinally inoculated into mice. Lmdd-CD24 significantly reduced the tumor size in mice and increased their survival. Notably, a reduction of T regulatory cell （Treg） numbers and an enhancement of specific CD8＋ T-cell activity were observed in the tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes （TILs）. These results suggest a potential application of the Lmdd-CD24 vaccine against HCC.

Optical metamaterials can concentrate light interaction with quantum objects. In this paper, into extremely tiny volumes to enhance their a cylindrical microcavity based on the Au-dielectric-Au sandwiched structure is proposed. Numerical study shows that the cylindrical microcavity has the strong ability of localizing light and confining 10^3- - 10^4-fold enhancement of the electromagnetic energy density, which contains the most energy of the incoming light. The enhancement factor of energy density G inside the cavity shows the regularities as the change in the thickness of the dielectric slab, dielectric constant, and the radius of gold disk. At the normal incidence of electromagnetic radiation, the obtained reflection spectra operate in the range from 4.8 μm to 6μm and with the absorption efficiency C （C=1-Rmin）, which can reach 99% by optimizing the structure＇s geometry parameters, and the dielectric constant. Due to the symmetry of the cylindrical microcavities, this structure is insensitive to the polarization of the incident wave. The proposed optical metamaterials will have potential applications in the surface enhanced spectroscopy, new plasmonic detectors, bio-sensing, solar cells, etc.

Full-duplex(FD)has been recognized as a promising technology for future 5G networks to improve the spectrum ***,the biggest practical impediments of realizing full-duplex communications are the presence of self-interference,especially in complex cellular *** the current development of self-interference cancellation techniques,full-duplex has been considered to be more suitable for device-to-device(D2D)and small cell communications which have small transmission range and low transmit *** this paper,we consider the full-duplex D2D communications in multi-tier wireless networks and present an analytical model which jointly considers mode selection,resource allocation,and power ***,we consider a distance based mode selection *** performance analysis of different D2D communications modes are performed based on stochastic geometry,and tractable analytical solutions are *** we investigate the optimal resource partitions between dedicated D2D mode and cellular *** results validate the theoretical anlaysis and indicate that with appropriate proportions of users operated in different transmission modes and optimal partitioning of spectrum,the performance gain of FD-D2D communication can be achieved.

Barrier coverage of wireless sensor networks is an important issue in the detection of intruders who are attempting to cross a region of ***,in certain applications,barrier coverage cannot be satisfied after random *** this paper,we study how mobile sensors can be efficiently relocated to achieve k-barrier *** particular,two problems are studied:relocation of sensors with minimum number of mobile sensors and formation of k-barrier coverage with minimum energy *** two problems were formulated as 0–1 integer linear programming(ILP).The formulation is computationally intractable because of integrality and complicated ***,we relax the integrality and complicated constraints of the formulation and construct a special model known as RELAX-RSMN with a totally unimodular constraint coefficient matrix to solve the relaxed 0–1 ILP rapidly through linear *** analysis and simulation were performed to verify the effectiveness of our approach.

We use the direct method proposed by He et al. [Phys. Lett. B 680 （2009） 432） to calculate the quark-number susceptibility （QNS） at finite temperature and the chemical potential in the quasi-particle model. In our approach the QNS is given by a formula solely involving the dressed quark propagator at finite chemical potential μ and temperature Τ. The QNS at finite μ and Τ is calculated in the quasi-particle model. It is found that at high temperatures the QNS tends to the ideal quark gas result. At very small temperatures the QNS vanishes. This vanishing behavior in the low-temperature region is consistent with the lattice results. For μ∈ [0,180] MeV, our results show that there exists a rapid increase of QNS near some temperatures. The temperature at which the rapid increase occurs shifts to smaller values with the increasing quark chemical potential. This rapid increase could be regarded as a signal of a crossover.
